  1. I'd rather not change the (major) rules at the fly. This would, for a lack of a better term, totally jew/shaft a couple of the squads in the bottom half.
  2. Shocktech can be replaced, yes. If we have more than one squad willing to do it, we will obviously have those duels play a best of 3 series for the spot However Shocktech has only no-showed once now. The one against requiem wasn't an actual no-show, they had 2 or 3 to play on the original time slot, but for totally selfless reasons requiem wanted a chance to stat-pad I mean play against four of them. NFS cut the log short, I totally explain the 14% later on in there. I've !setscore incorrectly before EDIT: Also, yes. They would inherit the record and K/D of a squad they are replacing. But why, you may ask? Basically to prevent reseting your record back to 0-0 by just replacing your squad with a "new" squad with 95% of the same players, a new name, and an extra player. It's much simpler again to just hand out the previous record than to set a limit of how many players from the squad you are about to replace you're allowed to have. Although the whole no squad name changes during the season rule was much more important for Pyramid. The bot's scheduling would get royally screwed by new squads, or a mistake in the standings. (the losses and the K/D don't really affect anything in the current format before you end up in a tie breaker situation. And not having half the season of results there might benefit a squad.)

Ozn got most of the stats, finishing 5-1 4FR. Like Gods, SFE was up 2-1. Then 3-2. Then 5-3 vs. Rebels. Then they redefine things going wrong and end up only getting one more kill past this point. Meanwhile Eric Clapton has 3 kills by this point and a whopping 8 at the end. And 9 FR. Since I've manipulated the schedule to the liking of my vietnamese overlords, Nguyens kept on the stat-padding roll and got +10 K/D out of Assassins. Cause you know, I don't have anything to do besides prepare everything in advance to skew the scales in our favor. The next time we play, Mop and Develop can't even show up. I already know this. Furtermore this would never happen, had we not had an Easter break. True story. On a more serious note, Assassins had some of their b-line in, while we don't actually have a b-line. We seem to have 7 people. Llamas vs. Unhallowed was a thrilling game. Not very fast, but well played. The log is worth a read for a few chuckles. Like the same people who one week cry about damage done / taken trying to argue Nadai not getting anything done. It's all logical. Sterling finally unleashed their top line-up with SuperDan and ishy4life in vs. Alpha Reunion. And Shocktech no-showed, and are out of the league if they miss next week, or 2 more games during the season. Apparently we might get !norating to replace them. Nuke vs. Unhallowed didn't take long. As I tried to explain to some people last week, Unhallowed's performance really depends a lot on who shows up and feels like playing. By 6:32, Suspension had died twice with 4 WR. That's pretty much game. Cycl0ne, who jumped ship from Llamas, managed the only kill for Unhallowed. Alpha Reunion, like Unhallowed, didn't seem to bring their A-game. Weasal lagged out three times and was replaced by THC. DarkDenizen increased his lead over 7th in league rating by releasing a decoy in 7th's direction, making 7th think it would hit a bomb, which then killed 7th. Bad. And yes, since our schedule is kind of strange, we're trying to at least have some level of fake-fun by "competing" in ranking until our real games start. I'm bringing this up, cause some smartypants wearing people actually seem to think we're trying to use these stats for any sort of proof for anything. Lawl. Sterling had another close one, this time with Requiem. The game was 0-1 for what seemed like a good while. Turns out it was 16:15 for 0-1 and 27:25 for 0-2 in favor of Sterling. Sika then did his best to bring requiem back, but I think three was 0/0 at this point and Sterling wouldn't give him toys. A couple of kills later at 43:58 it looks like Sterling might win this 4-2... and then this all happens: Sika kb mAImER -- Assist by: Rage Sika has 2 lives remaining - [43:58] Score: 4-2 Sterling -- [4v4] Plarep> LOL NOTICE: 1 minute remaining. 