  1. Snrrrubspace, which is not open source
  2. Or if you want to use SSME, tell us the error! If it's a Windows error dialog, say so.
  3. Sorry, I've never used them. Google for "nvidia driver cleaner".
  4. If you're using another computer, it might be tricky. Probably you won't get the name. (There's always hope, though) I'd want QuestionUser
  5. A reformat might help, yes. (It could also be a broken network card, in which case a reformat would not help, but it's worth a shot) For speed checks, just google "connection speed test". You'll get plenty of tests there. If the ISP is fkd... you go and tell them that your ping times are incredibly jumpy. Try not to mention games, they really don't take those well. Just say something about a business app giving you alerts or something... if you can cook up a story like that
  6. You might be able to get the name back from here, even if ?lostp!@#$%^&*word fails: http://www.ssforum.net/c/index.php?showtopic=6649 (read the "if you are not a new user" part)
  7. Your drivers are broken. Try a "driver cleaner" program to totally uninstall any drivers. Then download new ones straight from nvidia.com and install them.
  8. Ok, looks like router is not the problem. Two possibilities left: your PC is on the fritz or the ISP is broken. Most likely it's your computer, but who knows. Try another one if you can. You can also do a speed test to see if your connection is somewhere in the appropriate range. If it's not, there's more stuff to complain about to your ISP (since they usually don't take gaming problems seriously).
  9. Of Continuum improvements? There are a lot
  10. What's there to reply to?
  11. It's kept private for security and will never be revealed to anyone. In the strictest sense of never and anyone. Only one person in the world has it.
  12. Woah... that is weird... the max ping is high for most hops but never for the 11th one? Something is quite broken somewhere... and in a very weird way o_O Anyway, try it without your wireless router. Plug the dsl (I assume you have a ISP->bridge->router->PC connection? make it ISP->bridge->PC and create a DSL connection within Windows) straight into your computer. See what happens then. This can only be solved through trial and error, really. You can also try and see whether another computer works.
  13. That trace looks really weird to me... could you perhaps let it run for an hour or so and then post it?
  14. (Would perhaps be interesting if it had something besides TW as well )
  15. What'd he do? Don't leave my curiosity hanging like that? But I guess this has gone off-topic enough... time for the axe.
  16. 4 years? Woah, what'd you do?
  17. Recording is easy and not spaceful at all So, yeah, it's a possibility... Depends whether it can be tied into the rest of the game architecture well.
  18. Even if you used one, it wouldn't unban you. Wait out your ban, you deserved it
  19. Very freaky. Thanks for the report No known manual fix and PriitK probably won't bother fixing this or even reading any message about it, so... lalala. Nothing to see here, move along
  20. That old Smackieman... lazy !@#$%^&*. That's what happens if people get in power only because they know people :sos:
  21. Do you have a problem requiring technical support? If you do, express yourself clearly.
  22. Does it happen with other games? Sounds like a monitor problem, if it even does it with software emulation.
  23. Does the ship go real dark too when moving? What about the stars and planets in the background?
  24. SOS

    Subspace v2

The project is just about entirely in C#, so you probably wouldn't be very useful... hmm... maybe when the day comes (definitely not for a few months yet), you'd be willing to work on the map editor? I'd provide the graphics engine and probably map reading code, you'd have to just do the UI and map "drawing" functionality. What do you think about that?
  25. I rather like that phrase as well Although, I guess you could contact the ISP and hope they can solve it (yeah, right! I hear ISPs are not meant to solve problems ) or you can hope for the good old beings to become restful and non-interruptive again.
