  1. I like the packs being packs. What else to say? I don't like the kill messages flooding my screen, HS needs to be shut up for 60 seconds sometimes. ?rewards to toggle those messages, please!

  3. If we nerf bricks any more, I'm gonna cry... Fields cost 20K just to have the ability to use them. Then 1K for a field. Pretty costly, I think. Just remember that it costs money... a field spammer can easily waste their money by having their freq die at the end of a base. Fielding is like a risk of money... I completely agree with you about the concept of "item spam" though. Thoring is about to make me bomb my computer. I wish Siege Packs only gave 1 thor, now that the population is big enough to spam thors at 1/second... even after I tried bomb armor on my spider that has Mezon Capacitor, thors killed me just as easily. Either siege pack loses a thor or Weasel loses some bomb speed(FASTER THAN THE HEAVY BOMBER'S BOMBSPEED?). I guess weasels really do finally have a definite role, but it's kinda overpowered. I mean, the burst doesn't need to be THAT fast. Fast as in velocity AND delay. I wouldn't mind it if weasel had the amount of burst shrap reduced to like 10 or something. ALLTHOUGH - It just hit me. The amount of population we have (huge?) is likely to cause thor spam, just because of how many players can buy just one field every once in a while. So let's limit to 2 fields per freq.

    I think we had a website with things like whoever had the best record, most bounty, etc before, but we lost it after moving servers. I liked this.

  9. Yeah, I believe that in HS, a "mod" gets Lvl 3 BanG, I could very easily be wrong though. And like you said root, I'd enjoy the !@#$%^&*le "mod" more than "jrmod' anyday.
  10. Jrmods are Hi-5, Rareitanium, Boldot, Masaru, and myself. And we've all been jr's for quite a while. Not like we get THAT much more from being promoted anyways, besides a slight guarantee that we stay a mod forever.

  15. I once got local-banned for a week for crashing the easily-crashed HS back then, and I didn't even know how I did it I was sad.
  16. I think Cerium was suggesting a type of flag game module like this. The more flags you have in your flag room, the more money you make every so minutes.

    Umm, I hope you understood that the two Fire's require a Field Launcher, which means no Antideath, and are 1-time use, AND small. Seems balanced to me. I also KNOW that Vacuum is a dumb name, along with all of these... They are just weak examples. And a lot of my old ideas were plain stupid. You can just ignore any of the old weird shaped brick ones.

    Hm, I finally got more ideas. HyperExtreme [bombs] [$150000] [Levi only] Exact same as Salvo. But L3. Mainly for wallbombing. Elemental Gun [Guns] [$20000] [Requires Ammo] --[$100 - 100 shots]---Fire Ammo: Gun is now L1, it's exactly like beam array but requires 0 energy and doesn't bounce. --[$1000 - 100 shots]---Ice Ammo: Gun is now L3, exactly like Plasma Cannon but doesn't take energy. Still bounces. --[$1000 - 50 shots]---Solar Ammo: Gun is L2, bulletfiredelay of 3 [That's 30 shots/second?], takes 5 energy/shot. Vacuum (Probably crap name) [Alien Technology] [$10000] [1-time use] Prize everyone in the arena a severe engine shutdown, including you. Meaning you can't move away from the Alien Tech store without rockets/portal/etc. Dragon [Guns] [$10000] [For ships: 3 4 5 6] Multifire L1 Gun, no bounce, BulletFireDelay=20 (That's same as Pulse Laser's), BulletFireEnergy=20 Data Warp [Alien Tech] [$10000] [1-time use] Force the target non-flag carrying player to be prized a warp. This could be bad against anchor lancs, though. -"That player has AntiDataWarp.", ADW being an item? Or just "You can't warp Lancasters." GreenFire [Field Ammo] [$1000] A Brick Attack sized field that lasts the same time as a Brick Attack, but fires L3 bullets with 0 delay, obliterating anything in its spot. BlueFire [Field Ammo] [$1000] Again, Brick Attack sized, but shoots a burst every second that everyone is effected by. Lasts long as a Brick Attack.
  21. I really liked DS on my first couple weeks of playing, but then I found out that I have to earn all my ships again every time there is a score reset... really turned me off. Another thing I just really hated: Defending base for your team during a whole flag game, then right when they're about to win the JP... you get set to the other freq because of freq evening. Turns out I wasted my time, so I left and went to another zone and didn't come back. I'm not posting this to rant for no reason - I was hoping that the developers of DS would consider these two things, mainly the freq evening. Having to earn your ships again is only a problem because of how difficult the freq evener can be when you try to get points.

  23. Small reward, like, $500 for a goal (Either for yourself or your frequency)... I would assume that the ball can be limited to being in center only with a little module action. Seeing as transwarp can detect flags, it may be easy to detect the ball as well? Fling the player backwards if they gots the ball (Around a center-->hypertunnel gate), FTL is not usable with the ball being held... etc. As 11___ said yesterday, the flankers were getting really annoying in basing, and balling would give'em something to do during the base game. I kind of like having a ball flying around anyways. Even if there isn't goals. Easy way to get hunted.

  25. Yeah, but make a backup copy of the sound, just copy/paste it somewhere else, unless you want to reinstall continuum next time you want to hear L4 bullets... I just went into my sounds and opened gun4 in Sound Recorder, told it to Decrease Volume a coupla times, and now it's not annoying. Better than not having the sound at all, IMO
