  1. sscuservers dir server is down.
  2. Will be back up by the weekend. Long story why Swift couldn't renew it yet, but he will have it renewed by the weekend.
  3. meh, have had em here 2 other times before.
  4. I am clueless at the moment as to what is going on. Joe hasn't answered his phone (though I've been slow to do the same lately), and the domain is still listed as being held for renewal. So just waiting to see wth is going on, or what can be done.
  5. you already posted this once.
  6. maybe if you removed ssforum.net from your hosts file you'd figure it out...
  7. I can upload sony vegas pro 8.0b for you. 114mb.
  8. To be honest, if you think that'd chase people away... look at Florida as a whole. That entire state sees more tornados and hurricanes than anywhere else in the US, yet lots of people still live there.
  9. And there was 2 even before that.
  10. The thing is, for the most part, the bots ignore a lot of subforums. SSForum is using the same amount of bandwidth per month that SSDL does... that is kind of sad seeing as we are mostly just text. Granted only about 20-30% of our hits are bots, but still, that is far far too much b/w for as dead as we have been lately. I'm just trying this for a week or 2 to see if our bandwidth decreases. Though I wanted the spam lounge off the front page, and General Development moved up near General Discussion to promote it more.
  11. Except the fact they seem to spend so much time in game har!@#$%^&*ing him. Referring to that more than here where yeah, takes like 30 secs to post.
  12. I still have my ring. So meh.
  13. I honestly agree with Sneakerz. You guys spend so much effort har!@#$%^&*ing the guy, if you took that same effort and put it towards something more productive, you could probably out do him seeing the amount of time you have on your hands.
  14. Biden is someone who always caught my attention, and solidified me behind Obama. Previously I was just in the middle like most americans. Didn't want McCain, but knowing there are more cousin-!@#$%^&*ing rednecks & diehard nutcase christians than the rest of us, so a black man who supported choice would never win. So really, I fall behind Obama, knowing if anything happened to him, or the fact the person he is consulting, is someone I would trust as president.
  15. All Ya'll STFU... case closed.
  16. Not all Mitsubishi. They're very good at upping the power of the engines in their galants (older galants) and eclipses and then at the same time upping their weight. Plus the newer eclipses are just fugly... from side and front not bad, but from behind, fugly. Honestly I just picked up a 94 Integra and been doing a lot of work on it. Granted it only has 125k miles on it, so its not even broken in yet (if even stock engine, looks waaay too clean) and it'll run forever more. Also could use a new paint job and fix where the bumper is molded into the fender, but eh, the color has grown on me. Amazingly a lot of guys don't seem to mind a purple car, so meh.
  17. Banned.
  18. I bought an 89 Lx-I 5spd for $100, just sold it for $1000. Had to do a lot of engine overhaul and interior work as it was left out under a tree with windows open through the winter. But it runs great still for the guy I sold it to. Amazing gas milage too.
  19. Nah, really? Been that way for a LONG time bro. I almost had him talked down to $2000. But then talks just kind of stopped.
  20. Personally I blame Hyperspace...
  21. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26091252 1st read about this a few days ago, but it seems that it is even bigger than 1st thought. Figured it was worth a read.
  22. The nav bar is going to be getting a major overhaul. And if all goes as planned, it will be a lot more functional, along with the 3 major sites it supports.
  23. It wants a password for your alias you are trying to use. All the zones are free to enter. You may be using a alias already in use if it says incorrect password.
  24. Yes it was a knee-jerk reaction. The old site was functional, agreed, but let's face facts: no offense to Catid, but it was really rather ugly. In any case though, what's done is done, so debating whether the makeover was warranted or not is sort of besides the point now. I at one point was going to redesign and re-code the site when it was still at catid.sscentral.com. But then I realized this "ugly" site as you called it, fully served its purpose. He kept it organized, and kept everything on there you needed. No offense, but I know Riistar can design a better site then that. The code is attrocious (sp?) and the entire layout/iframe of the site just makes it look more ugly and annoying than before. That and I can no longer go there and just scroll down with ease. Have to click in the stupid frame to scroll. The design could EASILY be made liquid, and honestly, looking at how he didn't put anything on the left, probably was meant to be. It all almost reminds me of something I've seen people make in a wysiwyg like dreamweaver. Except someone sloppied the code up even worse. Just my 2 cents. Edit: Also, many others contribute to SSCentral, SSForum.net, and SSDownloads.com. SSCentral.com "A Subspace Fan Site" | SSForum.net "Subspace's Central Forum System" | SSDownloads.com "Subspace's Central Downloads Archive". How hard were those captions. I don't take any ownership for SSForum.net outside of these forums (Swift honestly fully owns them, but calls them mine). My team does a lot of work, and earns their ranks as admins respectfully.
