  1. 1a) The highest DDPM stat prior to round 11. Correct answer: Riverside with 2518 damage done per minute vs. 1 game against SFE. 1b) The highest DDPM stat prior to round 11 and at least 5 games played. Correct answer: MfA from StarFire Elite at 1950 per minute. Runner up is TVB with 1922. I probably don't need to point out the differences of the players and their squads here.. 2a) The highest DTPM stat prior to round 11. MOST DAMAGE TAKEN Correct answer:Plutorus with an impressive 2502 damage per minute 2b) The highest DTPM stat prior to round 11 and at least 5 games played. Correct answer: Psyanide at 2121 damage taken per minute with exactly 5 losses. 3a) The lowest DTPM stat prior to round 11. LEAST DAMAGE TAKEN Correct answer: Da Monkk with exactly no damage taken at all. hibachi is a "close" second with a kill on his record of 1 game won with 273 taken. 3b) The lowest DTPM stat prior to round 11 and at least 5 games played. Correct answer: Yours truly at 941 taken per minute and whatever running anti-warp drains over 8 games )) mAImER is my closest rival with 990 taken with 5 games. Hooray for stats.
  2. You guys have a total of 3 correct answers.
  3. Well that's not a bad thing, 7th Bada. But yeah, RaDaR's players will have to contain their excitement for quite some time. 5 rounds + 4? round playoffs go to. I think we were originally supposed to finish before the holiday season, and we still might. So the next season should be somewhere in January 2013. Maybe the old The Dark players who found new homes will challenge you.
  4. 1 person and not many correct answers, hah!
  5. I'm not quite sure who had the domain svszone.com or whatever it was, but at the moment (parts of) the site is running on something that belongs to Simon. For some reason the current running version would not ever communicate with any of the new hosts or whatever for when someone else tried to keep the domain alive. Plus there are some wacky requirements in regard to the zone running on the same server as the bots to prevent multiple issues. Or something. Not quite sure, I only work here..
  6. Round 10 Results: 10/14 4:08 pm Rebels def Assassins 10-7 log 10/14 2:59 pm Llamas def Thor 12-7 log 10/14 2:29 pm FTNguyen def StarFire Elite 12-0 log Rebels managed to defeat Assassins 10-7 in a strange game. Rebels got the early 1-0 lead at 2:14, then killed Arc twice at 6:09 and 6:53. Nacre subbed in, but since he is a legend he died out at 12:04 for no apparent reason. The score was 12:04 at that point. A bit later develop subbed in, trying to turn the tide. He burned 3 lives in under 7 miuntes, and Ass only got 1 kill during that time frame. So we get to 27:31 and 3-9 2v4. Then Kdak and Saiyan kill 4 people before time runs out, dying once. Pseudo and Clapton played full time, finishing 4-1 and 3-1 with 4FR each. In other news, Llamas beat Thor for their second win of the season. Llamas only wasted 3 repels total, which I still suspect is related. SF won the MVP by bots with 4-2 and 5FR 3AS, while Babaloo finished 1-1 6FR 4AS (and the first KO, solo). Candy valiantly ran away as much as humanly possible and finished with +5 rating. FTNguyen used silly ships vs. SFE and won 12-0 with Leg and 7th having the silliest ships of them all, and thus getting 5-0 and 4-0. Unlike their recent win over Rebels? SFE wasted 11 repels total here. --- Rosters are now locked. --- Standings after R 10/15: 1 FTNguyen 10-0 88 0.467 2 Assassins 6-4 21 0.493 3 Thor 6-4 13 0.493 4 Rebels 5-5 -1 0.5 5 Llamas 2-8 -47 0.52 6 StarFire Elite 1-9 -74 0.527 As random reader interaction we'll have trivia / guessing game / know your spaceships, mangdawg game. 7. There are *ufo and *super, which if granted by a sysop make your ship quite the god mode. But the settings for those are what they are iirc and you can't add more *commands. If there were no greens, you could start from garbage ships and ?buy stats etc. I assume this is what hyperspace does. Or use ASSS modules as extra parts for their ship via movin .lvz files. It takes all kinds of cunning trickery to bend ss out of shape.
