    Help?

    run dcme_install.bat (dcme_install)
  5. Over the next few days the Site and Forums may go a bit "cooky" at times as I begin trying to clean up the files, databases, and even code. A lot of CSS and quick code was added to get areas of SSGN functioning and working right in the get go, but now need cleaned up or even just removed and exchanged with different working code. It might take a few days to go through everything, but it will make SSGN run faster, and should help as I try to get more people involved in working on the site. Standardizing everything should make it all go a lot smoother, and help the html newbies out. Thanks for all the support and help so far
  6. Due to issues beyond our control with SVSZone.com I have setup forums here for Chaos, Premier, Warzone, and Events. So feel free to post here and we'll keep you updated on SVSZone's status. It may be some time, so don't think of these as a 1 night stand. More like that girlfriend who systematically moves into your place without you really realizing it. Enjoy

A forum for me to ban you from the forums.
  8. In TW Dev it looks like it is cut into a perfect circle rather than just fading into space. Also looks a lot bigger in game, which would throw you off for wormhole surfing.
  9. 36* 1. 0/360 2. 36 3. 72 4. 108 5. 144 6. 180 7. 216 8. 252 9. 288 10. 324 (1. 360/0) I have to deal with this daily on designing parts/tooling/cutters.
  10. yeah, it isn't a per user issue. It is a ipb issue. http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/documentation/index.html/_/knowledge-base/314-ipcontent-homepage-redirects-to-forum-homepage-r543 Applying the patch now. Edit: Works fine again. Closing topic
  11. Have a ticket in, and asking on support forums if anyone else experiencing the issue. But I upgraded to 3.1.4 and then began experiencing this issue. I've tried everything I can think of, but no fix yet. IPB support might not be back until Friday cause of the holiday, so may be a couple days. Very odd...
  12. Gotta say I like yours better so far. Mostly just because it is brighter and more easily noticed. Juans just blends in so much I doubt anyone even notices it as a special tile or anything. Though maybe that is just from many many years of seeing it.
  13. you only just realized that? heh Downside being nothing unique was ever done with it. Always wondered if they had bigger plans for it.
  14. For us, this is a once in 50 year thing. I have never seen anything like last night in my life. 65mph gusts, clear sky, subzero temps. Not even close to a normal winter for us. If this was normal, sure, we'd be fine. But we have lots of Californians up here who can't even handle the normal winter with 1-2in of snow. Throw in stuff people like me have never seen in a lifetime living here, and you got chaos.
  15. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40336486/ns/weather?GT1=43001 Took my dad 12hrs to do a normal 1hr commute, and me 4hrs to do a normal 10-15min commute. Our roads just ain't setup for this stuff. And as typing this, the Navy just canceled the next 2 shifts where I work. Canceled my shift 4am this morning. Fun stuff... Just got power back, my family has no power still, but got a generator.
  16. Actually seen that ad on quite a few sites lately. Dunno why ours was chosen, but hey, not complaining.
  17. Downloaded and Installed latest version of the hook. Seems to be working fine for me.
  18. Thanks Dav <_<
  19. We have reached 257 members and growing fast. My goal is to hit 300 members by the end of the year, and then submit the application for Continuum on Steam's games list. Please let everyonw know to join the group, and I promise to keep people up to date on events both there and here. On a side note: The frontpage has been updated to be a bit more clean. Added a bit of quick info on getting started, and trimmed the frontpage news to the latest post. The rest of the news can be accessed by clicking "Community News" in the menu, "News Continued..." at the bottom of the page, or favoriting http://www.ssgn.net/news.php and visiting there 1st. Thanks for all the feedback so far, keep it coming.
  20. I have completed many updates around the site over the past week, but some of the more apparent updates are as follows: - Fixed link errors/bad links - Changed site layout and index download banner - Updated menus: Left menu is geared at new players/information and right menu at current players and website info. - Moved Network Status zone info into a database. This makes adding/removing/updating zones simple. - Rewrote the entire backend for Network Status. - Began working on minor script to allow zones to grab their population using our scripting. Lots of other things I can't quiet remember. Little tweaks here and there. But more updates/content should be coming as I have re-setup my local webserver allowing me to more easily test code before deploying it to the website. Also the total players online on the right menu now only updates every 1 minute. To get a current real-time stat of a zone (and plan to add total pop to the page) click on Network Status. And remember, tell all your friends about the Steam Community: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/continuumsubspace/
  21. There is an entire sector of Steam dedicated to this now. No longer hunting people down/being bumped around. And they have some general suggestions on their FAQ/information page, and 1 of em is getting a Steam Group together to show support of the game. So is now my main goal.
  22. A while back, effort was made to really pursue Continuum on steam, but we kept coming to dead ends, or issues without having the source/control of the client that stopped us. But I have decided to make an official submission with a slight plea with Steam to get Continuum listed as a free stand-alone game on their list. Along with this, I would like to show them the support we have for them to do this, and need the help of the players. I know there are many of you who play steam games and use the steam client, or even if you haven't, it is free to register an account and join the group. But please join Continuum's Steam Community: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/continuumsubspace/ and help show your support. My goal is to have a community of atleast 400 (hopefully a large majority of current steam users) and show them we have the support of our community to get this game listed on their client. So please, get as many players as you know to join, as this will help give the backing we might just need to get them to list us on their site, and to a huge population of windows gamers. Thanks!
