Here's the perfect solution to becoming a helpless victim of the system: Do badly in school by causing trouble instead of paying attention to your lessons. At home, in the back alleys or wherever, spread your legs for instant gratification to whomever, pop out a troublemaker, not have the daddy call or give child support, repeat as needed. The least bit of sense would prevent this. I want to share a story with you, there was this black youth by the name of Fredrick, he was about fifteen. Had !@#$%^&* dumped on him day and night, beaten and whipped, called !@#$%^&* and garbage. Instead of sitting there, he decided to pick up books when he could so he could learn to read and write. About seventeen he broke free from his day in and day out taskmaster only to become a great author, speaker educator. Traveled to Europe to speak on his indignities. Let me fill in the rest for you. This young man was Fredrick Dougl!@#$%^&*. During the peak of slavery in the United States he fought back against the worst forms of punishment that his taskmasters could throw at him. He was whipped, cut, switched, worked fourteen hour days on a local Baltimore plantation owned by Mr. Covey, one of the most violent slaveowners around. Starved, dehydrated and left for dead on the floor of a mill barn. then beaten again. He escaped at seventeen to become a real man, a human being who wouldn't let such spite and hate hold him down. Fredrick Dougl!@#$%^&* had written several books at a time where most blacks could barely (if at all) read or write. The worst thing in his life afterwards was the fear that his former owner might pick up one of his books or get word of mouth about his career and head out or send someone to bring back his property, then go through those indignities again. But I digress, todays supposed poor and downtrodden have it FAR worse If this man were smart enough to do the right thing and go through all this, don't you think an inner city (fill in the blank supposedly oppressed) could do the same?

*Laughs* Oh I knew someone was gonna bring up racist crap sooner or later. Let me tell you something. The blacks and hispanics and whoever else you can list have all their freedoms and rights. They do this to themselves. They blame whitiey for their ills. Have you ever gone down to the getto and seen how these s**ts live? They live in their own filty and squaller and blame the white man. They kill because they blame whitey. They have trash removal *if they wouldn't shoot at the trashman* You want to talk about the source, I look at the irresponsible parenting and self inflicted brain damage of trash like this. I have to live and work around this crap on a daily basis. When you hear a mother call their own son "!@#$%^&*, stupid !@#$%^&*. get yo !@#$%^&* down heah befo I beat you. Get mah f***in' breffix!" And the like, where you see other parents who have five kids from five different daddies and blame whitey *stares at the kids and realizes not a single one is mixed* You're right, we do have to look at the source. Burn them out and start over again. This decline has been going on since the fifties and it gets progressively worse each year. Go ahead and call me a biggot or a racist or whatever, the last bastion of those with no real arguement or small mind is namecalling anyway. As for me, as a cash courier I find my .44 is the best deterrent to the death penalty. It's stopped three robberies from happening in the past two years.
-
VEG: You're right, look at Illinois where not only has the death penalty been abolished, but private ownership of handguns in the city of Chicago has been deemed a big boo-boo. As you can pull up from Chi-town newspapers, FBI stats and so forth, these thugs see the lack of a death penalty permission to keep partying until they kill themselves, not the other way around. In DC, same situation, major murder rate, rape, robbery and so on, because the thugs have the gear and normal people don't. Better example, George whatshisname from the beatles, had his mansion with security cameras and high fence busted into. The robber only had a knife, jabbed him a dozen times and robbed him blind. This is in England, the most gun-unfriendly english speaking country I know of. Again, the EU if I am not mistaken has no death penalty as a part of its charter. A few Sledge Hammer guidelines to crime and punishment: The death penalty: Too lienient. Jaywalking: fire a couple of warning shots. Illegal parking in a handicapped spot: Shoot out their tires and make them walk home. Armed robbery of a convenience store, the robber claims he is too poor to buy food: Make the robber eat food that has expired more than a couple of decades ago from the shelves. Purse !@#$%^&*ing: Hit them with your car, handcuff them to your side view mirror or steering wheel and drive to the police station.