  8. Round 9 Results: 10/7 3:59 pm Assassins def Thor 6-5 log 10/7 3:44 pm Llamas def StarFire Elite 12-8 log 10/7 2:40 pm FTNguyen def Rebels 12-3 log Assassins kind of let Thor do their thing of flying backwards, lobbing multibullet. So the game was mostly very slow, with a few faster kills. Jake at least repelled swamp to a bomb he missed with, while both were moving at about rocket speed already. oss seems to have done the grunt work with his 2-0 6FR. Llamas got their first win of the season after showing up with a gazilliontrillion players and using 5 of them. Something Clutch put up a fight until the very end getting a kill 4v1. Rebels once again had less than an optimal show-up, and lost 12-3. My 4-0 1FR reigns superior, although the robot prefers KN's 3-1 with 3AS 5FR (23 to 12 rating). Dagger's spider was the first out, after which the game was obviously 4v3 and the x-radar advantage was gone. 7th countered the spider with a terrier, which btw does not have free x. Game wise it was a pretty solid match. Oh, I believe I curved a bomb by two repels right up the ass of pseudo. --- ROSTERLOCK IS BEFORE ROUND 10, including players who haven't played. 11. You have this round and the week after it to fiddle with your roster. Round 8 Results: 9/23 3:57 pm FTNguyen def Assassins 12-3 log 9/23 3:09 pm Rebels def Llamas 12-5 log 9/23 2:39 pm Thor def StarFire Elite 12-5 log Thor showed about a trillion people to their match vs. FTNguyen but only used five of them. They also pretty much wasted more repels this game than they've done up to this point in the season total. And that's after the combined 15FR from Nguyens (Leg 5, Caer 5). KN focused on kills and finishe 6-2 4 solo kills, 3 as, 3 FR 2 WR (100% of nguyens' wasted repels). The game itself started real slow and kept on going slow. Everything probably didn't go as planned for Llamas when Pension was the first to die... then the second to die.. and also the third to die. Either precision targetting by Assassins or something else. Pension also racked up 5 WR in those so.. who knows. The log has this line: Pension> appeal for afk kill in the beginning Rebels beat SFE 12-6 with Captor's 5/1, 5 AS, 7FR performance. Ex-Starfir Riverside 0-1'd trying to throw the game for rebels, but still had 5 FR. Gold teeth for SFE ended a mere 1-3 but with 7 FR, while MfA managed to land another 14 mines on his enemies and dealth the second most overall damage in the game at 49k with only Captor ahead of him at 51k. A wild Mauler also appeared, but wasn't super-effective. Random league related stats: We're up to 71 players having played during the season. 1 player has 100% first out rate. Out of those players, 17 players have something other than 0% for First Out. The website/bot thinks the formula is 0-3 or 1-3 in <10 minutes, but I'm not sure if that applies. --- ROSTERLOCK IS BEFORE ROUND 10, including players who haven't played. Including a kill via portaling on a bomb that therefore closebombs (kn on Nacre). Nacre lagged out his toys on hit first life, which then sort of set the pace. Nacre forced 6 repels, bhang waster 5. Yeah, five. KN played for 32 minutes and ended up 6-1 2FR. Legacy ended with 1-1 5AS 7FR in 36:15. Rebels vs. Llamas wasn't very exciting, BARBARIAN finished 5-1 4FR, pseudo 3-2 7FR, Da Monkk played for almost two minutes. Thor beat SFE 12-5 in a rather uneventful match based on the log. Dre was obviously the one to explode into tiny spaceship bits, and in despair develop recruited Jake shortly after the match (that's Rage). Llamas pulled another classic "full"sub vs. FTNGuyen, subbing a 0/2 player with a burned player. Well, cfl lagged to spec a bit after that anyways so he would've been burned. Other than that, Llamas were up 2-1 with DarkDenizen dead twice. DD was eventually subbed by mAImER, who went 4-0 and was subbed by a certain killer bunny who went 1-0 and 100% DmgE. Hah. 7th did all the grunt work with full 30:55 gametime, 2/2 6FR. Thor previously beat Rebels 12-2. This time The game went into OT at 5-4, and Thor then took it home 6-4. Rebels' line-up, while quite standard, didn't seem to work. Barbarian died twice between 16:45 and 19:02 and wasted two repels, which probably had something to do with the score as well. --- ROSTERLOCK IS BEFORE ROUND 10, including players who haven't played. The highlight of the game was when Develop subbed in for Dre develop in for Dre [Full Sub] [Time: 00:04] [3 lives] Candyman> oh Candyman> benched clerisy> yea ;p develop> dre did good Candyman> dre clerisy> yes he did Kane> !stats ossi kb Psycho Psematic -- Assist by: Dagger ossi has 2 lives remaining - [22:57] Score: 2-0 Rebels -- [4v4] Dre> still dumb sub I mean, you just can't write comedy like that. Thor beat Llamas 12-6 in a pretty standard game with no stats that really stand out. I kid, I kid. There's no way r has ever gotten or will ever get 9 kills before/again. 9-3 (cheating for kills via extra toys, ezpzingzong) and 5FR. Llamas look a bit lost, getting their players in minutes before the game, just.. showing up for the sake of showing up. Better than nothing, of course. FTNGuyen vs. SFE wasn't very exciting at a 12-3 with all sorts of stupid ships on Nguyens. MfA did reach 10 mines again. He's going to win most mines in the league by far without fedu challenging him for it. Random extra statistic: 53 pilots have seen playtime this season so far. 18. Nice try, chump-leader.
