I've been struggling with making a good logo for the Hyperspace zone so I'm requesting help from anyone with a little art skillz. I was thinking of one that is like an upside-down triangle with a ship in it or whatever. Something more than just the word Hyperspace. Anyone got an idea for a logo? No, dont. Joomla and other pre-fabs are too ez to hack because the source is readily available.

It would be best if the "breaking news" was available via an RSS feed. This is very simple technology that should be employed asap.

For now, please hold off anymore basemaking until we ask for them again. We are working on construction of a new map and do not have time to put up new events, maps, or deal with more bases. We will let you know when to start making bases again.

Ok folks, most of you have seen it but if you haven't been to Hyperspace to see it - go now, the new map is IN! I'd like to thank the following people for their contribution to the map: 1. Sharpflame - built many bases (we chose three), designed the new center safe and the junk around the center. 2. Aquarius - built the base tags. 3. Charmed3 - built base located in sector 1 4. Burglary - built base located in sector 4 5. Legas & Stray - they don't play here but they contributed a base located in sector 3 via Aquarius 6. Jowie - built the base located in sector 6. Actually Jowie updated it after my request but I did not put that version in. Thanks for your hard work Jowie. 7. Sinn, Creamy the Cow, enigma, and others who were involved in the testing. Thanks! What do you think? Be objective please.

1/7/2008 1. The new map is IN! 2. My arena is reset back to default. No need to enter that arena now as there are no settings or maps there. Folks, we're into January already and February is a short month so I'm shooting for early Spring '08 for the new new map.

Try deleting Continuum/zones/hyperspace then re-enter.

1/5/2008 1. All bases are set and published for the Jan map. We will not be accepting new bases for now. 2. The Jan map was tested by a few players and identified a few bugs to be fixed. 3. The Jan map requires the updated gates config and the jump and ctr-ships lvz files.

1/2/2008 1. Updated the Jan map as it prepares for release. We are NOT accepting any more bases for January however we are looking for new obstacles to put around the center sector. 1/1/2008 1. Due to player abuse, we have removed sub-arenas related to the latest money hack. 2. The blue steel tileset has received the most votes and will be used on the next generation tileset/lvztiles/CLT project for HS basemakers. No timeline as to when we will have that completed. 3. Working on a "Guide to Making bases in Hyperspace". Any input from players and staff is welcomed.

Looks like we should be able to get it running within a few months, but that depends largely on the commitment levels we get from certain sysops.

As far as I know, Swift is the only mod and one that does nothing for the zone at this time (maybe he did in the past). Like sinn says - brain will decide eventually.

I'm not sure yet - checking the crystal ball....

12/30/2007 1. Released color scheme on a new tileset to the public for voting. 2. Update Jan map with sharp's new center. Several edits are still required on the map. 3. Updated Ignescent's squad arena's map per request of desert op.

This tileset is not available for use by other zones regardless of that zone's status, condition, biller configuration, or any other purpose. Players and staff interested in building bases for the next generation map which will use the tileset below should prepare by installing bak-'s Java based CLT editor on their workstation/pc. See CLT editor for details. We will provide mappers with a completed CLT project which includes an updated tileset as well as a fully conforming snap-in-place lvz-tiles set. At this time we are not accepting tile edits by players. This information and the tileset shown and related tiles designed for SSCE Hyperspace are copyrighted by myself (S!@#$%^&*) and Hyperspace zone.

12/26/2007 1. Loaded hyperball map designed by SharpFlame and Hi-5. ?go hyperball 2. Reviewed base created by Stray and Aquarius. We have 4 bases submitted for the January release so far. If you would like to submit one I need to receive it no later than January 3rd, 2008. For those of you who have submitted bases please check your ?messages in-game and take appropriate actions. Also, players should keep in mind that staff makes the final decision about which bases are kept or discarded. If you have designed a base but it was not used, please feel free to ask about what changes are needed, make the modifications, and re-submit. Just because you were not approved once does not mean that you cannot try again. Definitely - Try again! (Oh - apply that in life too! )
