a) right click the shortcut to continuum, and choose properties. You will see a tab for "compatibility," click it and try Win 2000 mode first, then try some of the others.... it may or may not work make sure you have all windows updates installed and up-to-date

The client shouldn't lock due to internet problems outside of the machine itself. Under normal cir!@#$%^&*stance, the client should just report all zones as RED if the internet is broken. Try right clicking the .exe and try some of the compatibility modes. Un istall and Re-install the client, drivers, etc (wwork your way up to the entire OS if you really feel like it.)

when I started the game, almost 8 years ago, we couldn't adjust the keys. That feature was added maybe 4 years ago, I dunno when. But most people have been able to excel over the years with the default key definitions. Morale of the story: time will teach you any config you choose.

Tested. Since the control/alt/shift keys are considered "modifier" keys. Only certain commands can be bound to them. Commands which, by default, are bound to a modifier key are able to be changed to another modifier key: bullets & map. The exception to the above rule is the Bomb key. You can map cntl/alt/shift to the bomb key. Distiguish left/right works as expected with this scenario.

There is currently no Mac version available, nor any version expected... sorry!
