you can freely save anything you want in the root continuum folder. This file will not be overriden when you download the actual zone map, because that is stored in the continuum\zones\zonename directory. The desktop folder is stored under the windows user's folder, just like the My do!@#$%^&*ents folder. So if you save it to the desktop, its only going to be on that user's desktop and none of the other user's. As an option, you can save it in the "All Users" Desktop Directory and it will be available to all users. In order to upload, it has to be in the continuum root folder anyway, so why not save it there. It's in the Program Files directory, which is shared by all users.

it allows you to take bounty from arena to arena.. You can go to a dueling or 2v2 sub arena and start with 200 bnty, then go to pub from safety and start with that 200. Our start bounty in pub is 50, so thats obviously not acceptable. I miss using this feature, too: [Misc] > AllowSavedShips=1

You might also be entering an arena with a bot that is running some sort of match or game. These bots will typically *spec anyone who enters the arena, in order to keep gameplay uninterrupted.

not really ported... rebuilt (from scratch) and Priitk is responsible for the majority of the client gameplay code, Ekted did the front end, and a number of people work on the server/subgame.

When .37 or .38 was was released, it required a newer directx version.

you sure? I think it requires 7.x to install. What about audio?
