Little functionality? My code has brilliant functionality; it highlights that you're a moron. I don't require anything else

I was hoping to use something nicer; the stock icon is very... Well, it's very 90s. Also; I've been very busy at work for the past few days, and probably will be for the next week or so. I only need about 1 hour to completely finish the project however that hour is hard to come by right now. It will be completed shortly, though. Still waiting on an icon, however...

You know you can get a job at Google, Microsoft or any other big player right out from University, right?

I don't believe so, just 512x512 - I should be releasing the installer tonight once I've ironed out a few little bugs.

Realistically this game if coded as a team effort wouldn't take a year to code (considering you'd expect to have people working 8 hours a day on it).

Hi Guys, I've almost finished a complete Mac Continuum installer and App launcher; all I require is an icon. If anybody has any personal favourites or wants to design one I'd love to use it. I recall JabJabJab coming up with some very nice graphics. Typically Mac icons should be around 512x512 in size so they can be scaled up and down. Many thanks in advance!

This post has opened my eyes... Self-actualisation has been reached; I no longer need to live. Excuse me while I jump off a bridge.

What about when a consulting physician administers an injection?

Bans for being a jerk? That sounds perfectly reasonable. As for the rest of your post... http://s3.amazonaws.com/files.posterous.com/lexielex/K45r6V3mXKd6TDUMBUqokvuVxKeA59AKYVxTfd0R4lGru78zFnPlWcCpV4io/Cool_story_bro.jpeg?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAJFZAE65UYRT34AOQ&Expires=1310221278&Signature=L1Uh7LjYiqyYjOkuvC%2B2Ul5cb3s%3D

Installation Script: http://downloads.krslynx.com/guides/InstallContinuum.sh Download the file, and open Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app) Run the following commands in Terminal: cd ~/Downloads chmod +x InstallContinuum.sh ./InstallContinuum.sh Wait for the installation to complete, should take anywhere between 30 minutes to 1 hour. Once completed, follow the instructions found in the Terminal Window. You should need to copy and paste a couple 'export xyz' lines. Enjoy Continuum.

I know market data engineers who are contracted at around £2,250 per day (on six-month contracts). $150 for a technical role is not unheard of. Anyway, Dr. Brain I have an iPhone and a lot of spare cash - I've been considering coding a client myself but I really lack the interest - and I am mediocre at best when it comes to programming in Obj-C. When I get a new iPhone (around Sept probably) I can post you my old iPhone 3GS 32GB. It's not in great condition, but it'll do for the task?

I don't see the point in any rationalisation with this jerk, he is a self-proclaimed troll, and a proven idiot. I'm surprised he's not already banned.

Lol 'troll god'. Although most trolls only pretend to be a dumb-ass you go the whole nine yards. Say no more.

I'm not sure of the point you're trying to make, Avast. However I'll try and fight my urges to make you look like a moron and reply to your post in a way that saves you some dignity. Firstly, nobody needs to prove anything to me - I have nothing to do with MG. You're free to prove yourself to SSCouncil etc for billing or another host; I have no squabbles what-so-ever. Secondly, what I expect really isn't a tall order - especially if you're considering throwing hours of your free time away for a video game. To know what ASSS is and some Linux basics is what I'd expect from most rookie subspace developers. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-k1wHnkg4mmY/TWFyo-e9-dI/AAAAAAAAAE0/Uey0yb5w6E4/s1600/charlie-sigh.jpg As for your final comment, if you feel you can get MG back up and running, on your own, with NO help then go for it! Edit: I'll just add a 'for the record'... Yes, every zone I host I expect some basics of Linux and ASSS knowledge as I host ASSS game-servers on a Linux machine. (With the only exception being TWDev)

For this to work, the following is required; 1. Somebody/people who can get the zone running on ASSS - preferably with Linux experience (Resol, Cheese!) 2. Somebody/people who have the time to sit in the zone and get some games started (X_PennyWise, Any MG players that read this) 3. Somebody/people who can try and re-create the previous community (Any MG players that read this) To put it short, if I'm going to host MG again I need some evidence that you actually have a plan of some sort - if you do I'm happy not only to host the zone but to get the majority of bugs ironed out with you. If you can't prove that to me you can either find another host, or you're not the right person to run the zone (as you're just getting peoples hope up for nothing; which is frustrating). Also, as a question to X_PennyWise: if there is a community left from MG (I'm doubtful) - then perhaps you should speak to one of the forum administrators about setting up a sub-forum - if you can get some momentum of players posting then I'm sure it will be enough for a community effort in bringing MG back. Having one person do all the work is completely unrealistic now-a-days.

tl;dr falc> i haz all ur ip other guy> you're a dev, not a mod - your powers are a privilege falc> i am gon' track you and smell your underwear *banned* ps. A teacher at my college lost his job for calling a black student a 'Negroid'. When SeVeR speaks about DSB staff abusing etcetera, the claims seem somewhat believable. When you do it, they seem like they're fighting a losing battle against the mindless. Congratulations in swaying my opinion atleast towards DSB staff actually being somewhat decent (oh, and that's an achievement btw).

How is this any different to that last flash game that 'was just like Subspace'? Anyway, I know a lot of you might perceive this is a jerk thing to say but unless you're going to bring something to the community then why are you here? We don't want closed software, it's useless to everybody when; The single guy with all the power gets bored and has a 6 year break because; The game isn't making the money that it was initially making/supposed to make Unless of course I'm wrong; you intend on making open source software, knowing that points two and three above become much harder to fulfill if you do.

Since Continuum.40 to reduce people using memory editors to cheat they made it a little harder to read the memory and make sense of it as easily. Let's face it, if this application were to be created it'd be an open source project; and in that case you already have a huge loophole as anybody who can read some code can just get the instant upper-hand in any game they play. If you can read the memory, you can edit it. It's a good idea I just don't think it's feasible for the game as it's not really going to be a massive game changer (imo, anyway).

Lol... So no different from a bot-silence. What a non-issue.

Have none of you guys have heard the expression "don't feed the trolls"? If somebody is talking too much shit, ?ignore them. I don't see the reason at all for these extra complexities; instead of proposing a bot to make things even more complex, remove the issue all together.

You leave it to your players to decide whether another player gets (banned/silenced). Can you not see the conflict of interest there? No wonder why your zone is apparently dying. If players are being annoying in an arena, why don't you save yourself the time of having to defend a crappy system such as this one and let your players know about a great in-game feature; ?ignore.
