Round 8 Results: 4/1 4:02 pm MiS def Rebels 11-6 log 4/1 2:39 pm FTNguyen def Llamas 12-5 log 4/1 2:22 pm Assassins def StarFire Elite 12-0 log MiS vs. Rebels was a umm... tough/tight/even game. It wasn't the pinnacle of subspace combat, but the game was close so the players in should've enjoyed it. Captor ended up with 9FR, BARBARIAN got the MVP on bots for 4-3 with 7FR and 2WR and a TKO on Ra. Ra (-3) (OUT) BARBARIAN (-1) Jinxi 6-6 (OUT) 39:07 12. That kill, not surprisingly, swung the game in MiS' favor. FTNGuyen vs. Llamas was another sloppy game by both teams. Freebies were given both ways, although Llamas wasted way more repels. FTNGuyen picked up that faggot Rambo and his friend Hawkeye, and had both start. One of them finished 3-1 7FR, the other 1-1 4FR. And finally, I think Assassins beat their previous time, and finished SFE in 7:33. I suspect some lagging was done, since SFE have about 12 WR total. Standings R8/12: 1 FTNguyen 8-0 63 0.526 2 Assassins 6-2 39 0.5 3 MiS 5-3 27 0.549 4 Rebels 5-3 21 0.553 5 Llamas 3-5 -7 0.564 6 Sterling 2-3 -13 0.618 7 StarFire Elite 1-7 -40 0.537 8 Renegade 1-5 -54 0.525 9 BYE Round 0-3 -36 0.38 Schedule for Round 9: 3pm: StarFire Elite vs. MiS Llamas vs. Rebels 4pm: FTNGuyen vs. Assassins

Jinxi forced 9 repels. Candyman is mad at pez. Standings, R7/12: 1 FTNguyen 7-0 56 0.54 2 Assassins 5-2 27 0.54 3 Rebels 5-2 26 0.547 4 MiS 4-3 22 0.54 5 Llamas 3-4 0 0.515 6 Sterling 2-3 -13 0.615 7 StarFire Elite 1-6 -28 0.515 8 Renegade 1-5 -54 0.515 9 BYE Round 0-3 -36 0.398 Schedule for Round 8: 3pm: Assassins vs. StarFire Elite FTNGuyen vs. Llamas 4pm: Rebels vs. MiS

The Results: 3/18 3:46 pm Assassins def Llamas 12-3 log 3/18 3:17 pm MiS def Renegade 12-0 log 3/18 2:54 pm FTNguyen def Rebels 12-5 log 3/18 2:05 pm StarFire Elite def BYE Round 12-0 log Assassins played Llamas for about 17 minutes, by which time Llamas had 2 slots on the last life. Somewhere around the 20 minute mark Sika subbed in and Llamas proceeded to gift him for 6 kills. Renegade no-showed, while MiS were sitting tight in the game arena, thinking I was on some secret conspiracy of one to make it a double no-show if they left it after I had seem them there. By this no-show, Renegade is axed from league. Which means I'll redo the second part of the schedule with 6 teams to not have bye weeks (since Sterling and Renegade are both out). 6 teams means straight semi-finals for squads 1 and 2, quarters for the rest. Since Subspace and most other games will die on May 15th, Semis will also be best of 3. (although it will already be past May 15 by the time) FTNGuyen vs. Rebels was a rather good game until Masterlord died twice in less than 2 minutes (OUT!), having wasted 3 repels total. I don't even think we used offensive repels for those kills. The highlight of the game was when BARBARIAN decided it would be hilarious to spec when dying. I was so entertained I banned him for a week. SFE dominated BYE Round with their superior strategies. Standings R6/12: 1 FTNguyen 6-0 49 0.568 2 MiS 4-2 28 0.501 3 Assassins 4-2 21 0.501 4 Rebels 4-2 14 0.564 5 Llamas 2-4 -12 0.524 6 Sterling 2-3 -13 0.601 7 StarFire Elite 1-5 -21 0.432 8 Renegade 1-5 -54 0.495 9 BYE Round 0-1 -12 0.133 3pm: Rebels vs. BYE Round FTNGuyen vs. StarFire Elite 4pm: Llamas vs. BYE Round Assassins vs. MiS

