A lot of comments I have received on SSO are that the content on larger resolutions is sometimes hard to read. The site was designed with 1024x768 in mind, but most users have moved on to wide screen resolutions, larger resolutions, or a combination of both. Still keeping 1024x768's browser width in mind, I did increase the content font size to make it a bit more readable on larger browsers. This also required me to increase the content box area, and make a few other minor design width changes. Overall I think it still looks perfectly fine, though some pages will need tweaks here and there. But it also does give room on some pages for more content to fit in without causing the page to be miles long. As always, Feedback and Comments are requested. And as you can see, I do listen to them.

About a month ago the Council approved SSL for SSC connectivity. Due to some delays with ops being out of town, including SSL's admin, the official launch was delayed. But now SSL is finally added to the firewall, SSC "Slots" have been added, and SSL zones can now take advantage of SSC. SSCL adds to the growing list of SSC approved hosts who give full support to ASSS on linux, and helps to continue the effort to turn SSC into a more diverse community of zones. I've had enough of it. I had many users complain if root wasn't banned, they'd leave cause they were tired of his crap. I am tired of his crap myself now too. But I don't leave, you do. I'm not blaming the full 140+/day members visiting down to 50-60/day visiting on him, but quite a few old members who complained about him are active elsewhere in this community still. Actually based mine on the ASSS one so wouldn't be hard. I prefer to understand how something I am using works, so coded my own while researching the methods he used on the php docs. Though found it very useful. As for the directory servers, would probably be a simple tweak to the current code I have to add it in. Might do that this weekend honestly.

While the SSC Biller was down I got bored and began thinking of a way to maybe display the status of the biller online. This led me back to an old script I had once began playing with Sockets and UDP to grab zone statuses. Well, through some reading and research I found there is some documentation over the the Server Help Wiki about the Subgame Ping Protocol. It allows you to send a timestamp, and receive a packet containing a timestamp and the current population. So essentially using this, you can determine if the zone is online, and get its current population. So thus I decided maybe a network status page was something I should add to SSO. It was in my original plans, but I never had the time to dwell in it much. You can preview the page here and leave feedback and ideas in the comments section of this post. Thanks and Enjoy.

Wine is 10x easier to quickly randomize. Windows takes a bit of effort or an outside program. Edit: Regardless, told your brother what he needs to tweak to randomize his macid.

Said Are when I meant Aren't. Its cause he has a common macid with the banned players. I'm going to take a lot of slack for this... but in Wine, you can set your macid, if this is his case.

And looking at the bans, both are on macid 1, so he needs to contact the zones for a banfree if it isn't him that was banned. Edit: macid 1 = default macid for WINE users. Some Windows PCs also get this macid, but a lot of the time their users are having other read/write issues anyways.

At 10:05pm PST ( 01:05am EST ) last night the SSC Billing Server went offline. If it has crashed, or is down for maintenance is currently unknown, but attempts are being made to reach Priit and find out the status. Will keep you updated here on any changes or information. Update: Back Online as of 12:15pm PST ( 03:15pm EST )

SSCU/SSCX is currently experiencing multiple router issues causing various zones to appear down for some players. We sadly have no control over this, but will keep you updated on when it resolves. -PoLiX

yeah, they won't be sent out yet by then. Also once you get back we all need to get together and go get sized. Telling them you are short isn't a good enough. Granted next to my bros, me, and my cous you will be short, but eh, hah.

Motorola Razor right now that I removed the camera from. Debating if I want to just pay a .01 and get a HTC Tilt and remove the camera hoping I don't fuck it up, or get the version of it without the camera for $250. Level 4 is not technically a bomb or gun level. Level 3 is the max level. Level 4 is temporary upgrades (if upgrades enabled) of either bombs or bullets. It is caused by carrying flags, or again when enabled, the soccer ball. This gives the level 4 upgrade to a flag carrier. Not positive, but I think it is UseFlagger under Soccer. Or might be FlaggerUpgrade, I forget. But turning this to 1 will give the same settings you have set for carrying flags for carrying the soccer ball. Hope this all makes some sense. Tired and girl made some drinks before bed. I apologize if not fully understandable.

I was gonna say. I remember being on a field trip to Victoria one time and a friend of mine had an allergic reaction to some food they had us try, forget what it was. But guess he didn't know it had nuts in it, as it looked mostly meat. Was some weird thing they had at the parliment building there. But anyways... The teacher took him straight to the doctors and he was seen right away. Even came back on the same ferry and bus with all of us, and this was almost at the end of the trip that this happened. I never hear anything bad about the health insurance up there (both government and private), and a lot of people cross the border when US physicians won't do anything for them. Guess it all depends on how far you live from Canada on your perspective.

1 BlueT and 1 SSCV is. The 2 that SSCUServers 1st picked up, so their namepassword now must be set for all the BlueT and all the SSCV zones respectively for it to work. No, just the same password for any zone using the prefix. IP doesn't matter.

he means for NamePassword... for all of them to properly show, they have to have the same password. It deals with the prefix, not the entire zone name.
