Well, you tell everyone you "threaten me" 2x every day, but I can only recall 1 ?message ever since you were banned. I find that entertaining. Also. I have nothing to do with your ban. But eh, guess you assume guilt by association.

Topic cleaned some... http://forums.ssgn.net/topic/25915-stuff-from-eg/ for the other stuff.

Acid Rain has never been a "Friend". I dunno why this whole "PoLiX sent me from Chaos" bs started. I never met the guy until one day I stopped in EG, he found out I was netop, and began bugging me. Being I haven't even been hanging out in Chaos for a "couple of years" even, and being "he's a newcomer" hth can someone be a couple of years, and a new comer? Pat flat old told me he was Acid Rain. And as I always tell all you and your nn2 buddies, there is no alias command on the biller. Sorry, can't do it. As for the ban, he found a *unknown* squad and promised to use it for EGFL. I told him my rules for lending those squads for league use (which only he has ever broken), and he agreed. He then went and traded the squad for some names without even telling the squad members, and they were still on the squad even. So naturally I told him he broke our agreement, and he faced the consequences. It had nothing to do with "hiding his alias". I've read you guys posting this more than enough times on EG forums (I do visit and read them still), and I typically laugh when acid calls me his "friend" (especially since I won't give him any of the squads he wants). But figure since it is here now, and I am logged in here all the time, might as well reply. edit: http://www.extreme-games.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=25962&p=485980#p485980 - there, replied on eg forum.

And people say we need to ban abortion.... It's not hard to find people who give reasons to support it. 2 in this thread even.

Going to assume you meant to post this in Chaos forum. Moved it for ya for now.

Sorry for late reply/move.

To better promote the community, and after months of debating, I have decided to move to a SubSpace domain. The tld is still new in growth, but has a lot of push behind it from many in the tech community. SubSpace.CO will be our new and final home. My goal has always been to be a short domain, but something that emphasizes our game. SubSpaceOnline everyone disliked due to the length, and just went to the forums instead. SSGN new players definately don't understand, and even many current ones ask what that is. Along with that, I am also moving the site to a new host. I've got some financial changes I need to make over the next few months, and getting the same resources from a very respectable host for half price is almost a no brainer to me. Even if I didn't have to cut some costs where I could, I think it'd be a good move. The other move will be dropping the frontpage. Everything will centralize around the forums. IPB is a very unique software in allowing many of the features I hope to add with total member control. I feel the members of the forum having control over the updating of the content will help better proof-read, finalize, and keep the content dynamic and living. We're always learning and finding new things in our game, and the more that we can do to share the information with each other, the better. More updates and information to come over the next month.

Consultants regularly go into companies not only giving advice, but also helping create their plans, ideas, etc. That is part of the job. Anyone could come in and say "you need to change this and that", or "do this and that", but people prefer someone who will also get involved and help them. You might even say jumpstart the action.

Topic pinned. Thanks Lynx.

Topic is fine here. I think we are both at a point in our games where "competing" would do us no good. I'd have to say the only benefit we have is we were abandoned and bought up in a mass "buy what is left", and our current "owners" have employed our client's programmer. Infantry on the other hand, outside of SOE, faces SOE (being the bastards they can be) stepping back in if they see something living again. Really at this point doubtful, but just one shitty thing that I hope doesn't get in the way of your efforts if things do grow. I always kinda thought a SubSpace + Infantry client/server enviroment could be rather interesting (ignoring Cosmic Rift). But eh, who knows.

Actually he was also net-banned a few times on different aliases, and banned from a few other zones for cross-zone spamming squads during league matches. So no doubt, that was just the last straw.
-
Yep, because I ban people from here all the time. Lets see the elite group you'd join... TwistyTheFly Spyed Poophie rootbear75 2pac Mage+ Machu Attraction 007paulwall *rc 1223* And some of their aliases. Yep, such nazis we are here.

1st it is one month, now its 2 months? #2751 access:4 by Mom 2011-06-23 20:34 days:14 * mid:* Falconeer Asked by Ent, owner DSB, to set netban. Please contact him for further details. Try exchanging months with weeks. Gonna split the Avast stuff off the thread, and if he hijacks another one, will ban him.

It is a long dirty road that ends with us not having the source or ability to edit the client on a as needed basis. They're not to keen on adding a game that hasn't been updated in almost 4yrs. Though I did point out how many games on there are older, and haven't been updated in some time. Didn't get a reply to that one. Kinda givin up on the idea of it. One other person I did run into, had said he tried getting his game onto Steam once, and it seemed like they were pretty profit motivated in wanting control of things / priority on a producing deal if your game took off. Also a few people pointed out how hard it has been for games since Steam hooked up with people like EA. I think maybe we need to try focusing elsewhere. One person recommend hitting on some of the gaming blogs and facebook gaming groups. Might be a legit idea. Many of the people who visit these sites are more "diehard" gamers who will give anything free a try just to give their 2 cents on it.

Nope, sadly can't take credit for that one. Though I'd be more than happy to.

Do you really enjoy making yourself look like a total idiot? A zone can ban anyone they want for any reason they want. They could just one day decide they don't want you there anymore and ban you. They have every right to do so. TBH I could do the same on my forums. Normally I don't, but you are really pushin that button with your stupidity lately.
-
Well, Avast turned this thread into plain stupidity / all about him. Closing. [Jun 21 08:06] Troll God: lol glad to see your a tool for other people. if they were right, and i was being plain stupid, they wouldn't mind the thread being there showing how stupid i am. It's obvious they can't justify their actions. You listen too much

Looks like your ISP is connecting from Brasil to New York then to Dallas which is a very odd routing. The 1st one to EG makes more sense. What is your lag like in game? Sometimes traces can show ploss for a few cycles (best to do 100+ before posting), but you experience very little in game.

Also, just the point out the 3 big flaws... ?lostpassword - And no "can't use it" as billing rules that he/she who owns the e-mail attached to the name, owns the name. also they can just fill out a billing ticket, and we can pretty quickly determine them the rightful owner. and finally if chaos supported this, going against billing rules, we'd have to remove the zone from SSC. Think that is enough good reasons to explain my point

No. And that is the final answer.
