The first screenshot, with the hypertunnel walls, I personally dislike the obvious pattern in the tiles. A more random or more static tile theme for a very long wall like a hypertunnel wall might be better, IMO. The tiles themselves look nice.

There's three primary events to Hyperspace: Racing in the events arena, Hyperball, and maybe dodge in the events arena. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's a nice range. Base balling to racing. However, a few more events would definitely be useful, probably necessary. The zone could use more events of an even wider range, covering all sorts of aspects. I've wanted to create a CTF event for the zone for a long time, but until a CTF module that is found and that is perfect enough to be applied to the server, we should think about things that can be made with somewhat limited settings and features. Here, it would be useful if people would post suggestions to improve events, ideas for new events and just discuss events in general. Things to think about for event improvement: Current event tilesets, are they bad, do they fit the event? Settings, are ships balanced? Do physics make sense for the event? Event names could be more original Event additions, for example more bases to Hyperball (remember though we are slightly limited, the exact reason why Hyperball's third base isn't used) Event prizes/how often to be hosted and things to think about for new events: Transwarps, like the corner warps, can be created in events. Allthough not very instant, they can be useful Consider all SS gameplay types, like powerball, elim, free for all, turf, warzone (like HS public I think), and whatever else may come to mind Consider ship balance and roles, a lack thereof is acceptable depending on event It is possible to have lvz, even if difficult to get uploaded because of the lack of staffers with the power to do so Prizes User-friendly, noob-friendly Fairness Some events can be hosted in the public arena, like Rabbit. Some shouldn't be. Some may even be hosted in existing arenas Hopefully, some new events will eventually arise. Nice ones, too. Some things: What happened to bombline? That event was fun, if frustrating . It looked like crap, it was something that could've had more time spent on it. I think it aught to be recreated. How often are events hosted? Does rivel host them often? I don't host very often, but I do host a large chunk of it when I host at all. Are events hosted too often, too much? Are rewards acceptable? Input appreciated. I'm going to exclude everyone who hasn't been on in a very long time: Dr Brain is the only one who will update the map, and it'll be past Christmas by the time the map gets updated considering you give it to him today. Trust me. Nothing 'gainst ya doc, just that you have a life is all.

Christmas is like your birthday, you get free stuff, nobody cares about anyone and nobody should. In the end of time, it makes no difference anyway.

An item that either lets bricks be bought in center safe or lets you spawn with a free brick may be just as useful as summoner (sacrificing summoner to brick for team). ... Yeah, but lancs are slow and won't be able to do very much lame bricking, only defensive team-play bricks. I don't watch much, but I think that bricks are neglected as a part of gameplay and should be revived slightly. 10 bricks per flag game could be decent, maybe? Meh

Current duel map is perfectly fine, if your enemy is being lame on the duel map then don't duel them also lol @ unix's crappy map with empty boxes with doors on the front... no reason to have more than 1 box when you can set the pop max for the arena to 2.

Having to search for flags isn't fun, but even with 5 flags people could pick them up and hide them on the walls in the ice bases (best hiding spot EVAR!). If it's really terrible it may be made better, just wait

What Exiili said. It wasn't that hard in the old days, if your lanc got brickwarped, there was always a backup or the whole team would scream "noobs"... works just fine, brickwarping isn't a huge deal

CTF events though and imo ctf is more advanced than warzone, since only enemy team flags can be picked up and brought to your flag to score and lots of other stuff

allthough ctf would be cool but there is no ASSS module that is good enough <_<

I had someone recently complaining about it (cat core) giving you only 8 lives, but they forgot to include the initial life. Oh and the item sounds useless and unnecessary, because it would be only one of the two: Too powerful or too expensive for its value.

The portal resetting bomb delay thing has been mentioned before and back then mods used to punish for abuse of it (it's abuse of a bug). Oh, and TW seems fine to me, it resets bounty, and it takes a while to activate. If anything it should have a little bit of engine failure chance (or more if it doesn't already, I forget), since it's for travel not laming

All of the useful-ish ones are in F1 last I checked

Additionally I'm pretty sure that there's a "where the priv freqs start" setting, along with enough to implement the idea mentioned by ZGMF with one ?quickfix

I remember lockarena having a few problems in the past, regardless ?unlockarena should fix everything I would hope
