Apart from the names changing owners, sure. You and Psycho Psematic should arrange a date for a best of 3 grudge fight and each one gets to recruit whoever they can to fight for them.

I guess you actually play enough to actually need a safezone every now and then. Most people come and go in chaos public in such short cycles that they have no use for a safezone, and thus probably don't like safe-running newbies as much. If the arena size (doors) were dynamic, you could use those to block access to safezones, leaving only one or so available for low pop. -

It doesn't go straight K/D after your W/L is tied. From the rules: 4.1 -- More on scheduling Repeat match-up count is max 3, gap is 2 weeks. Playoff tie-breakers work like they did last season, all squads at a tied W/L will be compared head-to-head, then hth kd, then games played vs. tied-and-above teams (easy-to-see SOS).

What a ridiculous hypothesis. Either way, 4v4 league is in need of help. Mostly from the people currently in it, or currently slowly fading out of it (cough Sterling cough). A few extra refs would be helpful. And people generally paying attention instead of not knowing about the 2v2 tournament next saturday after we've been spamming it for weeks, and it's in news.txt

The last time we even attempted a draft we couldn't even find captains. I reckon we were just going to have them pick one player at a time from the current league player pool, then tell the players that such a league is happening. But seriously, if you manage to waste your top picks on players who won't show up, it kinda sucks. It'd be cool if we could somehow have people show up at the same time and run it right there and then. We have a total of 6 signed up pilots even for the 2v2 tournament that people are always asking for.

Read the rules. I'm not supposed to mod anything. I am taking input, but there is none, or very little. If I was not paying attention, I probably wouldn't waste my time replying to your posts where you intentionally misread things and fail at logic. Surrey not being able to ban you = he does not have the power to Surrey would not ban anyone based on what happened = even if he did, he would not have banned anyone. Those two statements do not contradict each other, since they don't even deal with the same issue. As for what mindriot said; I've been asking for volunteer staff members for a long time. From the few people who volunteered, I let Jaku join. The other two people who have expressed any interest have been varsity and Dre. I don't count either one as a viable candidate, I don't want to get into staff drama where I need to fire/ban someone for doing something stupid with their powers.

I'm sorry, where's the contradiction? And none of the "accusations" are incorrect. People ?cheater you a lot when you fly into a 2v2 box pretending to not know there was a practice about to take place. And while acting stupid is subjective, someone had ?messaged me about this incident asking for me to ban you since you're annoying and frustrating and whatnot. Now, it should be obvious that I'm not going to start people for being annoying, everyone should understand that this is not a very solid plan of action. And yes, spending time on saving league sounds fantastic. As soon as someone tells me how to do this.

I was referring to how people constantly ?cheater you for interrupting 2v2 pracs that or you generally acting stupid. As for what makes Surrey's thoughts on banning anyone based on what happened: "Surrey on the other hand was threatening to ban me in that game for no reason other than he doesn't like me apparently because we beat his squad earlier this year in a game he LVPed. Ever since then he can't stop typing to me in any game we are both in. His comments were that "7 people have complained to me that you should be banned" are a little hard to believe considering there was nothing I did illegal nor 7 other people in the arena in spec. I don't understand what the criteria are for having mod powers, considering that people like Surrey are clearly not emotionally stable enough to handle their own selves, much less have discretionary powers over other people... " Your judgment could be a bit off there.

I've read the prac logs that we're dealing with here. Surrey did not threaten to ban you. Also at this point that would make no difference, since he has as much access to any bans as you do. The seven people part, well, I don't know about the exact number but your shenanigans are generally not found hilarious. I could believe they told surrey to ban you, just cause they don't like you any more than Surrey does. What they may have failed to realize is the fact stated above, Surrey cannot ban anyone Plus I discussed with Surrey about this whole thing, he wouldn't ban anyone based on it.

As the description suggests, post input on your current thoughts about pyramid vs. fixed schedules. Anything else goes too, including who you'd want to add to staff or make the league op. I wouldn't count on us getting a bunch of new squads for pyramid to work "the way it is intended to", implying that squads actually move up or down meaningfully and we have enough squads not to need a repeat match-up rule. I don't want to lead people either way initially, so I won't post the couple of "facts" I know about either format Oh and please, if you can, more than one word replies. ie. Fixed with top X making pro and the next Y making aml playoffs. And no, we can't really work a 24/7 ladder system into place since we don't have an active bot/web developer to make it a viable option. The only way we could do this at the moment is to have squads play each other and post the result in agreement. But somehow I predict it wouldn't work for very long

I wish I knew what mindriot was on about. Either way, when I logged in to SS today I had three messages telling me cash flow king + el father were aliasing and ruining pracs for people by whatever means. Now, aliasing itself is not illegal. El Father and Cash Flow King are both aliases in my book, since the players were known with other names long before these ones. I checked the pracs these aliases were in When I logged on to the forums I have a !game 100958 message in my inbox telling me that mindriot valiantly SCd to a javelin and ran out the clock in a prac that he was losing. The only reason for why he did this seems to be that he was upset about the opposing team not restarting a 3v3 match when one of his teammates died out soon(ish). As far as the log goes, no illegal shipchanging or illegal subbing was performed by CFK/el father. However, one of the people messaging me about these guys ruining pracs did illegally sub in and die out. What mindriot did is against the rules. What the other person did is against the rules. Also "righting" a wrong with a wrong is against the rules. I've told everyone a bunch of times, if someone breaks the rules and you want me to do something about it, don't try to abuse them in return. I will only view this as idiots arguing online. Now of course I also had a second message about the fact that Surrey was in the arena when Mindriot cheated and did nothing and I should fire him. This might be tricky, because Surrey is not a part of 4v4 staff yet. He probably will be though, he seems to be around, have his head screwed on semi-right at least and is able to think objectively. As far as the evidence goes, mindriot is the only one I could ban. I'll hold that thought until I have a chat with surrey though, seeing as how he's being considered as staff-worthy. I also agree that I shouldn't run the league. It's a lot of work trying to keep a bunch of people happy, while they all want different things I'm sure someone could do a better job, and a lot of people think they could do a better job. A lot of people also realize than even being a regular staffer comes with no benefits, but a bunch of "duties" and people acting like everything they fail at is your fault. On a more serious note.. I'm not sure how I'm not neutral or balanced in issues that concern the league at a higher level. Just because I don't like (a lot) of the players' attitudes does not mean I don't treat all squads the same. I especially wrote the rules strict without much wiggle room to make sure this happens, and I've stuck to them pretty religiously. Yes, I know, I've bent my own rules a few times this season (helping people sub in, including mindriot), while the rules say it's the captains' responsibility to assign lagouts etc. for their players to be able to return. I mostly did this because the OPPOSING squad's captain asked for ?help. The same applies for when Da Monkk asked for a restart in our match. Yes, hibachi suggested we should maybe restart for a good match, Monkk was ok with it. I then abused my powers and did not score the game 12-0 for Nguyens. Not that I believe this will make much of a difference in the final standings. For the two chaos players that read this... yes, it should be on the 4v4 forum but cash's reply is not visible there.