  19. Why do you assume that was a negative statement? It's the correct thing to do while going for a win. And you can do game recaps, but you'd have to be in the arena and ?log it, or use !game which you can get from !results ftnguyen But better than that, and less work, is to do predictions
  20. From Sue E. Side I have a question. Why do so many of the regulars avoid conflict? I would understand it if these people were going for kill/death ratio... but they aren't. They really, really aren't.
  21. Round 4 Results: 9/2 4:05 pm Thor def Assassins 7-5 log 9/2 3:55 pm StarFire Elite def Llamas 12-8 log 9/2 2:51 pm FTNguyen def Rebels 12-4 log Ok reverse order... FTNguyen vs. Rebels was rather chaotic. FTNguyen used two subs, Rebels used one. Other than that, 7th saga wasted three repels in two deaths, Rebels wasted 8 total. TVB seems to have racked up most of the stats at 4-1 4AS, 3FR. Then for the more exciting results. StarFire Elite won a game. Yes. They did, and they only wasted two repels. There seems to be a correlation there. In 33 minutes 47 seconds of gametime MfA managed to force 7 repels... and use 21 mines. And Thor defeated Assassins 7-5. I'm not sure how long it has been since Mop, ossi and bhang last played, but they didn't look to be in the best form. These squads' second and third games should be fun, since many harsh words were used in the chats after the game. Somehow Candy was 0-2 by 2-1 score, but when he is OUT! the game is 7-5 for Thor at 40:08. And then they just ran. Thor also failed their fullsub command use an wasted 8 repels total. Legacy and TVB both got 4-1. Assassins beat Llamas with a 6 kill margin, which also is the amount of kills on develop alone. He also had 7 FR. Something must've gone wrong there. Also he lamed it all in a weasel. Pension got 2/3 and 6FR while looking at everyone jump around (his ISP uses the same route as mine, I think, and it was super laggy). StarFire Elite killed out Jones. But that was at 11-4 score so it didn't help much. Regardless Psycho Psematic was spotted saying Jones would be permanently benched from now on. Assassins showed 4, 2 of whom managed to die by 11 seconds in. Apparently the bot did not warp them, they flew at us, shot bombs, and typed. Then died. FTNGuyen in the meanwhile showed about 6 and used 5. 7th Saga seems to have racked up 7 kills. Thief. I did not see the other two matches and did not get any spy reports from them. Llamas seem to have used two subs, which is good. They also wasted about 6 repels total, which isn't. Barbarian managed 7fr and a 2-2 for a whoppin +8 robot rating. Thor seems to have finished SFE in 8:53. So it was probably not the best game they can play. 3 lobbed in a leviathan for 6fr, 88k damage in 30:52. Thavage picked up six kills in his official return to league. FTNguyen vs. Llamas wasn't very exciting either. About 16 minutes total and the kills were split 2/3/3/3 and a tk for Nguyens. The man with one nut replaced GRAMPS' weasel with his own. Assassins left nothing to chance when they subbed Dre out in a 4v2 situation at 7:36. Then they won 12-1. This is what the spectators had to say: DarkDenizen> blink bad...only death for assys DarkDenizen> too much diablo 3 blink> haha DarkDenizen> need more resistance to bombs Schedule for Round 2 3pm: StarFire Elite vs. Thor Llamas vs. Rebels 4pm: FTNGuyen vs. Assassins
