Javelin settings have been changed in #caer, 4v4prac4 5 6, 4v4squad1 2 and 3 to comply with what the 4v4 council initially voted on. From: Ship specifics - Javelin:Thrust: 17 without Afterburner, 19 with Afterburner.Rotation: 260Speed: 3500 without Afterburner, 3750 with Afterburner.Guns: 3Bombs: 2 To:Ship specifics - Javelin:Thrust: 18Rotation: 260Speed: 3550Guns: 3Bombs: 2 That's a compromise between what it was changed to previously, the afterburnable "skill" javelin and the insane 3750 speed javelin.See if you can throw that in a prac or two, if it seems killable, immortal or whatever.

S33 Final Results, S34 info -- ROSTERS UNLOCKED
Caerbannog replied to Caerbannog's topic in 4v4 League
Original edited with alpha reunion... what's the big news scoop on ReDS? Returning or not? -
FTNguyen defeat Nuke 2-1 in the most chaotic, strange final series I can think of. I'm sure there have been weird series before, but man oh man. Congratulations anyways. (why thank you) Rosters have been unlocked for editing for Season 34 needs. Captains can post here if they are returning OR joining. -- At the moment the squad roster max is 14, league format undecided, some rules undecided, etc. The 4v4 Council should get working on these. Returning: StarFire Elite -- Solar Hydro Assassins -- Mop, develop Llamas -- Street Fighter Nguyens -- hibachi Alpha Reunion - NFS ? Sterling Joining / name changing, hoho: The Dark - Da_Monkk ?? a squad by Lord Xzibit? a squad by 3d or curtis lee or whoever it was Intrinsic Not returning: Requiem? boo, why not Rebels? unless someone takes over for Ra ReDS ? A1 graph seems to have some errors... SterFire elite -> StarFire elite for aml s26. Kingnewbie's caps for S31. Starfire -> StarFire iml s11

Update! Llamas beat ReDS 2-0 in two overtime games. The games were played... let's say carefully. The first one kicked off with a TK, and ReDS' fullsub wasn't full at all. The first kill in the second one came in late, around 22 minutes. If we ever crowned MVPs for series, I think it'd go over to Psycho Psematic, regardless of being on the losing team. 14 FR, assists here and there, damage, control. FTNguyen and Nuke will finish their 1-1 series this Sunday at 4pm. Unlike the AML finals and careful play, these games were insane. Kill exchanged left and right, lots of WRs, sloppy play in general.
-
Nuke beat Req 7-6 just before the OT. The game was... strange to say the least, Nuke was up a lot, then it was even for a while. Alpha Reunion beat SFE 2-0 for AML bronze, aw yiss. The bot defeated ReDS in the first game of AML finals, granting Llamas the 1-0 lead. So... yeah, that sucks. Plus I thought the subs were in the other slots, so getting Kop back in took a bit longer than it should. Well, SF and Hendrix have settled on playing a minimum of 2 more games with 1-0 up in kills for the third in a race to six, should they tie in the first two. I'll schedule more games as we get there, to prevent any bot auto-calls again. 4v4a - PRO 3pm Nuke vs. FTNguyen -- 119020 4pm Nuke vs. FTNguyen 4v4b - AML 3pm ReDS vs. Llamas -- 119019 4pm ReDS vs. Llamas (5pm race to 6 handicap, if necessary)

Hendrix, did you ever get around to asking ReDS if they'd like to take on Llamas at this date? Nude For Satan was ok with having Alpha Reunion play SFE for AML bronze.
-
ReDS and Llamas both 2-0'd their opponents to move on to the AML finals. FTNguyen defeat Assassins 2-0 and will wait for the winner of Nuke vs. Requiem Aug 4th, 3pm as their series is at 1-1. ReDS and Llamas might or might not play games on the same day. SFE and AR might or might not have a go at bronze. The recap from the round was provided to someone late to the party on a very secret Skype chat group by a member of one of the pro teams. "oh dd you missed the epic gameslet me sum it up for youass/ftn game 1: Dev bad, ass loses 12-3ass/ftn game 2: 7th types !items 1000xs. Alpha Reunion Best & Fairest Count Results*
Caerbannog replied to Nude For Satan's topic in 4v4 League
But since Weasal sabotaged the entire squad by whining and moaning, he should be disqualified. -
Quarter results PRO: 7/21 3:51 pm Assassins def Sterling 12-2 log Quarter results AML: 7/21 3:04 pm Alpha Reunion def Unhallowed 12-6 log 7/21 2:15 pm Nuke def Rebels 12-0 log Assassins had a better line-up than Sterling. Then they won. It was pretty uneventful. Unhallowed vs. Alpha Reunion started about 20 or 25 minutes late, as Alpha chose to wait for Unhallowed to maybe have a fourth player. Death Artist eventually showed up, which was the signal for Unhallowed to start throwing the game. Seriously, they were up until that point while playing 3v4. And Rebels forfeit the game with two players in the arena. All semi-finals are best of 3. Everyone plays on both time slots. If the third game is needed, it'll either be after the first two games or next weekend (up to the squads). I'll schedule (for the bots) the second set of games after the first games. Just to minimize automatic calls. There's still a chance of a bot calling a game automatically, causing annoying things. But that requires a game to go into OT. The downside is that I actually have to schedule the second game before it can be played, which means I have to not be in a game to do it. So if you finish 30 minutes before ftnguyen (and I'm playing) you have to wait 3pm: Nuke vs. Requiem -- 118441 Llamas vs. StarFire Elite -- 118442 ReDS vs. Alpha Reunion -- 118443 Assassins vs. FTNguyen -- 118444 4pm: Nuke vs. Requiem Llamas vs. StarFire Elite ReDS vs. Alpha Reunion Assassins vs. FTNguyen

