  1. And you're from where again AP?
  2. Milkshape for me and T4 used.... Ehhhhhh........ I forget. I think 3DSMax
  3. Wait. They're models? They actualy look like cardboard cutout models. If I get a good digital camera I'll get a pic of the WB I did.
  4. While some of you PANZIES were ASLEEP, our MEN and WOMEN of the U.S. Military and coalition forces managed to find Saddam in a farmhouse (no doubt -*BAD WORD*-ing and torturing some poor goats for pleasure) For those of you who wish to see your hero now or to see what kind of roadkill trophy we just bagged:
  5. Hmmmm....... cardboard toys
  6. kinda late to apologize when Akai get all of the server stuff back up and running properly again, CNL's site will be back up.
  7. We were accused of bull-*BAD WORD*-ting the community, but here we are and noone can deny it... Eventualy this will be a far superior game compared to what it is now, but for now there's so many problems with everything that the fact that it loads and you can fly and shoot and see some games in progress is enough. Actualy, the holo-display for the ABIGM (Art Bell Intergalactic Museum) is something that you can fly through.
  8. Eh...... the instrumentation failure was traced back to the Oconner Domanic plant in Dearborn, Michigan. Firestone also installed the landing struts on your warbird so you might do some accidental barrel rolls in space when you're not expecting it Actualy, it was supposed to be a network capable health bar but this is one of the many things that haven't yet been properly implemented. All the .X based items that have realtime network properties and have to be tracked in game because of movement and have a bearing on gameplay have collision. But that's only for those items, that leaves out the space station, sun, earth moon and nebula (although, if you fly through a nebula it's just gas so no need to make a collision for that is there?)
  9. This is the bug that causes all three weapons to spawn and fire at once, yes... This is something that we hope will be fixed by the next or following release.
  10. Yeah, we've had reports of a few ppl not being able to download the entire installer to their HD. It usualy comes out corrupt for them. Just keep trying til you get the entire 6.16mb file, clearing your internet cache should help.
  11. No, this is a far cry from "that stuff" This is it's own game in every respect.
  12. System specs? OS:WinXP Ram: CPU: DX version: Videocard: Bus speed:
  13. Leep!: No point and click FPS, no mouse interface at all. That was thrown out early on in the planning and design phase. Wood = Good, Mouse = Bad. *no idea why I said that just now* Ricebowl: I hope you're kidding... Follow the link and see for yourself. http://cnl.sscentral.com Mister Manners: I remember when Merc Ground Warfare got started. I hope this fairs far better.
  14. This forum is for all things having to do with Continuum: Next Level. Have suggestions, bug reports, -*BAD WORD*-es, submissions? Here you go. Once in a while, when a new release is made, an announcement will be made here simutaneously with the site at The CNL Homepage Also, if me or T4 get stuck on something along the way we may ask for your help. This could be DirectX animation, brainwork, testing, gfx or whatever we might stumble on from time to time.
  15. You're kidding me, right? Tell me it's a taunt, not your actual thoughts. Ok, i'll go on and naively think you're baiting me into a long rant about US expansionism, paternalism, etc. It's a taunt. Don't get your creps' in a bunch. In alot of ways you're less backwards than the USA.
  16. To CR: I know it sucks not having a permanent place to live until your dad leaves the service. Until then you and he and anyone else you may have running with you will have to make some sacrifices. Veterans is a reminder to most folks that sometimes there is a price for the freedoms we enjoy. Unfortunatley there are -*BAD WORD*-s that take this for granted and have veterans day sales, memorial day sales, 4th of july sales and so forth. If it comes down to having a 9-11/patriots day sale I will start going ape-*BAD WORD*- and hunt those morons down. To Akai: Armies aren't stupid, it's those that run them that make them good or bad. Albeit I'd prefer a cons!@#$%^&*utionaly established continuus continental militia (reference Cincinatus, Roman General) in which we the people were the running army, defending the country. Albeit you have professional soldiers who have the training and career military men who shuffle paperwork and troops to get things done worldwide, I'd like to see normal people take a greater role once again. Sure we have the national guard and coast guard, but not enough full time reservists amongst the civilian population. To montezuma: I say the IDF is the best. Surrounded by all those towelheads, and they're still alive after 50 years. Any other army and they would have been wiped out a long time ago. To X_Paine o/: And diplomacy is the politicians way of saying nice doggie til you can find a rock big enough to bash his brains in with (N. Korea and Iran) To Bacchus: Americans think of you guys as the backwards re-*BAD WORD*-ed cousin, we're very protective of you guys and do what we can to help. We wouldn't dare smack you. We may say you did a bad thing and send you to your room once in a while but we wouldn't attack you. Problem is you guys keep letting the bad neighbors kids into our front door so they can break our stuff... To Manus CelWTF your name is: That's right, nobody hates you guys. You're just buddies with everyone *sees a rabid Roo hoppin' into camp wired with explosives* Please don't attack me with your airforce and your superior naval powers JK Ahh to not have enemies. -*BAD WORD*-, even the swiss have enemies, they're called the I.R.S.