Considering joining the service?
MillenniumMan replied to jonmyrlebailey's topic in General Discussion
First of all, nothing but the best to you no matter your decision. But if you do join the service, join the navy, last I checked the army did all the grunt work by mowing lawns. The worst you would have to worry about is dynamite fishing for sharks and worrying about how short the fuse is. hehehe... Joking aside, you hand over your rights as a citizen and become what your DS/MS tells you to be. You will be yelled at, pushed hard, have few comforts during your first two weeks in basic, maybe the next six will be better depending on how much you comply to your DS/MS's demands. If you don't have the need to do for yourself but have others dictate what they want you to do then by all means. I've seen poor ASSS get far worse than yelled at. For instance, there was this guy named myers, he was always a dipship, never listened or anything. One night he had ordered five pizzas for himself and his battle buddies. Three seconds later the DS turns the corner and says WHAT THE F*** IS THIS? Before I knew it, the poor dumb!@#$%^&* was being marched into the dayroom right past me and another guy at CQ and he was made to eat ALL five of the pizzas, with no help. After that, he was forced onto a nighttime march around APG (didn't see that part) This was 00:30 in the morning. Later that morning (5:00) he had to get up and in formation with everyone else. He was paraded up in front of everyone and the sarge asked him in a knowing yet cynical tone out loud "Why are you so tired this morning Myers?" Then he was told to go through the entire sequence of events from the pizza to presentation. Then there was another 4 mile run. So, whatever you decide, good luck to ya -
Smong: Just taking what Synook said a step further, that's all. And when I was doing 2D ships before, I used 10 degree rotation (mind you it was in Milkshape and not PSP, sorry about the confusion) Grav: I remember seeing those up years ago somewhere else (can't remember where) If that's the case, then I'm mistaken. You also forgot the SS briefs Creamy, that's from the old SS CD Jab: Still looking for the end-all-beat-all map. T4 created one, but it was pretty much VIE sized (as in took every bit of the available map space allowed by the engine) Rad6 is more point and click, so it may be possible to get more community members involved in making maps for the game because it's more intuitive, and the render engine is publicly available so one doesn't have to worry about cir!@#$%^&*venting copyrights purchased from the engine creators or the like. On a more final note, if the new engine proves a viable alternative, you may soon see a game similar to that in the video itself *crosses fingers* except without that subspace logo, no streakies and 1st person POV oh, and flat so old 2D players can enjoy it too
-
First off, Grav thx for the kudos. That means a lot. Sanchez got those pics from SSDL, he didn't just render them, they are promo pics. Synook, use PSP5, rotate the first omage 10 degrees to the right per frame then compupic to compile a 10x4 grid for the main ships, rolling requires models or a !@#$%^&* of a lot of time on your part. Jab, I'm trying Rad6's engine first, it looks more clean and straight forward but I'm not sure about support. I'll be trying it out before I decide whether or not to export all my stuff from Rad5.3NW. The last part seems rather narssosistic though, as much as I like thinking it's just mine all mine. Shame there isn't a 3D object plugin for Continuum, that would carry over more to what you were saying, but not require two apps. If they could include lvz and overlays and alpha support then someone could work on a 3D object plugin.

China seeks to 'limit game hours'
MillenniumMan replied to Steigerwald's topic in General Discussion
*Stares at your 928 board messages vs my 129 and our registration dates* Who's busy hitting the X button? You're right though, about many parents being a joke. I look at some of the teens I have to contend with, and I have to really hold myself back from smacking some of them because they get out of control. !@#$%^&*, they have to get a full time cop down here at the library where I do most of my online crap just to handle the little ASSS. Ten years ago when I was a teen, there was none of this crap. I remember most of the parents being able to still reign in their little brats. One of them tried to get a hold of me in the parking lot, if it weren't for the camera out there I would most likely be under indictment for !@#$%^&*ult rather than being able to claim self defense when I laid him and his buddies out. Then I dealt with the loser's daddy and told him off about if he weren't such a bad father by letting the little monster run loose he wouldn't have gotten his !@#$%^&* kicked. I then told him if the boy came near me again I would do worse. Lastly went on to saying that if he had only smacked him around a bit when he got too big for his drawers, which by the way it looks like he had no help getting on seeing as how they were drooping down around his !@#$%^&*, then maybe he wouldn't be so out of control. BTW, teach the boy to dress himself, don't let his mommy dress him anymore. The Deputy Deitz laughed. btw, the little !@#$%^&* in question is 19. Things have been falling apart since the sixties, and all the if it feels good do it crap. It may feel good to you but you are going to inevitably screw someone else over, and that would be bad. Shame on you... -
China seeks to 'limit game hours'
MillenniumMan replied to Steigerwald's topic in General Discussion
*does anime-style smack the begezus out of you for saying that* No we don't! The government should never be in the business of telling children that they've had too much game time, that's the parents job. It starts with the games they play and eventualy the children are back into working in sweatshops for next to nothing. (Here, not there) We have less of a problem with that here, but if you take them away from their PCs/Macs/AltOS eventually they'll run loose on the streets taking out their agressions. The parents should enforce such things by taking away privelages, putting up software that they deem neccesary for disciplining their child and enforcing household rules. Game companies should have their own set of rules for online conduct that their customers have. Common sense will tell you that if they have something to do, they'll have less time to do physical damage in our world. At least it's contained to 1s and 0s. Since SS/CONT/3rdspc is free and isn't centralized in any one country, perhaps we should start advertising more in the chinese market. After all, if there are going to be limits on chinese based servers this will be the perfect time to load SS with a fresh quart of blood. After all, this is a free (both in cost and spirit) game. -

Moo... Sry, been busy with work and stuff. When my new PC is up and running in a couple of weeks I'll be able to compile a new binary for the game. -
Feedback? As in mail the rubbers back in a SASE? Sure I don't mind, but just pay for the postage plz. Can US citizens apply? I had to wander around for a while to find one that fit until the magnum came "no pun intended". And that's another thing, there need to be condom fitting rooms, nothing big, just a hole in the wall near the dressing rooms so you can try on different sizes. I remember buying this pack of green ones and they cut off the circulation. Seven different types later I found my size. They should also have actual sizes rather than make you guess. Now, the magnums get tight sometimes but not strangling my dangling like most of the others. Also, they need to stop using nonoxyl-9. My GF is alergic to that crap so I have to rinse it out before using it. I'm sure other people have this problem. PS, how would a single person give feedback?

