My university blocks Continuum/ports on one of its networks, but not on the other one (which requires a VPN client).

So I don't remember what we did last year, but once again this year I'm going to propose we do another winter-xmas-hannukhah-whatever themed map. So what does this mean? Basically we're gonna need bases! So anything you can think of: a snowman, christmas tree, holly, snowflake, santa hat, the grinch, a tree ornament, presents, etc. Also, if you have any other ideas, such as events, graphics, and whatnots that we should have for the holiday season, feel free to place your suggestions here. And if you still have your old bases, feel free to recycle them, though we'd love to see some new designs this year. Just note some things: You must use the Devastation tileset when designing your base. Make sure the base is reasonably sized. And no stealing from other zones. (ps, I know this is a month early, but at least this gives ppl some time to work on bases)

Did you even check if your computer is running DEP? Did you place Continuum on the list of exceptions?

People still play, just not you guys. JDS, I've barely ever seen you in-game, so I don't think you have the right to criticize, and Mage+, you always spec when people are playing, and then jump in when someone decides to win the flags so you can get creds. gg.

What OS are you running? What version of Continuum are you running? Have you tried disabling your anti-viruses before running Continuum?

If only we had one of these for teaching noobs to search the forums...

So are you talking about Continuum or Discretion? If Continuum, then you can safely assume that the proxy option does nothing either meaningful or useful.

1. Make sure that Continuum is using the same color depth as your desktop. 2. Try Advanced options > Software Emulation (select this) 3. Make sure no other programs are conflicting with Continuum. 4. Minimize and maximize the window (or alt+tab in and out)

This problem is not necessarily limited to Windows Vista. Please consider posting useful help, or don't post here at all. You have all been warned. 1. Have you tried rebooting your computer? 2. Does this always occur? Since when has it occured? What programs are you running? (I'm near 100% positive that your desktop is being affected by a non-standard program. Examples may potentially include iTunes and Safari.) 3. Make sure that the Start Menu properties has context menus & drag-n-drop enabled. Right click on the Start button and select Properties, then Customize. Look for the "Enable context menus ... " option.