  17. They know what side their bread is buttered on. Keep the civilian population safe while wasting the bad guys and you get your money. Deduct a percentage from the final bounty for each noncom killed. If they shoot or attack you then wax 'em! Besides, paid bounty hunters (at least the guys I know) keep meticulous records for their tax records at the end of the year.
  18. I don't do that, our corrupted government does that. If it were up to me I'd send in hired guns, real good bounty hunters who do this thing for a living but don't blindly follow orders. You know, I've been meaning to ask. What is it you brits do for the 4th of July?
  19. I can imagine the scenario now This is the Big City PD! *BANG* (wanted level **) -Punk stands at the red light waiting for a fast ride- He took mah car! *squish squish squish* (wanted level ***) -chopper flies in- PREPARE TO DIE! you cant say that it's against regulations! I HAVE THE BULLHORN! -punk gets out, flips around on the mouse wheel and selects a bazooka- *VAWOOSH* *KABOOM!* (wanted level ****) -gets back in the car- "She's on fire... with the heat of the beat beneath her feet... she's on fire... and the name of the game is to fuel her flAA-AAme... She's on fire fire fire fiiire...." -sees swat ahead with shotguns and uzi 9mm- *squish squish CRASH* (wanted level *****) -swipes a new car- Oh my gawd, you one crazy -*BAD WORD*-! "Come back to mah block and I'll break yall balls, 'cause I'ma gangsta dawg! Giiiiiving it all that we goooooot!" -sees a roadblock with half a dozen black unmarked FBI cars ahead- -slams the brakes, hits enter gets out of the car, flips around on the mouse wheel and selects a molitov -*BAD WORD*-tail to toss at the FBI guys.- You've done made Roscoe mad boy! *BANG BANG* Eerrrrase him... make him disappear! *BANG* -gets back in the car and speeds off- (wanted level ******) -all of a sudden two rhino tanks appear out of nowhere and chase the suspects car down, but they're too slow to catch up.- *PING PING PING PING PING* -car starts to get riddled with bullets from above by two choppers, so suspect heads to the park and ride before getting perforated- -suddenly the car catches fire, suspect bails out in time to get slightly singed.- -suspect sees a change of clothes in a nearby car and takes them. all he has to do now is drive out through the alley entrance hidden from the choppers view- (wanted level ) Yeah sure, I can see the army being called in for one guy over an inner city criminal matter. Now if you don't mind, I have to head to my GFs house. She's gonna unwrap her birthday present
  20. Gee, all this time I thought you locked the topic. Ok smart!@#$%^&*, point out the person in this typical security camera image taken from your typical commercial security camera. Then identify features. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/josephgrant/sec1-101603.jpg The most common problem with security cameras is that when they record, they record to used video tapes over and over again, which causes lossy quality, not to mention the fact that alot of security cameras still run at NTSC in this country which is rather low res. So if thise were a bank, they could still hold it up while brandishing the same gun which looks like thousands of other guns on the planet minus the serial number which you couldn't see anyways without looking really close *1-2 feet away*, they could still use it over and over again until some good samaritan came by and capped them or they had a car accident and -*BAD WORD*-ed themselves over. BTW, this was taken at the Harford Community College student center in case anyone cared. I've been going over some instances where the citizenty had been more well armed than the cops and had been able to help. The Texas A&M clocktower shooter incident, where the ex-marine with the brain tumor had started wasting people left and right. The cops couldn't do anything because their weapons couldn't reach. The citizenry had to come out with their hunting rifles to stop this one guy who had the upper hand from his position on the tower. The North Hollywood bank robbery incident. Yet again the cops were outgunned. A nearby gun store owner started handing out what are now considered illegal semi-auto weapons in kali to the cops and any citizen who was willing to take up arms and grease these -*BAD WORD*-s. BTW, the Kali gov forced the same store out of business soon there after with their stupid -*BAD WORD*- laws. So much for a win for the good guys huh? The -*BAD WORD*-ing cops couldn't even cap them from 50 feet away. Even when there wasn't suppressive fire from the robbers, they still couldn't do the job they were "trained" for. And for a good laugh, one of the surviving shooters sued the city of Los Angeles for 1.5 mil for greivous injury AND WON! Thank you ACLU! Bonnie and Clyde Parker and friends made a long trail of holdups across the midwest, using thompson machine guns a colt .45 and a newly released Colt 1911-A *nice new toy back then* But it wasn't completley the BI's *now FBI* doing in bringing them down. An ambush had been set up by local law enforcement, the BI and several local farmers armed with shotguns that could split a man in half and deer rifles in Sailes, Louisiana on May 23, 1934. Ironicaly the first thing they were charged with was Grand Theft Auto under the National Automobile Theft Act, which made it a crime to steal a car and transport it across state lines *stolen in Illinois and driven through texas, oklahoma and finaly michigan where it was abandoned*, which is what got the feds initial attention on them and not the bank holdups.
