Hyperspace needs a new zone mapper

So far, in the half year or so Psythe has been zone mapper, he has uploaded 2 maps, which he just copied bases off old maps for, something that can be done by anyone, and has done nothing else. Literally 2 maps. Earlier this week, I handed him a brand new duel arena, and had to walk him through literally every step required to upload the map to the zone. I remind you he is the ZONE MAPPER. He genuinely did not know any of the steps at all. He then didn't listen to me for the last 4 steps (setting safety timer, attaching shield module, attaching ship gfx) and then said "remind me later". When reminded later, he did nothing. He then proceeded to delete the arena when he couldn't figure out how to do his job properly, and then took it upon himself to move boxduel elsewhere, an arena possibly as old as hs. When 5 or more players including himself approached him and said "wtf psythe youre an idiot, put it back", he immediately blamed spidernl with some dumb excuse. He then made up some dumb excuse about the zone not needing more than 1 arena with "duel" in the name. He then made up some dumb excuse about the zone not needing any more arenas. Why is this obviously incompetent fool still on the moderator list?

turns out psythe couldnt figure out how to attach ship lvz to the arena, forgot to attach shields to the arena, and forgot to set the safety time limit, so he had the dumb idea to delete ?go duel and then move ?go boxduel to ?go duel instead of actually figuring out how to do his job. now hes making up some dumb excuse like "hurr hurr wy we ned 2 deul arenas hurr hurr" or something equally stupid. turns out you cant even hand this incompetent fool a completely finished product without him screwing it up... .

duelbot tested, tried, & true'd seems to be pretty solid atm, try to break it, and if you actually manage to, tell me how you did, and ill fix it. also let me know if you have any ideas that you want added to the bot, and ill probably be able to add them in.

the asss server platform is open source, and what you are looking for can be found in mapdata.c additionally, i wrote a server side ai bot platform a few years ago, which i plan to make open source in perhaps a month after i finish adding in repels, wormholes, and bricks, which i have to reverse engineer priit's math for. http://forums.minegoboom.com/viewtopic.php?t=8858 it already uses single tier (not stacked) pathfinding i can give you a live demonstration if you are interested.

so i got bored and threw together a new duel arena in 5 minutes or so it is far superior to boxduel in every way. however, i think the box is currently too big, which puts bouncing weapons at a disadvantage. after that i was still bored and made a duelbot as well in an hour or 2. it has basic anticheating countermeasures, and the duel money is held in escrow for the duration of the duel, so now people can use the bot as an arbiter for duel money, so now noone has to deal with shady characters any longer. enjoy
