  3. I'm strating to like this more with every moment. This could be that "something neat" to bring in people, hopefully.

  6. How about we drop credits and use points instead? I don't like two point systems when we already have one that works well. And to prevent spam, we have have bricks cost like.... 20% of the player's points, minimum 20 million? I'm thinking we might only offer *really* cool things for "sale". Nothing ordinary or useless, yet nothing too powerful either. Some ideas: Super-expensive bricks for when you really need it. Expensive giving engine shutdown to someone random on the enemy team. Super-expensive "get 5 flags, no questions asked" option. Expensive warping of a random player to you (only one time per minute) - russian roulette flagger hunting Remove antiwarp from nearest enemy player. Give nearest enemy player an engine shutdown. Warp everyone in your vicinity. Full items Energy deplete everyone in your vicinity We can't have too much buyable stuff. 5-10 maybe. Definitely not over 10. Maybe only 5...

  8. I don't see a need for it. 1) Why should dead teams get to base back fast? They got their asses kicked, so let them rot 2) Why put even more pressure on carriers? They have a hard job anyway Well... I'm sortof indifferent on this idea, which means I lean towards naah. Also, would Deva still be Deva with this? I'm not so sure... (Perhaps add for the weekend and test?)
  9. Hrm... well, two points: 1) Something useful to buy for points/credits might be good 2) But would it? Deva is about flagging, not trinkets, as the design do!@#$%^&*ent says Trinkets distract people. I'll think about this... maybe I'll have some more thoughts tomorrow

    Why should dialup laggers be allowed to play? 350 should be high enough, even for nasty dialup... but yeah, let's see. Find out what your lag is during some bigger flag games, let me know. (!@#$%^&* time zones...)

    Heh, it's supposed to fade into the radar text! I don't want some annoying standing-out feature. It's there when the player needs it, it won't bother and distract him when he's playing. Standing out is bad. It distracts. Everything must blend together. Comma separated? Hmm... I never thought of that... crazy americans I don't think I'll put in commas but I'll add some empty space after every 3 digits. D+'s green jackpot was OK but I didn't have its graphics available at the moment. I didn't like the white ones at all. Also, I had to re-do the LVZ anyway, because D+ didn't know how to make it use the IDs I wanted to -_- (Pretty tree... what's it for?) Spaces added.

    What do you think? (I tried the default SS font too for the "jackpot:" but it looked pretty ugly. I'm not totally happy with this one but it's the best I could find... I think it'll do, hmm?)
