Hoping it will stop...when someone gets in and repels the bombs away or puts up a brick or otherwise subverts the bombline. They don't just magically stop firing bombs randomly.

Even if you end up doing that some of the time, the chance of that happening is less than the chance of the bomb hitting you or your team if you don't repel.. lol

All I said was that minibase was not the focus of this zone, it had already been said in the past, too. I was simply responding in the same tone of the posts that were made.

Sass, I've spoken with you as well, but it seems like you're not willing to let go of whatever it is that's holding you back from having a civil discussion about anything with me. And it sure seems to me like you have it in for D1 or at least Doc, too. I'll grant that there were occasions where you made an exception and we talked about small things. As for my work, I don't do it to gain respect, I do it to make the game better. What do you know? You keep missing the memo that just because you have a mouth, it doesn't mean anyone has to listen to the crap it spews. Add in that you're trolling and you're sure to be ignored. Also, "Base 5" really is just a scoring zone like Acer said. All of the other bases are obstacles to get to the goals, so I added a small one for sector 5's goal... it took 5 minutes. Figured it was better to put the goal in there while we figure out what we're doing for new bases instead of leaving sector 5 useless and empty.

Did you even read the log? I hope the ridiculousness of what happened didn't go over your head. My last post went over omni's head, anyway, so I'll say it more plainly: some of you guys take things too seriously. And there's examples for omni in game if I kept logs. People who actually interact with me as a normal and reasonable person have no problem with me. If you don't like the attitude, don't fuel it? I have no problem feeding trolls, e-drama makes this game interesting... however if trolling isn't what your goal is then I'd say you're doing it wrong.

It's okay to live in your own world to escape the truth and pretend you're always right when you keep saying completely ridiculous things (op2 and omni), and it's also okay to presume the world revolves around you (russ), after all we are playing massively multiplayer spaceships. Some might say, wait, Arnk, you do those things, too! Those people have no sense of humor.

Simply saying that the other person is bad isn't "owning" someone, you'll have to come up with some actual material. Also on a serious note, and I say this a lot, we're all players here. If you expect someone to treat you differently because they're staff you're out of your mind. Same thing goes for the other way around. I come here to play the game and have fun, and all the same I'm going to call out people who annoy me, like anyone else. This goes for all staff in all zones, with the exception of some who like to pretend this isn't a free game ran without compensation for operators, developers, moderators, etc. If you give up the identity of being a player (playing or chatting casually), then you no longer have any reason to be here. Both are under 100 exp. As for bomblines, they are the scum of HS and everything, but repelling 3 bombs out of 50 is still leagues better than repelling 0 bombs out of 50. You're not just saving yourself, you're saving your teammates so they can get up there and repel some more and make some progress, maybe lay a brick or shoot off their own bombs to break up the defenders.

I conceived and wrote the shuffler, and I am responsible for it. Nothing personal but posting "you shouldn't use anything that isn't 100% stable" just doesn't fly in this zone. The problems fixed by the shuffler outweigh any slight increase in the number of crashes per day. Your "vary cocky" post simply comes off as "do things my way nownownow i lost moneys qq," no offense. If your suggestion is valid, so is mine. (ps it was fixed)

dueling is boring in any zone group dueling is much better

Hey, maybe we should take down the zone to repair all of the other crashes, while we're at it. Wouldn't want anyone losing money over those.
