I don't know if I should still use this. I am sure the hard drive itself is good quality.. I think the problem exists because it's using USB 3.0 and because it has to deal with Windows 7. But they explained either power surges or shutting off the drive without ejecting it, can cause the partition table to crash. And me I am thinking.. I have another hard drive, not USB 3.0 but SATA.. connected with a sata cable.. All I do with that is flick the switch and shut it off. AND NOTHING CRASHES. So why do these new craps they make need special shut down procedures? Obviously this technology is too new for them to perfect it yet. OR they design it like crap on purpose so they can make more money. Example when I said I need to recover my data before formatting they started referring me to their data recovery partners, who obviously charge you an arm and a leg. Losers. So now I am on their website, downloading updated firmware for this Hard drive, and installing some smartbackup program they have. Obviously they could have just made a hard drive without all the need for updating software every month, and without firmware.. and without special backup programs.. So why all this crap? Is this an operating system or a hard drive? Why all this software for this shit. I should just plug it in, drag and drop, and shut it off at my own leisure like I do with my sata hard drive that I had for years. But really power surges my ass. I am using a gigantic APC power surge protector for my computer and my hard drive is plugged into that. When I call tech support they tell me to plug it into a wall outlet. LOL I am thinking whats the difference? Does this hard drive not work on a APC unit now? It needs to be directly into a wall? Retarded.

Knowledge of English language? Unless he's in a University doing placement tests for English courses SPECIFICALLY for you. He won't know what your 'knowledge' of English is. Not to mention everything you type on here has a spell check. And the fact that it could not be about knowledge at all. People write based on preference, it's what they want to type, or how they want to type. Or at the most, it might be a habit to spell something the wrong way, but if you give them multiple choice of a wrong way to spell a word, and a right way. I am sure they would know the right one.

tm_master told me he codes java for a living. He said he works on all those java updates your computer needs. Java 6 etc. He works for the actual company. Maybe you can ask him if you need any tips. Plus I am curious if he actually knows anything. =)

But polix there was more than one person who saw the evidence right? If it's a yes, then we know the more people involved, the more likely its true. Not that you would lie even if it was just you who saw the evidence. I speak in general, and only use this situation and you as a hypothetical.

As a general assumption. 1. If he can't unban, then he doesn't even know how to use or get those exploits himself. (see 4) 2. If he had enough knowledge to get the exploits himself, but not enough knowledge to unban, then the exploits were very simple and anyone with general computer knowledge can figure it out. 3. If 2, is applicable, then banning him for your mistake of leaving such a big security hole is detrimental. Just fix the problem, then unban him and it will go away completely. 4. If 1, is applicable, then it means someone else with technical knowledge told him of everything. (see 5) 5. If 4, is applicable, then it means the real "hacker" will just tell someone else how to do it, and the problem will persist. Solution keep him banned until you fix the problem/exploit. Then unban him. If you can't fix the exploit then you run into a paradox, where it was actually a hard exploit to achieve, and thus why it can't be fixed? And so he was so smart to achieve this, then why can't he unban?

Proof is decided by votes? If Polix banned him without proof, he should just say so. I don't believe someone hacked anything, just because someone tells me they did. That was my only point. I never said to unban anyone.

I want an item that spawns black holes, in front of you, as opposed to bricks. Can be used as shields, or to destroy the enemy if they enter it's pull. Basically something to distort bomb and bullet fire temporarily. Send perfect aim, curving away from you etc.

Just saying from experience. Example Hoch accused Boris of hacking DSB once, and banned him. However Hoch had no proof Boris did anything. They just went after him because he openly admitted, that he had some technical knowledge, and sometimes he would go through walls or do something miniscule in game. So they wanted him gone for good, and accused him of a bigger crime. Pretty low handed and expected of people who have the power to do anything they want. People have little self control, and follow their personal preferences rather than finding solutions to problems, etc. I wouldn't believe the president if he said there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Only an idiot would do that. So only an idiot would out right believe what Polix says. This is no way a discredit to Polix. While I am sure he is of admirable character, people should not just believe everything they hear or read regardless. Proof is required and people should not fear asking questions. Where was the proof there was Nuclear weapons in iraq? Where is the proof -nn hacked anything. Perhaps he got names, but maybe he did not hack. Where is his IP all over the server logs? Who is double checking these claims, or is polix the only one accountable? If he did not hack, that means its pointless to ban him forever. Especially if he was a bad hacker anyway. Just prevent morons for gaining things to easily and ban him for a few months. Problem solved. P.S Boris still plays and is not gone for good or specially netbanned. Either because you can't, or he really is innocent of the accusations. The events between him and Hoch happened in 2002. Maybe earlier. If he really was guilty, time would have revealed everything, because he would just have hacked again and got caught, and been banned forever. It's 9 years later and hes still here.