The Results: 3/11 4:26 pm Llamas def StarFire Elite 12-3 log 3/11 4:00 pm FTNguyen def MiS 12-9 log 3/11 2:18 pm Rebels def Sterling 12-0 log 3/11 2:18 pm Assassins def Renegade 12-0 log Sterling no-showed and officially dissolved. Feel free to steal their players if you have room. Rule for having room: Players on your roster without a game played can be removed to be replaced by players on Sterling. Llamas beat SFE in a game where Street Fighter got a kill! Well, three, really. Boosting his stats up to 3-7 over 4 games, ouch I didn't really see the game so I cannot comment on how it went apart from that. Renegade no-showed, which makes it their 2nd no-show over all. Two more and they are out too. Then I'll re-do the schedule for squads not to have byes in the second round robin thingy phase. FTNGuyen vs. MiS was closer than some people and a bunny might've thought. Realdeal decided to show-up, forced 5 repels and went 1-1 before being subbed by hibachi at 27:31. A few minutes after that GRAMPS died out, making it 6-7 in favor of MiS and 3v4. pez, that traitor, was carrying Jinxi, Captor and Candy, ultimately finishing 7-3. With assistance from TVB he also TKO'd Jinxi at 37:00. Candyman and Captor followed at 39:32 and 41:20, TVB gifted pez one final time making it 1v2, until pez was pewpew'd down. (incorrect*) Standings after R5/14 or close to 14: 1 FTNguyen 5-0 42 0.54 2 Rebels 4-1 21 0.473 3 MiS 3-2 16 0.537 4 Assassins 3-2 12 0.497 5 Llamas 2-3 -3 0.49 6 Sterling 2-3 -13 0.597 7 Renegade 1-4 -42 0.44 8 StarFire Elite 0-5 -33 0.427 *all games against Sterling should be 12-0 wins, since that's what the BYE rounds will be. Schedule for Round 6, in EDT, which is the current summery time of the east cost of the US - Europe follows around the 25th: 3pm: SFE vs. BYE Round -- 104138 FTNGuyen vs. Rebels -- 104139 4pm: Renegade vs. MiS -- 104140 Llamas vs. Assassins -- 104141

The Results: 3/4 3:57 pm FTNguyen def Assassins 12-6 log 3/4 3:31 pm Rebels def StarFire Elite 12-8 log 3/4 2:58 pm MiS def Llamas 12-6 log 3/4 2:29 pm Sterling def Renegade 12-0 log FTNGuyen vs. Assassins was a rather fast paced game for what might be the top-tier match. Sika wasted 4 repels, while getting targetted at the start. GRAMPS failed to get a kill, but did get an assist on ossi's TKO on Mop. Rebels seem to have taken down SFE 12-8. This must've been a game suitable for ZDeathX, since it has 20 total kills and lasted 15:45. Something Dutch MVP'd it all with ease on 5-3 7FR and +23 robotpoints. MiS beat Llamas 12-6 after failing a fullsub on Megaman, but after some phone calls or just the swedes' gaydar Pry showed up and fullsubbed the sub. Then finished 3-0. Sterling showed 3, Renegade showed 2. 12-0. Standings 4/14: 1 FTNguyen 4-0 39 0.521 2 MiS 3-1 19 0.458 3 Rebels 3-1 9 0.451 4 Assassins 2-2 0 0.556 5 Sterling 2-2 -1 0.597 6 Llamas 1-3 -12 0.583 7 Renegade 1-3 -30 0.41 8 StarFire Elite 0-4 -24 0.424 Schedule for Round 5: 3pm: Assassins vs. Renegade Rebels vs. Sterling 4pm: Llamas vs. StarFire Elite FTNGuyen vs. MiS

Change to the above; Existing players only means players who have actually played in a game. So if you played for a squad, you are with them. If you did not play for a squad, you will be considered squadless, since the off-season was way too long. Also why does this forum put red squiggly under squadless, it looks like a proper word.
-
You cannot "take" a technical victory, sir. The games are announced at 3 and 4ish pm. Then the 10 minute timer for squads to show up kicks in. Then the games are !started, if both teams have 2+ players and want to play it.