7th> lol 7th> haha Sika changes ships. The game log actually has a few lines suggesting people were watching the game and commenting on it. Strange, really. Gods vs. SFE started out quite even. Even enough to still be 4v4 at 6-6 score by 27:34. Both teams also had two people on their last life at this point. And then SFE gets no kills. They just kind of keep doing this :/ Shocktech got a kill vs. Rebels. And it was 4v4 to make it 1-0 -> 1-1 ! I would talk about the stats if they were funny, but Savage's 4-0 with 7FR is the best here so bleh. The most interesting game this past weekend was Llamas vs. Assassins by a mile. Llamas eventually won the game 7-6 after 11 minutes of overtime. To add to the drama, a rogue bot auto-called the game to start in another arena. Looks like the stats are ok, though. Assassins started the game 2-0, so good so far. And then varsity goes and dies twice. I didn't see it, but rumor has it he just kind of suicided. Assassins then pressure Llamas up to 6-3, getting two of them last life. And then varsity dies for the last time. The score is still a winning one for Assassins at 6-4, but only 32:03 into the game there's plenty to go. Llamas then got ossi twice to even it out, then my good friend Jae in the overtime for the win. It was well played by Llamas, and not that well by varsity. Schedule will appear here faster than a wild rattata in the first grassy areas once I get around to creating it. Looks like no hard game for Nguyens yet, since we'll just statpad on Assassins. Ho ho ho. 6. Get your memes right, random aliased person. Fixed that for you, but only in quoted form. The only thing you can conclude in spaceships is travis' alleged stupidity. No matter which parties are arguing. If only someone could compile a post about the bestest SS memes.
  7. I was at the game, knew the facts, wrote that. I'm not libeling you [sic] as anything but a hypocrite douche, though. Fact is, you talk about your UNNNNNNNNNBELIEVABLE offensive moves like you're ZDX on a never-ending rocket. And then you float backwards and mine, wait for your team to get someone to 700 and engage them with 1500. Maybe it's just a difference between terminology, but that's opportunism, not offence. Or counter-attacking, which ever you prefer. Much like the whole oh-I-don't-care --> AW FUCK YISS PLAYOFF WIN mentality. Also since Unhallowed is so strong, surely you won't make fun of Candyman if/when requiem loses to them? (P.S. Candyman vs. Nacre in Nuke's log is pretty... umm... let's say intense) Anyways I'm trying to figure out how these youtube links are related to the "topic" =)
  8. But in theory Unhallowed's fine roster is not capable of coming to play any Sunday. At least they kinda signed on with the "every now and then" attitude. Maybe that'll change if they can keep up this level of playing, regardless of the fact you didn't have what you consider your top 4 But http://svssubspace.com/index.php?page=4v4Predictions&id=&season=14&round=5 has the predictions 12-1, which usually doesn't indicate a close game. Two people mention scores. When predicting or viewing these things from an outsider perspective, people don't factor in stuff like testing line-ups or sharing play time EDIT: Schedule up, predictions etc. up too
  9. I found this be comical on so many levels. 1) I wasn't even in the game for the majority of it, and 2) just how obsessed you are to say something that stupid without even checking it first. First of all, I'd like to officially congratulate you on behalf of the 4v4 population on finding something that ends with "amirite" comical. That's a pretty good eye you got there, son. Surely your ego can handle these harsh blows. It's not like people don't think you just hang in there running away from enemies, waiting for someone to get them to 600 before you engage from 1500. At least this is what no one at all ever tells me. Either way, it was more to the credit of Unhallowed. Or would you not agree that pretty much everyone expected Sterling to kill them faster and more decisively?

