Looks very helpful for newbie programmers. I'll be expecting its completion so that I may give it a small shot. :]

I think it would be possible with a ton of mathematics and a major headache, and a perhaps some CPU-Power. Of course it wouldn't be perfect, but the resultant could be perfected as best as possible by hand. By taking a photo of say like a building at an angle, one of Microsoft's WIP programs (or other companies/scientists/whatever - I saw this technology in developement on Slashdot) it can transform it into a 3D model. Again, of course it wouldn't be perfect - but it would be a better start than nothing. It would probably take a lot of time to make a calculator for a project like this, as it would have to take all those split-second still angle shots (top, bottom, front, back, left/right) and try to put it together like a puzzle...or maybe if you put it a little more CPU effort it could also use the animation as a whole to make the calculations.

DirectDraw...What DirectX version are you using (not quite sure how relavant it is)? If you haven't already, upgrade to DirectX 9.0c http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en The thing I usually do when I get an error related to a missing file, unloadable file, etc - is to Google that file, download it, and install it. Usually I manage to find instructions off of one of these website on installing it. A filesize meter during the Loading/Downloading screen, or.. A Loading-Greet-Message, an arena message shown to those who are going through a Download Loading session. The option to have the default Greet message disabled for users who see the Loading-Greet-Message (though they would see the regular Greet if they did ?go after a successful download or rejoined the zone).