Here's an easy method. Find a girl, stake her out for a few days to get her routine. Get a friend of yours who you don't always see, give him fifty bucks to let him let you pretend beat up on, send him after her with a knife and ski mask, not a big knife mind you, and have him try to rob her. Then you step in, "beat him up" he runs off, you have the damsel in distress wrap her arms around you. Who knows, by the end of the night if her adrenaline is still pumping and she's still in the mood you could get laid too If that don't work: Hi, I lost my phone number, can I have yours? "If working at a cash register" And I'm also doing a study on really attractive women, could I have your phone number so I can study you some more? Near the end of a conversation with a girl you meet: Could I buy you and your kids lunch sometime? (If she replies she has no kids) Would you like to have some lunch with me then? *accidentaly* bump into a woman with glasses who looks hot and has a lot of stuff in her arms so she drops some of it, then stare into her eyes but look sheepish like you never met such a godess before and strike up a conversation. Then ask her if you could call her sometime. If none of that works, ask your buddy for your fifty bucks back and head down to the highway and pick up a mangie looking one.

The half of the Scarface soundtrack (1983 movie) with lyrics, I'm an !@#$%^&*hole by dennis leary (I use this while buzzing the military base in a P51 or the VTOL in san andreas), if you're in a cloaked ship - rockwell's somebodys watching me, strutter by kiss, if you're on a mad basing dash in one of the CTF zones and the odds are next to impossible but you think you can take the base - dare by stan bush.

Jab, all you have to do is right click on the banner, it'll give you the properties for the banner, like where it's located. As for being on SS, I haven't been able to get on for quite some time. I still need to get that new HD so I can have more room to work, reinstall WinXP so my folders arent read only and get a connection to the internet at home rather than at the library down the street so I can play SS, TS. Cp. First, who are you? Second, we're trying to keep the editor close to the devs so as to prevent too much meddling. (that, and I don't want to answer the same questions for a lot of people over and over) -
Ace, at least let the little ASSS take a swing at you first before cracking their f***ing skull open. Better still, let them approach you in a threatening manner such as having an ugly look and getting too close, so you're justified when you say he/she/it was going to attack you. Here in MD they have a vagrancy law, if you have no ID and less than a dollar on you, you can be held without any other cause for vagrancy if you get too loud. And no, having clothes on you is no proof of income, you could have stolen them. Back on topic. The kids nowadays have no concept of consequence. If they act up, hit they, but don't brutalize them.

jab, gotta give me your email address. I finished the editor hack. Witchie, I really don't want to reinstall WinXP to get rid of the read-only problem that's haunting my PC. Until I find a solution there's no way I can compile anything. -

Ahh... you're remembering mine and T4's version of subspace3d for the continuum client where he did all the ortho map tiles and I did ships and stuff. Nope MillenniumMan , real SUbspace 3d , there was the ship ( warbird ) + bullet lvl 1 + bomb lvl 1 and A base that u cant enter in , in the space no where with some galaxy image , very basic but was a good start ( not ur old 3d fake thing ) That was CNL then, the 3D client T4 and I were working on before renaming it thirdspace. -
One thing that you can observe since the 60's is that where corporal punishment has dropped off, crime has steadily risen. Poor inner-city blacks for instance don't really go slapping their kids as much and tell them what they did wrong anymore like they did in the 50's. Now they either ignore the problem due to fear or laziness or whatever and the little ASSS run loose causing trouble. Look at the menendez boys, they had it all except for a proper upbringing. Their parents rarely spanked them or used other kinds of punishment, just bought their way out of messes. Well, their little do-no-wrong sweeties killed them for lack of real discipline and overspending on their problems. Same goes for therest of our failing society as a whole. When greater punishments have been thrown aside in favor of a slap on the wrist and public humiliation has been put on the back burner, it gives most young (who later become older career criminals) adults the impression that it's ok to pull the crap that they do because there is a lack of consequences. 3 strikes and your in for life is crap, it's not really a law just an idea that's not readily enforced. Now, when monkeys act out in public, it should be a womans duty to spank that monkey until the hardening issue is relieved.

It's a shame that the continuum client wasn't open source like Duke Nukem 3D. Some of you probably have seen the enhancements made in D3D with real quake3 models built around the original software. If that could have been done with continuum, we would already have a completed client
