Actually one of those 3 tickets, the person had the same full name as their computer's owner, and had filled in their real name on their new name on the registration. It isn't just computer hardware that it pulls. On top of that, there is 3 zone's alias dbs we trust that are rather old and we regularly use that to find matching login data.

Continuum was not a ground up operation. I think anyone looking at the timeline could figure that out (Priit's announcement to the first test release). Priit was not the solo coder of continuum. At the time continuum technically was illegal due to it having subspace code owned by BDE, & other code that was technically BDE's property included in it. It is a big messy web of crap that Continuum is stuck in. Really the only reason I think BDE never touched us beyond us being non-profitable to them, is Priit's work on KaZaA.

There is a lot of other data to fill in, and a lot of computer data also pulled upon registration we can look at / match. A lot of the time people just refuse to do the simple things we ask to help them, so they get denied.

On a side note: priit didn't create a command for it anyways. And I just retrieved 4 names off 3 tickets no problem

Typically if we deny someone, it is truly their own fault for not filling in proper information. I would say probably only 1/50 tickets get denied, and maybe 1/20 the person never replies to our questions. Most of the time we are able to find connecting info, and the name is retrieved. We have retrieved people's names who haven't logged in for more than 7 or 8 year before. But again hat is because they properly filled out all the registration info.

Syntax highlighting has been added. Also tweaked settings so will list all public pastebins for sharing purposes, and so it will save to file not database (this wiped all current pastes, sorry.).

5b2 = to 5 deaths, and you have to win by 2. Meaning if you get 5 kills and they have 4 kills, you still have to get another kill (6-4). But if you get 5 kills, and they have 3 kills, you win. And if you have 5 kills and they have 4 kills, and get another kill, you need to get 2 kills to win still.

Thought it might be useful for developers and such. Toy with it. If doesn't look useful, we can remove. Lemme know whatcha guys think, honestly.

Think it is obvious. Just a way to award members for the things they do with some recognition. Maybe nothing special, but something none the less. Might find something better in the near future.

Noone has asked, but thought I'd say. I am going to pay this and next month's server bills regardless. Should end up with ~50 left of my money in paypal. Not going to list it in the donations, as I don't think of it as a donation. Anything donated over the total needed will just be used until it is used up. Hopefully by then I'll be good again, or atleast figure out what the next move is.

No. Might be able to be, but don't think so. I already know your first name and where you live anyways. Don't care really. Continuum grabs more about you than you'd care to know, trust me. But that is another topic. Decided to keep current server though. As I was reminded, just too much bad luck in the past with not hosting ourselves. Sa'll good. We've all got commitments, IE: why I am asking for any help.

Thread Cleaned Up. Put up a tutorial as a test. Seems template needs a couple tweaks.

Have had an offer to cover all the costs, and have had an offer on hosting on another server. Weighing options atm. Trying to work on the site a bit more also, mostly on the back end. Been really busy and neglecting it for a few months, but finally got some of the updates/scripts I was waiting for from IPB. Sometimes wish they wouldn't give us heads up on nice new features, it just makes me make big plans that wait on them, lol. Would be helpful if anyone wanted to start turning the FAQ questions and answers from the tech support section into Tutorials under the Continuum Client section. Might help give it a kickstart. Fighting a stomach bug atm, so only on the computer a short time to check e-mails and messages. Thanks to everyone for the support so far. Reminds me that this site/game still means something to some people.

Yeah, I honestly really really hate asking for donations. Can only recall 1 other time in the past 10yrs or so I have asked for any, and that was only for a small sum. I just would rather ask, cover what I can from it.

Think I might have figured out why Cpanel wasn't monitoring it properly. Will try fixing it tomorrow and see how it goes.

Have added a Twitter feed app to the forums also. Will allow me to post forum updates to twitter, and in time even feed from other twitter accounts like EG's. Hopefully will allow me to better communicate what is going on around here.

I have installed a "pirated" version of the Tutorials app for us to test out and see if it is worth further investment. My plan/idea for the app long ago was to turn it into a central FAQ/Help section for the game. An addition to the Technical Support forum where newbs and current players alike could go for information and help. There is also the ability for posts to be turned into Tutorials with a single click, many more categories if needed, and even Zones could have their own sections/categories if wanted. Look at it, and lemme know what you guys think.