On the plus side, SFE only wasted four reps. Unhallowed beat BYE Nuke beat FTNguyen after "late" reps resulting in wasted reps at the start of the game got them to a comfortable 4-0 lead. People exploded, game was up to 5-7, then Nuke got 2 players OUT and suddenly it's 5-9 and 4v2 for Nuke. Saiyan was allowed to do pretty much what he wanted to so he beasted up nice stats.. and only got -6 points for dying out 2v4. Asassins beat Rebels 12-0 and I'm pretty sure ossi set the new record for FR at 13. Llamas beat a 3 man Alpha Reunion. Llamas and Rebels are once again the two teams on the PRO/AML cut-off. In theory Llamas could make it, but they need to win and Rebels need to lose for this to happen. If they tie, Rebels make PRO by h2h score. Other than that the splits are clear and if Requiem can defeat alpha reunion, top 2 is set. TOP 2 have a bye into semis, quarters are supposed to be BO1, semis and finals are supposed to be BO3. Sterling failed to not repel after taking damage from Legacy, giving him +6. He's now at 97 forced repels. Also Sterling's players wouldn't properly die from bombs they were repelled into. Scumbags. Either way, both squads can play better. I believe there's a Nacreview video of Nuke vs. Rebels over at twitch.tv/nacre314 but as some of you noticed, their VOD playback isn't exactly top notch. Much like Rebels' subspace play zzzziing. But seriously, they have been coasting lately. Losing by large margins, not practicing, all the bad stuff. Saiyan managed 6-1 and 4 FR in this game. Unhallowed no-showed, this is their 2nd no-show of the season but they are weeks apart. They are against BYE Round so they cannot no-show... so they can only get to 3 no-shows, which keeps them in the playoffs. Assassins beat Requiem, which a few people said looked too easy. This was also streamed, but I'm not sure if there is a VOD of it. Requiem had what should be one of their better line-ups in, Assassins had a strange bunch of people in. And then 12-3. Something is not right. ReDS beat Alpha Reunion (who are now showing a lot of people to every game, which is awesome) 12-1. And Llamas had a BYE. 3pm: Alpha Reunion vs. Llamas -- 117618 Assassins vs. Rebels -- 117619 FTNguyen vs. Nuke -- 117620 4pm: BYE Round vs. Unhallowed -- 117621 Sterling vs. ReDS -- 117622 Requiem vs. StarFire Elite -- 117623

And yes, you are correct, twitch's VOD playback is god awful. It doesn't even buffer properly if you pause it, I watched those videos without issues at work, but the bandwidth here is a lot.