The Results: 2/26 3:37 pm MiS def StarFire Elite 12-5 log 2/26 3:18 pm FTNguyen def Sterling 12-0 log 2/26 2:49 pm Assassins def Rebels 12-5 log 2/26 2:39 pm Llamas def Renegade 12-3 log MiS vs. SFE didn't offer many surprises, except the return of Megaman. SFE held their own, the first out was at 6-4 score, then it was downhill from there. Captor ended up 4-1, still losing the MVP race to Arctos by a single robo-point. Sterling showed 2 and called it a forfeit. Assassins steamrolled Rebels after starting the game 3v3, although they had more than 4. Looks like this only lasted for about a minute until Riverside showed up for Rebels. With that preparation I'd say 12-5 is a decent score. Llamas defeat Renegade in a rather uneventful 12-3 fashion. Hedcase8 used a rocket, which was the highlight of the game. Now, there IS such a thing as maximum no-shows for squads, and this was the second week in a row Sterling no-showed. It's much better to just give people a BYE round than to have them show up not to play. Rosters for players on rosters will be locked prior to Round 4. If you are on a squad at round 4, you will finish this season on that squad. Standings after R3/14: 1 FTNguyen 3-0 33 0.537 2 MiS 2-1 13 0.426 3 Assassins 2-1 6 0.426 4 Rebels 2-1 5 0.593 5 Llamas 1-2 -6 0.611 6 Sterling 1-2 -13 0.685 7 Renegade 1-2 -18 0.389 8 StarFire Elite 0-3 -20 0.333 Schedule for Round 4: 3pm: Renegade vs. Sterling Llamas vs. MiS 4pm: FTNGuyen vs. Assassins StarFire Elite vs. Rebels

Sika ended up with 6-1 9FR, as if anyone cares. More importantly, there was a kill at 0:00. Apparently all 4 asses were on top of MfA at game start. Don't forget that both firing before go and flying at your enemies to this degree are not allowed. Sterling no-showed. Rebels beat Llamas 12-6 in a game that was tight for a good while, like most Llamas vs. Rebels games. These squads have been duking it out like it's 1998 for years now. Renegade no-showed. Standings after R2/14: 1 FTNguyen 2-0 21 0.583 2 Rebels 2-0 12 0.667 3 MiS 1-1 6 0.833 4 Assassins 1-1 -1 0.083 5 Sterling 1-1 -1 0.5 6 Renegade 1-1 -9 0.417 7 StarFire Elite 0-2 -13 0.083 8 Llamas 0-2 -15 0.833 Schedule for Round 3: 3pm: Renegade vs. Llamas Assassins vs. Rebels 4pm: StarFire Elite vs. MiS FTNguyen vs. Sterling

Rosters are now "soft-locked", meaning you can only add players on days that aren't Sundays. You do this by somehow messaging me with both the player's and the captain's approval. I suggest this forum for such activities. Name changes are not allowed, like most of you know. The rosters will be locked for existing players (no squadhopping) before round 4. New players that are not on a squad can join up to round 10. The no Sunday rule will be bent for squads who changed their name, like FTNGuyen to roster a guy previously on their roster who didn't tell what name they want yet. And squads like Renegade and MiS, who might not have had the opportunity to get their people together yet.

You can click them all you want, they don't mind

o rly? That is mighty strange. And no, I don't have anyone in mind.

