Awesome... It's probably a known issue, or maybe even it has some debug purpose, but the second screenshot shows a trail in front of the bomb when it's near the edge of the screen (lower right)

Well, Continuum has very poor hardware optimization overall... You could try different options in the 'view->advanced options' menu, especially the 5 checkboxes at the bottom. Software emulation usually gives the most FPS with modern PC's, but you might find a combination that takes advantage of your GPU better.

Or learn to backward-drop the ball with a ship that has the proper speed... I had a jav that happened to have just the right speed so that when I dropped the ball going backward at full speed, it instantly had 0 speed and I could pick it back right away.

I probably didn't word this very clearly... but the limit is: The SUM of the number of images of ALL the lvz files used in a specific arena is limited to 255. So no, being able to have more lvz files will not allow you to have more images.

On topic... I just made a quick command line program that converts .set files to .cfg. It can convert an entire folder at once... I needed to convert more than a hundred files, so I made it. http://files.ssgn.net/file.php?id=39

Well, yes... but I don't think the client would decompress and use them. I really doubt Priitk did some of recursive loop to load the lvz's. Edit: But let's get real here... I didn't even know there was a limit on the number of lvz files, except what could fit in the misc:levelfiles line (subgame limit I guess). But why would you need that many lvz files? Each LVZ file can be up to 4MB (or is that limit obsolete with ASSS?), and you have a limit of 255 different images across all your lvz files anyway (that's a client-side limit)...

Could be nice... I tried using a joystick once with Subspace, and it sucked... for 2 reasons: 1) Rotation speed wasn't really analog... it seemed like it had 2 levels (i.e. slow rotation and normal rotation) 2) As you noted, a joystick would "feel" better if the map rotated around your ship, not the other way around.

I should have a 6.8 global score AMD Phenom II X6 CPU 2x2GB RAM 60GB OCZ Agility SSD 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black Hard Drive Radeon 4670 Lenovo widescreen 19" monitor (1440x900) (Not worth upgrading video card until I get a monitor with more resolution)
