Wow, for someone who tries to talk like a vet, you seem to lack knowledge of when those 2 zones you discussed popped up... Extreme Games, or Rompball as it was formally called, has been around since '97. And Trench Wars and Trench Wars Dark were having their big fight while VIE was still in charge. Quite a few other player made zones are still around from the days of Jeff and team also. So go back to your SVS elitist group and try again, thanks. On a side note: I love doing ?userinfo on some of these SVS "vets" who talk crap and find out that "I've used this alias since I started in 98" was really 2003-2005

I was recently notified by Ghost Ship that PriitK has updated all the SSCU/SSCX zones he hosts with a fixed subgame, and that the fixed version should be on its way to his e-mail. Will keep you guys updated on when it is released.

L.C. requests SSC from the council. E-mails either myself or another council member, we forward it on and vote. Pretty much states information on his server, who the admins are, and what zones he hosts. The council decides from there. Guidelines should hopefully be out soon. They are being pulled back for more modifications before they are voted on again. They passed but was still some work needed.

Cycad from SSCU Extreme Games has modified his version of Subgame to also fix the "Y2K10" log bug. Amongst its many other features, his hacked subgame allows plugins to be coded just like ASSS modules. An example fix he has added is chat 8 working for zone staff. So if you are curious to try out something other than ASSS, or really don't want to try and make ASSS work well on windows, Cycad's subgame is a great option to try out. Cycad's Website

It's funny after how many times I've mentioned it people still think we're not working on anything. Figured it'd be pretty public by how many are involved/been asked. And noone looks to Priit as a leader of this game. Ghost Ship is who I always goto and who is allowing us to run this project. Priit is semi-awake right now, and if word got out encryption was broke, he would fix it. He's changed the cont encryption slightly with almost every version from what I remember Snrrrub saying. And since the reason we're currently after him is for a subgame fix, it wouldn't be out of question for him to release a server fix at the same time if he found a client fix needed. There is a lot of support behind Dr Brain and his continuing dev with ASSS, and a lot of interest and support behind Bak- with Discretion. The billing server is still up in the air as a few different people are willing to code it, and 1 person who knows the commands inside and out says he is coding one. But where this all goes, we just wait and see. This project is only in its infancy. Continuum's basework started in 99, and was put into plan the same year by the council. And seeing as it wasn't released until 2001, I would say we have a lot of time to go, with a lot less information to work with. But this is all just an idea/plan. With Priit, you never know when he'll pop up with something or be willing to do something. All we can do is try.

I dunno yet... was downloading Windows 7 since my Eval Copy gonna begin doing its bs stuff soon, and the torrent was running @1.2mb/s killin my internet. So couldn't do anything, and was bored. Had larry make a graphic, but imho it looked like he either half assed it or did it drunk. So I decided to make it, and thought the idea was cool and the slogan was nice. So figured it'd be something catchy.

Yep. After almost a year, he replied to Ghost on his skype. We think only cause he was on vacation and paying attention to it. But told ghost he'd try to get around to fixing it. Don't take it that he is easily reachable though. It was just all random timing and luck in our eyes.

Since 01/01/2010 Zones have been reporting a bug with Subgame where *log will show either only the date, or the date and action on 2 seperate lines. PriitK has promised to fix this bug once he returns from vacation, but until then Divine.216 was able to do a simple hack to subgame to fix it. Feel free to download Divine's fixed version of Subgame2.exe from ASWZ's Website. Thanks to Divine for this fix.

actually in a lot of zones, it doesn't even output anything after the date. TW is the 1st zone to report it showing anything.
