    Runwinning is fine, considering the advanced technologies invested into our ship hulls, in HS, theres nowhere to run.

  4. I see what your are saying about base balance, you would prefer more defensive bases, probably new bases but designed like the old ones? So you would feel as if the current bases would be balanced if we threw a really nice bombline in the beginning of each one? So in order to attack you need to try very hard to get past that bombline, but after that it's a little easier for the attackers.

    A good base: Generally the same size as the others, meaning the time it takes to get to flagroom should be relative to the rest of the bases. Propper bomblines, the bombline should only be accessable at one, fieldable spot. The whole base should not be bombline after bombline. Bullet tunnels, if the tunnel is narrow and long it should have what I call "bullet collecters", this is just notches in the walls so half the bullets come back towards you. Wide tunnels, nobody likes to be cramped in HS, too many bullets/burst/shrap. Tunnels should be anywhere from 7x7-12x12 tiles wide/tall. Strategy, keep gameplay in mind when designing your base, think about actually playing on it, and what spots could be abused. That's the jist of it, I thought I would have more emails by now.

    As the news states, HS will be rotating bases monthly. This means we need a lot more bases from the players. To all you veterans out there who know what a good base is, please design one. Draw it on a piece of paper! I will make it a real base. Ideally, you would use one of these applications: DCME - Advanced Map Editor CLT - Advanced Map Editor The current hyperspace map is located on your computer under the directory: C:\Program Files\Continuum\zones\SSCE Hyperspace The filename is: omega.lvl Send your bases to: KrynetiX@gmail.com GOOD LUCK!

  16. If you can program it, load it in a subarena first. If you don't want to waste your time developing something that doesn't have a one-hundred percent chance of being used, use it yourself. I'm sure you will feel accomplished either way.

  18. the aim of my bases (2,6) are to eliminate lame games that last 4 hours at one bombline, you can't do that with my bases it's too easy to attack the reasoning is that it will take more skill to win, games will last longer, and a variety of bases will be used in one game (rather than 4 hours at the bombline in base 4).. if i had things my way, all 7 bases will be easy to attack

  20. Unfortunatley the bases are not designed to handle such amounts of players.
  21. Ok, with you two involved now can we get this thing perfected? I'll send to doc to implement when it's perfect. Ok from my original idea we don't need to module to prize the flagger, because that is done in [flag] settings. All I really need is a module that watches for flaggers and announces their positions every 30 seconds. We don't need to change the flaggers freq because maxperteam=1 so everyone is already on seperate teams. BUT I would like an .ini Because lets say we want to have two public teams? We would need to move the flaggers to a private freq. Lets say we don't want , or do want flaggers to be on the same team? We need to be able to adjust this. [FlaggerFreqs] FreqMode= (0=no freq adjustments 1=each flagger on private freq 2=all flaggers on same private freq)