  21. 1: Where you said "And your point being" 2: No they just whine when things don't go their way and surrender at the first sign of trouble. 3: Of course, we're so xenophobic we have open borders and let everyone into our country... What a horses -*BAD WORD*-. But let me get back to the statement. They are in fact the most snobbish people I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. Give me a brit or a korean any day of the week. They at least have more respect and a true culture, and not one that's borrowed from -*BAD WORD*--slinging chimpanzees. 3-A: Uncultured - Compound Verb; Without culture. Look it up. 4: Of course American money is worth more, our economy is far superior to not just canadas, but many others on the planet, including the failing euro. 4-A: I can pay for almost any pleasure, the rest might get me arrested. 4-B: Since I get mine for free, I've never had to pay for it. 5: NAFTA, The North American Free Trade Agreement. God boy, learn some recent history, it was passed almost ten years ago. 6: Huh huh... he want's me 7: A matter of principle. Point is, I still believe that people should do whatever and own whatever they want just so long as it doesn't infringe on the lives of others. The fact that elites have told us what we can and can't own/do/say in recent years has me more than a little pissed off. If I had the cash, I'd run for public office in a second and start tearing down all the -*BAD WORD*- that's been built up since the weimar republic treaty from WW1. Admittedly that was a german problem but it spread like wildfire til it -*BAD WORD*-ed this country over royaly. On track: Does the phrase Menendez Brothers mean anything to you? How about Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold? OJ Simpson? No??? They're far from impoverished, unemployed or uneducated. Admittedly, those who bust their !@#$%^&*es doing 9-5 or worse jobs get -*BAD WORD*- on constantly and need improved pay. But the ones I'm talking about just refuse to work to improve their lives regardless of income or background. There are those that choose to -*BAD WORD*- up their lives through inaction or violent action. Do you think they should be made to feel comfortable or be helped? I say build a big rocket, stuff the little -*BAD WORD*-ers in there tighter than sardines and shoot it into the sun! Ok, that's technicaly infesable, but you get the point.
  22. hhaha, and ì'm the one being refered to as a nazi! laff, you're a -*BAD WORD*-ing joke man Anyway, you're point being? Whatever floats your boats buddy. No wonder you like our red lights, our ASSS are cheaper, heh? All in all, and statistically speaking, canadian crime rate is still WAY under yours...and firearms are regulated and most are prohibited. yea, i'm a Michael Moore fan, and Bush is a moronic loose cannon. Glad to see you admit to being a nazi. That's something I've noticed. You don't have alot of black people in your country, alot are shipped in from here. Why is that? Is it that NAFTA thing? I think that's the case, it's the only way we could do real business with you people, by making sure you were more culturaly flavored. And NO! Having French lineage doesn't count since being french is still very uncultured. Now retreat before I chase you with soap and water... And yes your ASSS are cheap, but I wouldn't use them if you paid me to pay them. It's like the old saying goes, you want high quality, gotta pay high price... And I don't think of Bush as being moronic, but yes, a loose cannon. He's still an everyday guy.
  23. wow, go ez on me man! i live in Canada. As it is, firearms are regulated in almost all occidental country apart from US. calm down, there's isn't evil nmies and terrorists on those forums. oh by the way: get a life. I think the question isn't if one could have a gun for self-defense but why do you feel that you need to defend yourself? do you live in such a dangerous neiborghood that you'll feel better protected by having a gun? wow, freakin' far west heh partner! why don' ye go do they cow? And yet another reason to close off the northern border... The only saving grace you guys have is listed in the thread that started this thread, the one about the AOC. Oh, and low cost drugs and your red light areas. And yes, I do have a life, so lick my stick beotch! Mad, a revolt isn't the only reason but it may well come to that someday. But again you haven't been paying attention to both threads. I had used my PPK for defense, I also live in a great area (Aberdeen Proving Grounds) even still, there may be another time when I'd have to use my gun in such a fashion again. Since I do alot of traveling into Baltimore city, which you may remember has had the highest murder rates in recent years (BTW, Joe Curran attorney general tried to do a statewide ban on ownership of handguns, but realized that would be suicide realisticly and politicaly) so chances are I may be required to brandish it or dare the need arise, fire it at someone who under other cir-*BAD WORD*-stances may be thought of as a human being. Mind you, most of the people in the downtown area who own guns are thugs and filthy -*BAD WORD*-s who make the lives of the good people a living -*BAD WORD*-, and if the good guys would start arming themselves there really would be a signifigant drop in crime involving armed robbery, rape and murder simply because these monsters would be fearful of getting capped for something as insignifigant as $50!
  24. Madhaha: Yes, it's indoctrinated fear. That can be just as powerful as a gun. Dark Nexus: You just made a new friend Bacchus: And what country is this? 1939 Germany? And it's the second amendment. How about that first amendment.... yeah lets get rid of that too, after all it's just an annoying little thing when people say something that pisses them off. We have to curb that also... Seig heil you pig! Akai: Yes, unfortunatley there are some LEOs out there who use their guns as hunting licenses. They're the kind of people who shouldn't be trusted with the use of a knife and fork at lunchtime, let alone something that can do bodily harm or the saftey of the people they swore to protect. But there are many good LEOs out there that use common sense and are good folks.
