I see the iPad as the step between a smart phone, and a laptop. Netbooks are often too small, struggle at even basic video play back in terms of processing power and are hardly suitable for pretty much anything due to the painfully small screens/keyboards/trackpads. I'd rather just get a 13" laptop. As I said, I only like the iPad because I think it'll be awesome for ppt presentations, videos and general web browsing. And on another note, due to their release it seems more and more major websites are starting to drop flash requirements, and switching to (the better) HTML5. Wooo

I'd definitely use it for things like lectures, seems like an awesome tool for note taking and general internet browsing. Also looks nice to watch films on. I disagree with Drake though, netbooks are fucking godawful.

I'm pretty sure that if it was as simple as that, Zimm would have just done it himself. I'm pretty sure that the timers aren't that far off as it is, as the bots are already pretty efficient at killing things.