Unhallowed were actually up at 7-6, but the 7-7 kill would OUT! peabrain and turn the tide. Hendrix and sixth did most of the carrying based on stats, 4 kills each and 6+ FR. Sterling vs. Llamas started out somewhat even, Llamas had a good thing going for a while. Then they either wasted repels or otherwise randomly died to Rage. You can find video of this game on Nacre's twitch videos. Nuke had a bye. FTNguyen vs. Requiem, well, find the video. Most of you were already in the arena though. It wasn't as slow as some of Requiem's games, which suited out shitty line-up just fine. Legacy is horrible so he's still 9 FR away from 100 during the (ir)regular season. Make sure to rather waste your repels than give those to him. Rebels vs. Alpha Reunion has Dagger at 8 FR with 3-1 and Ra 5-2. Liar only has two kills, but they are the first two KOs. Assassins only spent 15 minutes defeating SFE 12-4. Mop picked up almost a full minute of play time as well. Again http://www.twitch.tv/nacre314 -> Videos for two match thingies. They then got on their game and by 4-4 Jamuraan was still 2 deaths, while Suspension had hit the critical 3. 4v3 and only 1 death for Llamas after that. GGWP. Hedcase8 was rewarded with 1-0, 4as, 7fr and a mere +13 robot points. Sterling defeated a five man (possibly more) Alpha Reunion 12-3, with Hallowed subbing in and dying in under 2 minutes. Although this was around the 22 minutes mark and AR were already 3v4 at this point. Enforcer is horrible so he ruined the 12-0 for Nuke, making it 12-1. Dingo flew a lancaster, mostly into bombs, but still. Assassins had a more traditional line-up in when they defeated Nguyens. The spec chat is a nice read here, well, sort of. It's way off the actual events, but a fun read regardless. Legacy and 7th provided sins with a 3 kill lead before TVB had time to start killing people. A lot of the deaths were via offensive repels or late repels (for both teams). Including the buzzer beater repkill/laterep. I'm sad to say I missed the epic spectacle the 12-10 Rebels vs. SFE must've been. For SFE the stats that stand out are Dutch and INRI with 4+ AS and FR each. Hello I have a huge fan and a case full of brown substance. This is one of the times I like to make them meet. Due to a lucky loophole in the rules (under section 7), Gods' players (and shocktech) are still free to join other squads. Kind of indefinitely, but traditionally (probably not mentioned in any rules) before playoffs. All you have to do is find a squad willing to take you, and with room on the roster, since no one can be removed. Looking at the rosters, the squads with less than 14 players are FTNguyen, Llamas, Nuke and ReDS. (also around the same rules, it is stated that squadless people cannot be added, so stop pestering me =( ) ((even if the rules are sorta shitty))

Then it got slower. Regardless, the game did see a leviathan, spider and a weasel. The game was close and 6-6 at 37:37, moments later it was 7-6 for Sterling with 3:30ish remaining. Requiem made their move to even it up and ended up losing another one. I was told by a reliable source that regardless of the statistics, Motorzep was a lot better than pseudo.* ReDS beat Rebels, and did so quite convincingly. At least as far as the score goes. Rebels lost their first slot at 4-2 score 22:52 into the game. Ra, being the jerk that he is, still kept killing people keeping the score... well.. not much closer at all since one is a team kill. 8-3 for ReDS and Rebels are 4v2. SFE was up against BYE.. Assassins and Llamas were tied at 3-3 with the deaths spread evenly too, but then sins got the upper hand, shutting down Llamas for the remainder of the game. Looks like Llamas wasted a couple of repels here and there again as well. Nuke deafeated Unhallowed 12-0... but unlike the game boxscore suggests, Rajatapaus did not die five times. It was restarted due to some technical difficulties, and things like this is the end result. FTNguyen's game vs. Alpha Reunion was quite chaotic, yeah, shocking. Many bombs were lobbed and bounced off walls. Then we shot at people. Maybe it was better for Rebels. Assassins surprisingly won over BYE Round. Llamas vs. Nuke was actually tied at 3-3 for a good while with blink at 2 deaths. He was subbed by Enforcer, but still, 3-3 and tied. Still, Llamas ended up having the first 2 players out. Maybe saiyan, Nacre and Grifter's combined 18 FR and 9 kills had something to do with that. Especially when it's been going on with Alpha Reunion too. Now then, we get to the other issues related to this. Grace period for Gods' players to move? Gods to be allowed back in randomly if they can show under the "anything is better than a BYE" clause? If they need a few more players to show.. where do they get them from? No one is allowed to move, at least in theory. Gods and AR were about to merge at some point. I cannot enforce this, plus it'd be quite the trickshot past the rules. Also it would still leave us with a BYE Round. We'll just have to see I'll probably get back to this topic later. I don't remember attacking ReDS. Well besides stating the obvious facts about having !norating's laggy roster (in a prac with sixth, Smackdown and whoever). And I have to point out that the council knows about this, since Weasal mentioned it in-game. Well, I don't have to, but I did. I'm a jerk like that.
-
See, that's where you're wrong. The 4v4 council, who will run the next season (hopefully), was made aware of this issue and two other roster issues a while ago. "Everyone" agreed that eleven weeks is plenty of time to actually figure out whether your squad is active or not. The roster locks are there for a reason. The time when it happens and who it affects is always a hot topic, though. The season length Rage referred to wasn't planned. Had I known we have 12 (more or less) squads, I would've either ran it as a pyramid or split leagues. The long season does give the council a bit of time to, well, work. So it all kind of works out. It turned out this way since squads formed after the league started. Maybe I should've just not let them join the league and listen to you whine on how I keep players who want to play from playing?
-
Damn son, you were so close to knowing the rules. You keep trying to tell me, yourself or via El Father, how Alpha Reunion has no will to play or show up. Meanwhile Pryde just wants to play and Nude for Satan is trying to contact the rest of your squad to actually show up. You, however, show up to games but refuse to play. Even if AR eventually folds, I won't let you join any other squad under a recently added rule #35 of being an utter dick.