Shocktech had 2 players when their game was due, Requiem wanted to postpone the game to what it would've been without all the clock-sorcery. Turns out that was a worse situation for Shocktech. Sterling took their time defeating Unhallowed. The game was 2-1 until 34:57, even with all of Rage's offense amirite. Well, something like this is to be expected from Unhallowed. With the random chances of their players showing up, they will have a decent, warmed up line-up every now and then. Or Sterling just played bad. Or one squad is much worse than they are given credit for, or the other one is much better. The spec chat doesn't really provide us with more clues either. Llamas gave Nuke too big of a lead early on in their game, and wasted too many repels. 0-4 by 17:28, then 5-7 at 38:22 with Llamas finding their game and/or Nuke getting frustrated and reckless. Carefully studying the spec loc we can deduce the following; Nacre is super proud of his 4-2 5as 6fr 81k/57k 51% AccB statistics. Saiyan's stats are far better at 4-0 5FR, 93k/72k. See, he did not die twice for extra toys, which make a huge difference. Also if you read between the lines, it's easy to see Travis is stupid. FTNguyen vs. Rebels was super silly. It looked slightly worse than an average prac on a Tuesday evening with Partsi and MOOOOSE in the game. Repels were wasted and random suicides were performed. Eventually KN had seen enough, subbed in for his season debut and killed esidebob out at 19:54. Summarized I'd say it was a bunch of bad jerks. (you might have to be a part of the secret SS skype group to get this, or not) Didn't see Gods vs. Assassins. Can't comment on the flow of the game. 27:50, decent length. FRs both ways, seems legit. BE managed 5 FR and 3 assists on 4 kills for Gods. Joe Jr. seems to have picked up all of the four kills SFE got vs. Alpha Reunion, which is basically !norating in disguise. Schedule -- Note the +1 hour thingy, euros. 3pm: Rebels vs. Shocktech -- 112533 Gods vs. StarFire Elite -- 11257 Requiem vs. Sterling -- 112538 4pm: Alpha Reunion vs. FTNguyen -- 112536 Assassins vs. Llamas -- 112539 Nuke vs. Unhallowed -- 112540
  11. Oh yeah, good one. The games are always in "current time". So this would mean every game starts one hour sooner for euros. Europeans fiddle with mickey mouse's hands on the 31st. Then we'll be back to the normal difference.
  12. Matches are on bots and !schedule so you can now go predict on them. Yay. We're probably running 4pm games after any overtime, until we get that 15 minutes overtime that makes us want to change this format again..
  13. Good news! The logs are working, and hallu or underpants even fixed the .css So they look totally awesome now. It’s like having SS chat with you at work. Anyways. Pilot rankings and Squad rankings also work. These things reset each season, which sucks massively, but this season is long. So maybe you wanna… you know… play with those. Anyways 2, the round recap. SFE needs +2 kills on the final standings, since their game was ended with 10-1 score, while it should be 12-1 Sterling needs those losses against Gods and Rebels, since they kinda took over BYE Round. Neither of these actually matters unless there’s a tie for playoffs, though. 3/3 3:37 pm FTNguyen def Gods 12-1 log 3/3 3:32 pm Nuke def Alpha Reunion 12-4 log 3/3 3:22 pm StarFire Elite def Shocktech 10-1 log 3/3 3:05 pm Sterling def Assassins 5-4 log 3/3 3:03 pm Rebels def Llamas 5-4 log 3/3 2:45 pm Requiem def Unhallowed 12-3 log Our game vs. Gods wasn’t exactly high level play. It was krellin’s first day in subspace and he caught some blueberries from Genocide to create pretty tiny spaceship bits. That’s probably the highlight of the log. (Since you cannot see the perfect shots I had placed bouncing around the arena before my “sniped!” commentary) Gods still have a decent roster. If they want to put in some pracs, even if they used to play together, they’ll be ok. We played sloppy and apparently hit double and single digits more than once. The score could’ve been prettier for them. Alpha Reunion seems to have started their game with a 0:00 lagout. One burned player in vs. a squad that everyone expected to win anyways… not the best start. I was not there so I can’t really say if it was a result of some targeting or not, but Xena was out by 10:22. Only one other alpha member had died by that time. Mighty Sven kb Weasal [TEAMKILL] -- Assist by: swamp thing Mighty Sven is OUT! - [12:37] That also happened. Always giggle