You need two to guarantee you're in there when your match is on. Also you should re-evaluate your life obligations if Subspace is somehow keeping you from your life. -------- I believe we originally landed on pre-set time slots due to captains' attempts at dirty scheduling Squad A wants to play on Sunday at noon, or prefers an earlier time like 2pm. Squad B prefers 3pm, but if they say "3pm plz" they are given 1pm or 2pm as compromise. Thus they say 9pm. Their "match" is now at 4-5 pm. Somehow scheduling this over the span of an entire week, captains checking with their squads to make sure they can show up to whatever they agree with sounds utopistic. But sure, once you convince Plutorus into running the league you can do all that and more Every ref at the moment can load games... but that means the games have to be scheduled in the database. I can schedule them, I believe underlord still could, and in theory hallucination could.

But in order to do this, please ?message Caerbannog+:player x wants to join my squad y .. this from the squad captain, of course. I couldn't find a roster lock date anywhere. We'll be locking players on squads after round 7. And locking all movement after round 10.
  9. 7th was on Outlaws and is now on Critical Ass so he's on the other side of things; his squads only get 1-2 good matches per season too. With every squad in one league, the middle-tier squads have the most exciting games. But we don't really have the squads to split leagues before the playoffs

    I don't have a mother, so there will be games. I joke I joke, I kid I kid, I do have a mother, but 9 council reps out of 10 (yeah we're missing two I think) voted for NO postpone. Which really isn't very surprising, considering how we've been postponing games previously. But the schedule should be up shortly in an other thread

  15. Due to a bot rebellion last weekend, Mop lost his K/D stats and obviously organised two computers with A: drives and DOS 5.0 to ping the server TWICE each, resulting in a full blackout. Anyways, yes, the situation is all sorts of fucked up and it'll probably be easier to not have games today. So... farm on, Nephalem.

It'll most likely be set to 12-1 and !refended at some point, causing some loss of K/D on the players. Along with + or - rating.

  18. If this happens in the tie breaking match of the championship, the match would be replayed from some point before it happened. Or in the even rarer scenario of the game having been 3 vs 4 and then turning back into a 3 vs 3 again we'd have to see if the players feel like playing it again from 3 vs 4 and what would probably be full toys. I can only remember one instance of a partial restart to a game where the toys weren't set to full for all or 0 to all, and that's when we still had mousey tracking items faster than any bot, damn.

  21. Pretty much what Street said. You guys barely played Aquitas and he's a solid player. With the exception of Enforcer and hibachi you guys have 11 active pilots who sign on at least twice a week. That's far more activity than any other squad. It will also prove to be a huge playtime issue for your team on Sundays as well. So good luck with dealing with that drama. Ah but you see, one of the better parts about being on Nguyens is the lack of drama. We're all old and tired, and seen hundreds of games. I haven't seen anyone whine about playtime once. We only ever start asking to play when we're subbing in silly subs or something And my perspective is obviously euro-skewed, if I logged on, I'd see 7th and Aquitas practicing. That means that they seem active. It doesn't matter if they don't necessarily play games. A squad needs active players for the others to prac with to.. well, be a squad. Being on Llamas you should know this from a few seasons back..
  22. Yes. Stats are all empty now, so pick your name for the season wisely. It will remain as such for the remainder or the season. I'll go through the rosters and look for naughty double squadders sometime after the lock. (As in the softest soft lock, Council should hop on the lock rules.. again). Yes, we'll at least be starting with the regular map. 14. Everyone is active. If you've seen me personally address active/inactive it should've been along the lines of "lots of work to check for activity, also very pointless and causes drama". And no ship or general rule changes for starters either.
  23. As in real games. Or so it seems. And it looks like with 12 squads (which we have atm) it would be top 6 pro with BYEs to 1-2, followed by some best of 3 series action. I'll schedule the games on the bot once I clear something with Hallu, and I'll either just steal Three's generated schedule or create one. Huehue.

  25. Oh I'm sure we didn't like losing. But no one made a big deal out of it. Not everyone is as obsessed about the end result as ... well, some people on a "new" squad. IIRC, we just summed up the dumbest deaths / situations in the game and moved on. The recruits could have something to do with some "new" squad recruiting two of our more active players. Don't quote me on that though, I'm barely online enough to show up on Sundays at the moment. Still cool that someone does these. I ran out of things to say about the same 80 people a few seasons ago =)
