(bump) I was able to grab about 260 maps and 210 settings files from the server using some bot magic, from a list of .lvl files that was generated several years ago by an unknown source... Anyway, I now just have to convert the 210 .set files to .cfg... I'll probably make my own set->cfg converter since the ones I found don't seem to handle command lines for mass conversion. I'll probably also make some kind of mass subgame->asss converter that creates all the arena folders and places stuff at the right places. On a side note, thanks to those who offered us hosting for our future ASSS server, namely L.C. and Lynx. If all goes well, we should have a server set up pretty soon to start transfering stuff and getting ready for some new stuff. If you want to contribute in any way, don't hesitate to contact me... whether it be just to share ideas, to help as a staff member, or to help us test stuff (we might need some beta play testers eventually ). Yup... Control panel -> Mouse options -> Pointer options -> Show mouse position when CTRL is pressed If it's activated, it should do it no matter if you're playing Continuum or not...

The problem with any helicopter shipset that was made since the existence of custom shipsets is the lack of animation... An helicopter with non-rotating blades doesn't look right... It's possible to have the roll add some pseudo-animation in there, but I don't think it will ever look right. And I'm not trying to putting down anyone's work, it's just the way Continuum/Subspace's "engine" is designed that creates these limitations...

You're doing a clean install, right? Booted from the disc and installed on a fresh partition? Is it a legit copy? What happens if you just reboot it at that point? Are you sure your hard drive is not dead? Can you run a full scandisk on it (or some other disk check utility) to search for defective sectors? (from another partition, from dos, or by installing it on another machine) Does your computer look like it's doing anything at that moment? Is the CPU light on the case flashing? Is the hard drive light flashing?

Corey: It's not the lvz feature that is crashing you, it could crash anywhere else. How much RAM you got? You could try using the LVZ tab above the tileset instead. You can right-click in there to add images and stuff. Jab: Not really

On the Entering arena... screen you should see 'Downloading: x%' after a few seconds. Most links you can find from in game are probably dead... we have no control over them since they're built in the client itself, and the domains expired long ago.

Try another file format such as PNG/JPG? Otherwise, put it on an image sharing site and link to it? Yeah... lrn2png I think bitmaps are not allowed on purpose... even Paint can save as a PNG, no one has any excuses now