worthy, even without seeing how it went down. StarFire Elite picked up their first win (yay). Shocktech had someone out in 1:37 with 6 WR, dying at 1:10 for the first time. Apparently they don’t really have proximity bombs in eXtreme Games, so that would be their achilles’ heel. Assassins vs. Sterling was a pro match, in the sense where everyone just kind of sits around poking bombs at each other, looking for an opening. Mop played a full match for probably the first time in a while and looked like his old self. Supporting his team and picking up FRs here and there. Assassins had a one kill lead going into the OT, but Sterling managed to find two people who had no repels left and got the win at the end. The total WR for both teams was 2. The total number of wasted rockets was 4 in the entire match. That’s pretty decent toys used percentage with 9 deaths total and 2 full subs. Rebels vs. Llamas was basically similar to the game described above. Lots of waiting patiently for someone to do something stupid. Went into OT at 4-3 for Rebels, gets to 4-4, but this time the team that was up gets the winning kill. Looks like it was JOCKER who died, so statistically he probably either 1) wall bombed 2) close bombed 3) tried some awfully tricky play that involves him running into 3 enemies eating their bombs while waiting for his team to bomb the enemies. Captor’s stats were substantially higher than everyone else’s with 2-0 5FR and 83k damage. Well, Praetor had 89k damage over at Llamas’ side. Requiem vs. Unhallowed wasn’t as close as many expected. I only saw a few deaths from this game. One of them was Nadai way out of position and making a bad call on some bombs. From the stats it looked like sika just went pewpew and the others kept him more or less alive. Hah. More text than ever, now that I can do this at work. Yay. 14. As seen in 4.4 and 6.0?
  15. In theory, yes. I'll probably be going through the stats of games at work on mondays anyway. Combining that with whatever insight I can obtain from my many many secret chat channels and skype I could still report 2nd hand info. Also I forgot to activate sterling. I'll try again today.
  16. Updated the rules to work for S33. If we ever go back to pyramid (with 12 squads it makes more sense than with 6)(Although I still remember the season with double or single round robin pro and a triple round robin 4 squadl aml being a good season)
  17. Yes. Hmm. Perhaps Sterling is still marked as inactive on the site. I'll fix that once I get home. The rules and ship settings will be fixed at some point too. Hopefully the logs will eventually be fixed too. And the bots start either automatically calling and starting all games, or none at all. Last weekend the bot called Nuke vs. Sterling in 4v4e, while it was in OT elsewhere. There's some fantastic stuff for a statistic disaster there. And like I said before, I need to replace BYE with Sterling in the full schedule picture thingy.

Requiem beat Nuke in a game that saw Nacre getting a quick 0-2 with 3WR while testing the limits of Sika's lag. Nacre was then deathsubbed (full) by Dre, who was later on full subbed by ice2702. This slot was still the first out, but it took Requiem 29 minutes after Nacre subbing out to get there. This was at 8-5 score and only one Requiem player down to last life. Assassins beat Unhallowed 12-6 in a game, which by spec log, was played pretty much 3v4 after Raja subbed out for Death Artist, who then lagged three times. You can read heaps more about AR vs. Gods in Nude's post. But it was pretty intense, then Alpha Reunion won. Llamas eventually pulled off a sloppy victory vs. SFE after being down 2-5. Gold Teeth would then be the one to kind of choke out, wasting 2 ships in less than 2 minutes. Shocktech showed up, but wasted way too many repels to be considered a threat to anyone, really. 13 WR total in a 12-0 game. Although to be fair, we used about half that amount of offensive repels. 22. What he said was pretty much what I was going to have in my schedule/round recap. Which should be posted later today.
  23. Of course I let Dre captain a squad. It's not like he's high voltage. It'd be a dick move to start discriminating against people capping squads just cause they are mentally retarded.
  24. If any of the final scores are correct I'll prize you a burst in a prac*. Goes for anyone who writes predictive posts with actual words in them. *bursts may only be collected when I am around and will not be refunded if you die with it.