The Results: 2/12 3:48 pm Rebels def MiS 12-6 log 2/12 3:31 pm FTNguyen def Llamas 12-3 log 2/12 2:48 pm Renegade def StarFire Elite 12-9 log 2/12 2:29 pm Sterling def Assassins 12-1 log Rebels managed to kill Hellsbane out by 4-4 score at 13:41, then their few years of experience took care of the rest pretty casually. Pog still managed to waste 4 WRs. FTNGuyen vs. Llamas didn't really look much like a match, the 15 year off-season must've gotten to some people. So very shaky all over the place, horrible judgment calls. Now the highlight of the round, Renegade debuted in league and actually beat StarFire Elite. The 12-9 game was exciting and provided many LULs and LOLs. What's more, Renegade only wasted one repel in those 9 deaths. Their constant rep kill attempts might help here, but hey, even that is more productive than dying with repels. Sterling vs. Assassins was an intense 2v2 combat between pseudo&vars and Enforcer&bhang. It finished 6-1 and the other 6 lives were converted. Thus leaving us with the following standings. Standings after R1/14: 1 Sterling 1-0 11 0 2 FTNguyen 1-0 9 0 3 Rebels 1-0 6 0 4 Renegade 1-0 3 0 5 StarFire Elite 0-1 -3 0 6 MiS 0-1 -6 0 7 Llamas 0-1 -9 0 8 Assassins 0-1 -11 0 ------ The Dark is still asking around seeing if they maybe possibly want to participate. If they do want to join as a team, we can fit a ninth squad to the schedule by having one squad a week play double matches. This way no one still gets a BYE, and I don't have to do the entire schedule again. The schedule for next weekend 3pm: Renegade vs. FTNguyen Llamas vs. Rebels 4pm: StarFire Elite vs. Assassins Sterling vs. MiS The rosters are still unlocked as people are "trapped" in draft squads and older squads. You can remove yourself from any squad by logging on with the name stuck somewhere and !removeplayer squadyouarestuckin:%selfname

Screw uStream, if at all possible, use own3d.tv or twitch.tv. Both of those sites are gaming oriented, your channel with its 3 viewers from SubSpace and 3 people who click the wrong link might get the word out there. Then whatever horrible non Chaos/4v4 zone you represent might get some players With much <3, your favourite dic(k)tator, Caerbannog

Here's the schedule for Season 31 Round 1. This Sunday. 3pm: Sterling vs. Assassins Renegade vs. StarFire Elite 4pm: FTNGuyen vs. Llamas Rebels vs. MiS
-
Season 31 will start this Sunday, the 12th. The actual 3+4 pm split will be posted shortly. Rosters will be "soft-locked" on Sunday. After that time, you may move around squads' rosters but it will take a moderator to complete the move. Both the player and receiving captain must ok the move. No moves on Sundays. The season will be a hefty 14 weeks, and then everyone makes playoffs. I'm thinking we could even do something crazy like split it top 2 byes, next 4 quarters for pro, bottom 2 duke it out for AML championship in a best of.. I dunno, seven. To make their series last as long as pro action anyways. Or in case of drop outs, just X for pro. P.S. A1 graphics for Sterling coming soon P.P.S. There's a 2v2 tournament on the 11th.

Wait what, I'm supposed to add a squad called RG! ? and roster these people?
-
Upgraded Made in Sweden to Made in Scandinavia per Arctos' request.
-
The oldie old names from pre-retail would probably maybe not have low IDs, as they were reset when the billing was reset on the switch over to the iNET era. This was in 1998, don't have the exact date but I can get it to you pretty much down to the minute as I can just ?usage it out of the name with ID 8, ho ho ho. Baudchaser, BD Vine, Mrs Perkins, Fiery, Anna-Puma, and the other guys from Langoliers / RAF / Warzone administration would have low IDs.
-
Rosters are unlocked and copied over to the new season. There will be no pre-season. We will run a double round robin with no draft squads. Made in Sweden is known on the bots as Made in Swede because apparently there's a max length for a squadname. Arctos has captain on the roster of made in swede Due to the no pre-season stuff, I'll let some roster moves slide during the first couple of rounds, provided some conditions I will make up on the spot apply (like not having played for a squad a week before and then claiming you were unaware of the season start). --- EDIT: Nguyens are still on as Nguyens, I'll change the name before we play a game.
-
Ok who wants to win this with me?
-
Added in start date, if we only have a few squads, we'll run double or triple round robin. It worked for AML a few seasons ago, one of the better AML seasons ever, but that was due to the fact that the squads in the multi-round robin were kind of on par with each other. I'll try to get to current rosters moved over to a new season number and unlock them soon.
