  2. k, bai. Stop posting, you're leaving anyway.
  3. At the same time I feel humiliated and relieved. lol. Thanks.
  4. I don't know, but only Mavericks website exists in http://bots.sscentral.com/. Subspace Downloads doesn't have what I need either. I'm looking for MERVBot Build 46, and now I might aswell ask: Where on earth is the entire bots directory / bot websites? O_o They all seemed to disappear except for Maverick's.
  5. !Hasta la vista! There goes another one. Hope to see you again in the community in a few years.
  6. Low hasn't been online for days. It's kinda hard to catch him. :\
  7. DirectX 9.0c Shaders; Perhaps some distortion effects on the explosions, and a matrix distortion OR a motion blur effect on bullets. Maybe improve the wormhole with some awesome shader effects - glare and maybe some distortion, and as you would get closer or get warped, your entire screen would be fading into a hyperspace effect. Shaders, just in general! OpenGL instead of D3D! From 0 to 99999 total frequencies. Be able to have up to like 1,000,000,000,000 points. 3D overview ships! It would remove the need for animations and lighting. The map could have light/sun properties that would show themselves uppon the [minimally?] bump mapped ship. Of course, you wouldn't really see the very bottom of the ship unless you had another feature perform flips or barrel rolls or something. Better rotation method. Instead of having a rotation that rotates your ship every 8 degrees or whatever it was, why not remove this and leave it up to 3D ships to do the trick of rotation. Lights wouldn't affect tiles or lvz (although there might be an option per specific lvz graphic to allow shadows/light casting to dynamically/print), but would affect ships. Either you could have a sun or not. If you don't, you'll see your ship with its "lights" on, kinda like in the oldschool DOS Raptor game. Man, if some of Continuum was more 3D, it could change a lot of things and introduce a bunch of new ideas and tricks. EDIT :: Semi-3D Top View (certain things would be 3D objects [specifically ships], while tiles and such would be 2D)
  8. If you're offering billing hosting, you've already been beaten to it a few weeks ago: http://forums.minegoboom.com/viewtopic.php?t=6594 (24th of August, 2006) Public Biller established on a dedicated server on OC48 (with a connected database), offering BanG access to zone owners. If you're offering zone hosting, good luck - I hope your network is successful.
  9. Subspace will never die. Nobody can force you not to have a SubGame, Subbill, Subdir, or to update your Continuum client. These are things that can't be taken away.
  10. Doesn't work. He'll come back openly flaming people in public. *hides behind corner*
  11. alright then ok, if you want. Fine. If thats the way you want it. Whatever pfft rofl hijacked. why are we making this superquote now? Hummm? we can seconded sigh
  12. Spyed lost his mind. But hopefully this (according to Cyberise) webserver takes weekly/nightly backups. A simple restore should do the trick, and all of Spyed's attacks would be useless. He's obviously ruined his reputation (ruined it earlier, and finished himself off with this nasty blitz). He's not one to be trusted any more. -_-
  13. Would it be possible that when I save my MapA.lvl that its walltiles that I also have saved as MapATiles.(whatever the extension is), and then reload MapA.lvl, it would also reload the walltiles that were saved with it? It gets bothersome to open different maps and manually having to load the walltile files for each map. :X Maybe DCME could store map walltile history data so that when you open MapA.lvl it will look back in its history log to see what walltile file you were using when you saved the map last.
  14. Would it be possible to make it so that it would select the whole map when CTRL A is hit using the selection tool, just like in Photoshop? EDIT :: Nevermind. I just realized that v1.2.68 had a working CTRL A feature. My bad.
  15. Drats. :\ I'll add that to my wishlist (although its useless and there is little chance PriitK will be here).
  16. http://www.subspacedownloads.com/index.php?act=file&fid=187 What I would consider the standard tile editor. -_- Meh. Why not? There must be an explanation and ability to change them. Is there some kind of limit that allows you to only texture 19x10 set? I would have thought that these extra tiles would be exactly as the same as the 19x10 set, except by default without any texturing, being 'black' basically (some with black being transparent).
  17. It is possible to 'texture' the special tiles though, isn't that right? You just need an editor that supports that many tiles. :X I think you should make a replica of the current standard Tile Editor and improve the replica features / GUI.

    problem

    From your duplicate thread.

    problem

lol. You aren't sopossed to be getting any kind of blue flashing screen of death. If you do, it can be either of the following (that I could think of): (1) Bad drivers, or drivers that somehow corrupted / messed up Windows XP, (2) Bad, old, faulty, or possible incompatible hardware. (3) Anything to do with the CPU overheating or being clocked too high, or chipset damages/issues. (4) Overvoltage streaming of power to any part/certain parts (ie. RAM, CPU, etc). I think you need to reinstall Windows XP and see if it happens. Telling us your system specs (as well as how old your computer might be ) should help progress further to correct this problem. If you have your CPU overclocked or anything, I might suggest setting it back to the default factory settings and see how it works. :\

  21. Yes. It's better "safe" than "sorry."
  22. Indeed. Maybe we could suggest it to the DCME team although this doesn't have much to do with mapping? http://www.subspacedownloads.com/index.php?act=file&fid=59
  23. Another bug, I guess. http://www.hlrse.net/Qwerty/dcme_horivertisyncbug.gif I don't know how to explain it well, so I'll just list you the steps to do. 1. Make sure you check 'Same as Horizontal Lines' 2. Set the 'Block lines Every: XXX Tiles' under Horizontal Lines to 54 (doesn't matter what number actually). 3. Click Apply, then Ok. 4. Go back to the options under the grid tab. 5. Notice that the 'Same as Horizontal Lines' is now unchecked. Shouldn't it always be checked if you check it?
  24. .gif worked for me in v1.2.66 Anyway, the following bug still exists.
  25. It isn't. The 'first' (dcme_nogridhere.gif) and 'third' (dcme_gridagain.gif) in v1.2.66 aren't fixed. Not sure if you are referring to the same thing?
