Without getting deep, I think wikileaks can serve purpose and has, but releasing diplomatic cables was kinda a boring thing just to embarrass the US. I would rather have information that have been covered up, abuse, facts, things that are more important then a embarrassing a country. IF some documentation does put military personals at risk on the field, then it shouldn't be released. However... has there been any such incidences? Because I hear that argument, i'm just curious if any of this has any impact in that area, because i haven't heard of any fallout from that. Although wikileaks media attention is focused around the diplomatic relationships, and military, it also in the past has shared some other information on shadiness with global corporations that have gone without consequences and so on. It's unfortunate these documentations can't be found right now.

I think some of the posters here still don't get that I discussed this with Masaru before I did anything. Calling me abusive for discussing matters with my superiors before acting is a creative way of looking at things, of course. No no, you miss understood, or perhaps manipulating since I was very clear with what I said. (also picking "parts" of sentences and not quoting full sentences loosens anyone's credibility) What is said was is because your staff, and not some joe blow, they will rather look away. It's fine, it happens all the time. I have no "beef" or axe to grind. So I do take a neutral approach to all this. I even provided you with a possible defense in my previous post. ( which you can even use that to expand yours) It's actually common for staff to be more proactive when stuff like this happens to one of their peers. It's like when some one on your squad has a problem with another rivals squad member, you end up picking a side so you don't end up being bipartisan. That makes sense... BUT staff take the position that they do not get involved, even adding the fact that they treat bots as players, which is key. So that means (using an analogy) the government and policing force will not make any type of arrest or penalization if this was a real life bank, cause it does not apply under their roll of governing. So ultimately Morphine, your argument (and similar ones) is dismissed, unless staff position has changed. Which their entitled to do so. Again, this is all really just simple logic.

Good read. If what was said true about staff do not interfere or intervene in any type of money transfers,(including being scammed) and that bots are treated as players, then he does have an legitimate argument. (whether u like him or not) The only counter argument is that staff is in fact involved due to a staff command. But even that's on a thin ice argument. If this was anyone else nothing would have happened, but because he's staff, gives him the advantage and the argument to have staff/peers look away. It's shady, but if there's anything that subspace has taught anyone over the years, this topic was dead before it even started. Of course this is all being looked at logically... and nothing ever is right? but hey...who am i?

Can I know why you want to ban a zone from directory list for using content from a dead and abandon zone? What is the goal in this? I know what SSC's policy say, but, i think someone should start talking about reforms since time has changed from the glories days to a time of dwindling light. Instead of engine shutdown, why not do the name some justice and anyone gets frozen in place, kinda how when you attach to some1 that isn't a lanc, but not to be over powering, (or depending on the size) be periodically.

Ok just viewed it. That's the one they released on E3. I was on my phone when i was viewing this thread so i didn't view the vid at that time. I missed where it said online play, so that's great. But the story looks the same..

Canada is not included because the CRTC won't allow them to operate (allow them access Canadian area codes) according to Canadian law, their Canadian office needs to be 80% Canadian. In other words, if there were was a board of directors 8 out of 10 would need to be Canadian. (no I'm not clear on the details but something like that) A good example is when Wind Mobile wanted to operate in Canada, CRTC said no, then Wind went to the federal government to get special permission. Canada has very sensitive telecommunication laws. Canadian radio broadcasters need to play i think 40% Canadian music or get fined or shutdown. To their defense, they want to keep Canadian sovereignty, so that's why their doing that.

I watched the E3 trailer on my Wii from the Wii Nintendo channel, maybe there are clearer ones...

They weren't clear, but it looks like its just being ported to the Wii, and not a new game. If it is a port, hope they add some extra content and new multi player maps and there better be an online play.
