Version History page is now complete. Took a lot of searching, but got official release Month/Year of every version. Doesn't include all the Pre-Releases that were public (IE: .38pr2) but does cover all the major releases.

Only 2 or 3 basic pages are left, but I have decided to launch it ahead of time to get our Community News Project alive and kicking! Community News Project? Thats right. You post news, we approve it, and you help us drive SubSpace Online's news section. Gonna begin working on getting the Billing Site and News Script done this weekend. The Council is putting a final polishing on the SSC Acceptance Guidelines for Hosts and Zones. And I think zone developers will like them. So want to get them up on a website asap.

Priit has finally responded. If I can get access to the scores db, this would be very possible. Also, I have no issue doing a billing message about a championship game in a zone's league, or maybe one about a special scheduled event. I'm talking 1 message, not a bunch of spam though.

Weird... SSCUServers was working earlier today. Had been for a while again.

Got bored and did some more reading/searching. Source will support an overhead view game. There are some patches for 2D side scrolling/overhead spaceshooters, but I think an overhead 3d world would be rather interesting for some of the things zones like DS like to do. Not saying this is our route, but there are a few programmers I've talked to who don't feel like re-inventing the wheel like they've felt like they've been doing attempting a client of their own. So just trying to help give them ideas/input.

MM... been a long time, so mighta been. Swore there was a 2d mod. But reading through some forums about the Source engine and 2d, it is possible.

There is a 2d Version of Half-Life. a Side Scroller at that. The Source Engine is just a graphics engine, not a 3d or 2d exclusive engine.

12/28/2009 - Cre resigned as Administrator - No reason given 12/29/2009 1100 PST - Downloaded IPB 3.0.5 upgrade, IP.Content 1.1.2 Upgrade, IP.Downloads 2.1.0 RC2 1130 PST - Moved files around on SubSpace Online, preparing to move administration back to SSForum. 1215 PST - Prepared SSForum for IPB 3.0.5 upgrade 1230 PST - Began IPB 3.0.5 upgrade of SSForum and prepartion for IP.Content 1.0.0 Install and IP.Downloads 2.1.0 RC2 Upgrade 1330 PST - Upgrade completed. Was on phone so distracted slightly. On to next upgrades. 1450 PST - All upgrades completed, and fixed an old IP.Downloads CSS issue: http://www.ssforum.net/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=22 - Looks beautiful now. 1515 PST - Got IP.Content almost ready to move SSO back to SSF CP. Gonna go do some work round the house and take a break. 12/30/2009 1100 PST - Realizing my vacation is half over, kicked it into high gear cleaning up SSF db before adding more to it. 1200 PST - Began moving SSO back to SSF. Realizing maybe the SSO Twitter account might be useful for something. 1245 PST - SSO is once again running off of the SSF Database. Now to work on a few other updates. 12/31/2009 1630 PST - Began categorizing some old unused subdomains in a text file to move to http://history.subspaceonline.com/name/ 1730 PST - Began downloading such subdomains to move tomorrow. 01/08/2010 1700 PST - Began work on News Script 1715 PST - Canned News Script/Internal DB Idea, not possible like originally thought. 1730 PST - Canned News Script idea altogether after reading bout how to use Feeds to pull info from forums, and that it is possible to pull more data than the example shows. 1800 PST - Finished Connecting SSO news to SSF's SSO News forum. 1845 PST - Announced Biller wide the news SubSpace Online Community News Project. 1900 PST - Called it Quits for the night. More tomorrow. 01/09/2010 1330 PST - (Wild Card Weekend Starts) Began Work on Version History Page 1530 PST - Completed Version History Page 1550 PST - Groups page completed (makes me think sso's twitter would really be useful for these updates, hah). 1820 PST - Added Comments Link and Count to the News. Quick and Easy, gotta love it. 1900 PST - Beginning work on Billing site template HTML/CSS. 01/17/2010 Missed some updates but oh well... 1245 PST - Began work on a download image to replace the Advertisements section on front page 1310 PST - Using download image, began planning the "Get Sucked In" promo campaign. There is always those who are negative and those who are positive. It is the way of the force of SubSpace. Yeah lame I know, but it tis true, hah.

Besides stuff I gotta get done around my house, going to try and take a day or 2 and spend it on SSO. On vacation til Jan 4th, so gonna have a lot of free time, and my home project list is really dwindeling down. So if you notice things breaking, or changing... don't worry, its not things breaking on their own, its just me tinkering. I will try to post some of the updates here though... but any major requests before I get started? And anyone not on SSO staff up for a full time commitment? IE: not helping for a week or so then ditching as many have pretty much offered.

Dunno yet. G/f eating breakfast right now, gonna open mine after that. She already got hers with me asking her to marry me. So I guess I should say Fiance eating breakfast?
