I see four relatively useless shark holes that buy the shark maybe ten seconds if he uses them all. In fact, one of those four actually slow the shark down. Sharks can rush any base faster than the rest of their team, and any good shark can easily get past the enemy in any base. When I see sharks overpowering base two I will change it. As of now, games have been going well inside. I've seen plenty of games in bases 2 and 6, both bases are balanced. I won a game with 3 other people on a pub freq against a few high exp players.

Get a high bounty, or team up with others who have high bounties. That is how you make money. I want the general public to know this deeply. The current situation of Hyperspace is 50% perfect, that missing half is players. We lack new blood, and like vampires for this money, we like fresh blood. I try not to give NEW noobies a hard time though, I tend to give them 10k, along with some advice. My advice is usually along the lines of: 1: Get a high bounty. The majority of you funds will come from this. 2: Team with others, you can and will get on a private team if you are mature. 3: Win jackpots, this is not much money compared to your bounty/kill winnings, but 4: Every dollar counts. 5: Run up in the base like this I enjoy pub night a lot, there are quite a few new players that come in for the excitement and stay for hours, but only about 1/3 of them return on a regular night. The jackpot gets huge, theres battles in more than one base at one time, that is awesome! But, the drawback is noobs stepping on veterans toes. Personally I have no problem with this, as long as there is a private arena where two squads can challenge one another to a private flagging match. So I say, for the sake of new blood, at least for a few months, make it permanent pub day while working on that private squad match module.

All this talk about an elite team, I thought that is what we are? What does it matter if we have apprentices or interns, the best way for them to learn is to be right next to the teachers. I'm not very active, using my spare time on Hyperspace and that is still a slow process.

Just for fun, and for some info into what is coming in the future of Continuum, post what you are currently working on! This should be informing as I'm sure all of you are hired by a zone already or are working on your own thing. I am currently working with Hyperspace since I loove the zone. What I'm doing for them is a series of .lvz images to create the public map with. Basically tiles. Also just made this, pretty cool right? Sooo, what are you working on?

Basically, I am not going to restrict membership of a volunteer development team for a free online game that we all love. Of coarse there are those who only want the spotlight, as silly as that sounds, but those people are easy to point out. I see this post as a useless rant, I realize you would like zone ops to have an elite resource of developers when they need it, but that will never happen since elite developers are rarely active, I know I am not. I don't know what you expect from SSDev, but this is not any means to obtain any elite status or spotlight.
