  1. It'll be back up shortly. I'm just moving everything to the new server still. SSCentral.com itself was moved, just not all the subdomains. Should be finished by this weekend at latest.
  2. Work fine. You posted the video url as a link and then put media tags around it. That won't work.
  3. And there is problem #1
  4. odds are registering on the bot adds you the the VIP.txt Or they are allowing SubSpace protocol to connect. More likely the first.
  5. use the media tags [media]url[/media] The coders have gone MIA on both the arcade projects. Actually hadn't released a new version of them in quite some time. So being IPB has upgraded, probably be another 5-6months before we see any attempts. If you're willing to work on the downloads section, no coding is needed.
  6. News Going to have a proper news section where editors can approve submissions, and post news. Will be a better system than what we have now with categories, images, etc. and still quickly accessible from the forum. About Continuum About Subspace / Continuum, Gameplay Info, Client History, etc. all under 1 section. Will give a nice section to send people to looking for information on the game. Tutorials FAQs, How-Tos, Tips and Tricks, 1 entire section for all sorts of help for new and old players. Network Zones status, IP & Port, Short review (started by flared), Screenshot(s), Current Pop - Avg Pop - High Pop - Low Pop, and link to website. Links A nicely laid out categorized page of links to everything SubSpace. Reviews, Groups, Leagues, Development, etc. This will just be the start of what is planned to come. We will also have a new player landing site for advertising purposes, possible a new quotes system, and much more. Already had been working on some of it before the move/update, so progress is being made. Got Spacehiker helping me with SEO and getting this site ranked up. Going to need to begin advertising it soon, and getting other ss websites linking to it. A lot of this will be player involved, so will need help from EVERYONE, not just staff. Though I am still in need of someone to take on the downloads section of the site.
  7. go ahead and try logging in now.
  8. recording it actually smoothed it out pretty well. So all it is is the lanc with every other pixel blacked out on the whatevershipitreallyisroll, and then in the ships.bm2
  9. Wow, I feel stupid. I just made a cool transparent weasel And if I recorded it, bet it'd smooth it out, and it'd look transparent & unpixelated
  10. 1 thing I gotta give Trench Wars, they're great at finding and exploiting bugs. Some I have seen them use to their advantage in the dev zone for events ideas. We have found many unfinished parts of continuum / subgame. Not saying this is another case, but that screenshot sama posted really makes it hard to believe it is just black pixels.
  11. Seems the upload limits got tweaked during upgrade. Will look at them... I think the best bet is like xog said. It is trench wars, and you definately wouldn't wanna run that track in a lev, unless you're really that insanely bored and patient. Figuring the ghost is just another ship (say the lev for the sake of it), it would make sense. Transparent PNG is something I haven't toyed with much, but I'd assume it may be possible?
  12. here ya goPsychedelic_GFX_Pack.zip
  13. SSForum.net & Subdomain (ie: http://17th.ssforum.net) redirects are working again.
  14. yep. Joe just updated the DNS for the domain. Will get them working shortly. Been out at the store getting supplies to sand my porch for painting. Will work on it while I eat.
  15. And note: That guest welcome box is as much about SEO as it is about the players.
  16. lol. I didn't type it, assumed it was fine. Will fix it. And you only saw that not logged in, correct? Edit: fixed.
  17. Tweaked it so the "Featured File" is only shown to Guests (target audience anyways) & Admins (to make sure it is kept set to Continuum & such)
  18. very nice
  19. Cheese wasn't the first to notice, nor the first to post about it. Just the first to post about it in a thread where it was on topic, or an actual question/suggestion. We use to have editing to 15mins for years (is software default), but at some point it somehow got removed. Was requested by a couple admins that maybe we turn it back on, and so I did. Really, I see no point to going back and editing your post a day later. Most forums don't allow editing over 15-20mins, and all is fine. You make 10 posts on a page regardless. So I doubt anyone will notice a difference. Though I will be expecting your first 2x post to try and prove your point shortly. I see you don't understand the point of the BBCode. Probably because you've never looked into the Technical Support forums threads where "Warning: This could happen" or "Warning: Don't do this" could be very useful. It can also say alert, or anything you want in the red. But the forums do have a private warning system, though we rarely use it. Maybe I didn't want your help? Nor really ever have? Ever thought of that?
  20. it is a BBCode...
  21. Warning This is a test. This is only a test. This is a test of the warning bbcode. This was only a test. Workng on getting all the old mods/hooks installed. Some haven't updated yet for the new forum version (IE: arcade).
  22. sounds fun.
  23. fixed the chat. Seems it is an installer bug with the css. It doesn't populate the CSS file properly, and doesn't associate it with the application so IPB will load it.
  24. http://www.subspace.co/topic/25908-installing-on-a-mac-guide/ - best place to read the progress
