True, but the bullets fired by the user will always be accurate anyway... so it would be kind of like having a random-ish multifire. But I guess it could work for a rapid-fire weapon that fires in bursts of 5 to 10 bullets or something. Could be fun What I meant is using extraweapon for inaccurate bullets. A bit like a shotgun or something. Although, of course, it might be annoying as hell to use.

Most important thing is a high flag count : flags carried 'ratio', so that the winning freq has to choose - sacrifice defenses for more simultaneous dropping, or play it (relatively) safe? A long drop timer also helps with that, and with a good flaggame that lasts a while (150k in 20 minutes = bad) in general. Edit: Whoa, I shouldn't post stuff from my phone. Typo fixed.

Get Wave Disperser => one of the enemy team's players does pitiful damage. Why is that not enough? You also want protection from the other guy? 'Best of both worlds' has never been a motto for items in HS.

Double warbirds should under no circumstance be allowed. Dual javelins is probably just self-gimping, so I'm not too sure about restricting that. I challenge everyone who doubts the necessity of this rule to a 2v2 against me and P Nut, where we will use warbirds, and the challengers use javelins. Edit: I'm not too sure about restricting use of Smart Bomb. To be fair, if a team has too much trouble with it, just getting Wave Disperser will make it somewhat of a joke. String of Pearls however should be disallowed. When used well, it simply disallows any kind of aggressive tactics making the user overly powerful.

That'd be a ridiculous way to deal with someone who exploits. A ban isn't purely a method to prevent the player from exploiting (during his ban). It's also punishment that shows the player using the exploits that doing so is by no means allowed and has its consequences (and hopefully prevent others from doing the same thing). Edit: Also, many of the exploits in Subspace/Continuum are likely not fixable due to the client being closed source. I don't know if that's the case here, but still. Even if an exploit is easy, fixing it might not be. Closed this topic - network ban disputes really don't have a place in Hyperspace's forums, even if it's the trash talk forums.

Stealing Everspace's gameplay mechanics is not on my to-do list. You seem to think that a 'thor with different graphics' (alongside existing thors) and a 'lasting projectile tail effect' are even possible.

Sure, railguns are on my to-do list after walking terminator robots, fighter drones, carrier ships and planetary invasions.
