  1. Right click on the Continuum icon and select "Properties". Make sure that you haven't selected/check-marked "Read-Only" at the bottom of the properties screen.
  2. Change Firewall service.
  3. Try disabling your firewall entirely.
  4. Make sure that your download list only has the following: (Directory Server Adress List) sscentral.sscuservers.net, ssdir.playsubspace.com, warpath.bluetoast.org Else, try taking a look at this topic for some common problems: http://www.ssforum.net/index.php?showtopic=13180

Hmm, I guess I made my post ambigues with the ini/conf part. Anyhow, you can pm me or e-mail anytime.

    ASSS

That would be good; although I still don't know what big differences the .ini file would be tracking in comparison to what's currently being tracked by the arena(s) .conf file(s), so if you could shed some light on what can be customized through it. Currently in ASSS, the arena settings keep track of all available buyables, prices, buy-delays, antiwarp radius, spree, basewarps, and other attached modules. So I'm curious to know what else you're able to customize outside the plugin itself.
  7. I actually really liked this movie; yes it was completely stupid and unrealistic, but still funny

    ASSS

I felt the need to make this post, since people have been asking quite a bit: !@#$%^&*S stands for A Small Subspace Server; basically, it means that we're trying to replace the current server software with a more modernized structure (currently, Subgame requires bots to host events). Although the advantages may not seem noticeable for the players, it means that XDOOM won't be forced to leave his laptop on 24/7 to host the bot, and it means that commands can be simplified for mods et al. It will also mean that the website can keep track of real-time statistics for each arena such as kills/deaths/goals/etc. Eventually, we'll be able to create all sorts of new stuff and events, but that's all in the future for now. The goal is to attract more players, and in order to do this, ASSS seems to be the best way to go (look at Hyperspace). Currently, most features that are currently available in Deva have been ported over to the new server. The features that haven't will be listed in my TO-DO list above. As for help? If you want to help, I'd love some! - If you want to test out the server and debug all of my mistakes, well... you'll have to wait until I finish up and put it on a temporary/permanent server. - If you want to suggest new things (such as buyables, events, commands, etc.) or critique new & old things, please post ahead! If you want to help write modules for Deva, you'll need 3 things: 1. Motivation 2. Knowledge of C (or at least try to understand how it works) or Python 3. Knowledge of ASSS (this is a requirement) A good place for resources to learn ASSS is: http://forums.minegoboom.com/ & module writing: http://wiki.minegoboom.com/index.php/Writing_Modules_In_C If you have any more questions, concerns, or other, either just post in this thread, private message me here, or pm me in-game.
  9. Or you really don't know how to read :
  10. Alias and try to contact one of the ops in-game (such as Bluegoku or whoever else), this way you're more likely to get a faster response.
  11. lmao wtf

Yep, and if any of you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to post here. I already know that XDOOM wants simplified commands similar to what exists already, and 99% of SOS' concerns here have been resolved, but what else? And for an update, all buyables have now been ported over.

Alright, so as some of you may or may not know, I've taken on the task to complete Hallowed be thy name's work. The first good news is that everything has been ported over from 1.4.3 to ASSS 1.4.4, meaning that it's Continuum 0.40 compatible. I've also not encountered any crashing or weird "stuck-on-enter" problems, which is a good thing. (Although, this may have to do with modules being unloaded improperly - *fixed*) TO DO: - Conquer doesn't display stars - Add a race module - Jackpot music lock Important : - Jackpot & Credits lvz handling needs to be fixed (it seems the math is wrong somehow?) In progress: - fixing stuff here and there Known bugs: - Megajackpot gets unloaded when all players leave arena - Events don't handle 0-1 players - Events ship limits only limit single ship - Jugger doesn't really handle new players - Event crashing And yes SOS, events are now noisy, and bacon too
  15. I never said this was to "appease the masses"; and even if the larger issue at hand is broader than a simple netban fix, it's not like anything's going to change in this thread. It seems rather, you prefer deterring the subject towards me because you're seeking attention. Isn't it kind of obvious already that what Aceflyer did was more than really stupid? Do I have to state my opinion just to get your approval? How would this thread (were it not in Lounge) be any different, and how would this solve the issue any better? Anyhow, if you're surprised it's ended up in here, maybe you need to stick around a bit longer and review the past threads concerning e-drama, rootbear, and other such threads.
  16. Mah, mah. This issue has been resolved; off to a world of wonders we go!
  17. Don't worry too much about switching to ASSS; just use what works best for you. It's true that it offers a lot more potential, but unless you want to expand beyond what you already need with subgame&bots, there's no sense in being hasty.
  18. Why are names clickable but not? It's frustrating Fancy work though.
  19. We had the same problem in Deva; as not many people host bots anymore. As for ASSS, I don't think Sama knows too much about how it works
  20. Your website seems to be down, perhaps fix your signature to point towards https://sourceforge.net/projects/ss-discretion ?
  21. Umm, actually, it's really hard to drive through concrete walls with that little room to pick up speed. Besides, people could can still just jump out of their windows in buildings/appartments, but it's still quite rare a sight, so I doubt this would encourage anyone to drive right off (especially considering the money they waste living there).
  22. Looks like Jenga. I'd be kinda scared to live at the top, especially knowing that the whole building can move. I also wonder, how long would it take for it to bring a car up all the way to the top?

    Lagged...

Have you only been getting it recently? (ただ最近ですか。) Does it happen for all zones or just one? (パケット・ロースは各ゾーンにありますか。)
  24. Purge just doing what he can to save SubSpace!

    Lagged...

Extreme Games seems to be having quite a few server spikes lately (I noticed at least 2 within the past hour), which is causing half of its players and bots to disconnect from the zone. This may be along the same issue as your own if this has only been happening recently, in which case I can only tell you to wait it out for a while.
