Well. Radeon HD 2400 Pro, wit DirectX 10 blah blah. The thing cost me $130, and I can manage a frame rate of about 60 if I don't have any tiles on-screen. Speccing over tiles drops it down to 7-20. Wow. I have tried various combinations of the advanced options checkboxes, but none of them seem to make a difference. If I turn on software emulation, I will always have a slow frame rate of 15. In 8-Bit mode, I get a frame rate of 30 easily in software emulation, in 16-Bit or 32-Bit, it's 15. Problem with not having software emulation on is that the frame rate drops instantly if I get a few tiles on screen. Lvz graphics RAPE the frame rate, sometimes it slows it down so much that I can't even get the keyboard to respond easily to get away. Crappy computers that I play this game on, like, ones that take about 2 minutes to enter a zone, get a frame rate higher than this computer that is relatively fast. Uhh... The reason I am here is because I am hoping that somebody around here knows why this is happening, and possibly how to fix this. Anyone know what's going on?
