If that's true, then you won't get 100% on +10 with +0 max either. With +10 speed/thrust I get 100% on those. With +1 maxspeed/maxthrust though, I no longer have 100% on those, while all things else stay the same.

Using afterburners while rushing is good, sometimes.

I'm not sure about negative effects of maxthrust/maxspeed, but I know that when it comes to positive effects, +1 maxspeed and then having +11 speed does not give you 100% speed, it gives you something close though.

maxthrust/maxspeed isnt just about afterburners. Best example of this in the most simplistic way... Total values of Max speed/thrust = 10 One -maxspeed/-maxthrust = Lowers the total value of the two to 9 Now you have carnot doing +5 speed/thrust, however -2/-3 maxspeed/maxthrust. The overall potential is lowered, and also because of that, the actual green value of "+5" is lowered. +1 on carnot is not the same as +1 on ion. You kinda need to think about it in terms of fractions or percentages. It's confusing, and hard to explain, sorry

Look at the -2/-3 maxspeed/maxthrust That lowers the overall values of your speed/thrust.

System Optimizer and Efficiency Booster are similar, but they are different. One concentrates on boosting small aspects of your ship, while the other attempts to increase your weapon efficiency. One will give all around benefits while the other will just mainly concentrate on weapons. So you might have a non-sig weapon, but with Efficiency Booster, it could bump it up right below a sig level, but not so much to the point it becomes overpowered. It doesnt have to be exactly as it is, but this is just to give ideas of things you can do that arent there. If you dont like lowering the bomb delay, then dont put it in there. If you want something else in there, then add it in there. I'm just laying down the groundwork so that at least 70% of it is there, the idea is there and you can fine tune it. I dont expect you to want to put the stats there as is, but to at least get the idea there so that there can be a few new items in the zone that can effect game play. Other than Cyclone and this Efficiency Booster did I suggest a lower or low bombdelay? As a sig, Cyclone having a super small bombdelay makes sense, and with Efficiency Booster, an item that is suppose to make your weaponry better, lowering bombdelay a little makes sense as well.

Out of all of those, the most successful one would probably be the PD levi, I've tried variations of all of those ships, the best one I've played with and rushed with was the PD levi.

If you dont ask questions, you'll never know. Just because we dont know doesnt mean it's not possible. Case in point, having bases that span between two sectors, it wasnt done before, but it's done now. Is it possible to have items that increase maxenergy? For all we know it is possible, seeing as how you're able to increase speed/thrust max values. If you're saying we cant assume/ask if its possible because we dont know, then no one can ask anything really. Just because I cant balance it doesnt mean it's not a good idea to have as an armor or as a sig item. I laid out the groundwork, just balance it more then to your liking. And if you mean the PD thing, have it set as single fire lvl2 no bounce that shoots slower than current PD. There are lots of ways to balance it out I'm sure, but it still doesnt mean it's a bad idea.

I'm sure there are plenty of things that are possible that we havent seen. For example when Ceiu was developing the Kojima thing, it had several new setting aspects that werent seen. Same thing for sysop leetness, there are things in there that havent been really seen, but very possible. Not saying to make it an item, but just stating that there are plenty of things that we havent seen that are possible. New point defenses are definitely possible and there, but not purchasable, of course some of them would need tweaking, but a different kind of PD would be nice. Mabe one that shoots out lvl1 prox bombs or reps every 3 seconds when an enemy is nearby or mines every 5 when you back up, etc. Something not overpowered, but still sig worthy. Or even have a nonsig PD that shoots out like lvl2 nonstop, no bounce

Idk what is and what isnt possible with ASSS coding, for all I know it is possible, you dont know every aspect of ASSS so it still could be possible. The entire point of the brace armor though is to have an armor effective against high DPS weapons, or bunched up bullets. Sharppinger, mass, shredder, etc would be the primary weapons meant for this. Bursts would have an increase of damage of normal plus 500 for each piece of burst shrapnel,. So rushing would be near impossible with these and also all other weapons do normal damage, like bombs, bursts and thors. The only thing effected would be bullets. A rush lanc wouldnt be able to utilize it all that well if at all even. I did think of a lanc rush with this armor, and then it having EI to tank even more for longer, if you had read the post properly you would see it isnt unbalanced in a base and outside it would only be super effective against high DPS weapons. Look up Venting Coils that I suggested.

It's a three man priv team vs who knows how many on a pub team. Of coures if it's 3v5v5 then yeah it's possible, but on normal team sizes of 10 or so, 3v10v10 is impossible to "win" the flag game, at least from the start, meaning 0 dropped flags and they start attacking, of course they can hold the enemy back for a while, but in the end they wont win.

I'd actually like to see items that are universal, more about your name rather than what ship you're in. Kinda like how the AD timer is in regard to your name, not the ship you're in.

Thor is a 99 dollar item, and it's purchasable outside of the center safe. EI is not only a brick, you need a wall mount to use it, but if purchasable in center, could become an item easily abused, but then again putting it in the thor depots as well might not be a horrible idea, it'd let more people want to use it probably.

No, it's not possible nor probable. It's been attempted and you just cant. If you think about it logistically, the lanc would have to drop flags, then the two would have to rush nonstop, but even if one leak happens, which is more than likely to happen when all you have is two rushers, the lancs will reset flags or flags will get reset by enemy touching, if you have to chase a leak, one of the rushers has to go back, so now you have one rusher. Just not possible.

More items in general would be nice. Just to mix things up, and useful items too, nothing like another oracle or something that will only be used by only 2-3 players in the zone. Currently you can carry two bricks actually, but the special bricks, only one of them since they count as two bricks. There are a ton of things that could be tinkered with but arent, like more point defense, sigs that can be customized (within reason of course), super computer/ultra rockets, armors that can protect against inactshrap besides two armors, armor that protects against all bombs very well instead of adds damage to another kind of bomb. There are so many possibilities, but none are being utilized at all.

Allowing double armors or even sigs might be interesting to see if more people would want to lanc in bases. Some combos would be bad, like solid and omega, but it'd make lancing more interesting.

Not being able to balance teams because other team rq's isnt that big of an issue. Especially since the IP locking is meant to help prevent rq because of unbalanced teams. It tries to keep them balance so people dont rq in the first place.

Ranging experiences would probably be better. A player between 0-5999 doesnt have the same effect as 6000-13000. Anything over than that there's really not much difference in terms of ship ability. Not saying there isnt any, but nothing major. So if you were to have players count as 1 between 0-5999 and 6000+ counted as 2 players, that'd probably make more overall sense and it'd be harder to make it unbalanced. Then also locking players on freqs with their IP would also stop hopping and make this less of an issue as well.
