  1. Um, none of the replies to this thread have anything or very little to do with this thread. *sigh* Anyone who lived through 2002 to 2004 has a good chance of knowing what log I'm specifically requesting ("you know who you are"). It was a rather infamous (famous?) log that spread itself out in the community (naturally).
  2. I'm sure some of you remember back years ago in the early to mid 00s before the priviledge of m!@#$%^&* flaming was reduced to ashes. I am looking for that log/email of my emo self during those years. Anyone remember or have a clue which one it was? It was after I was 'hacked' and threatened to 'call the FBI.' Gotta love these classics.
  3. That and decided to stay more neutral about the whole subject, as well as keeping it to myself. I admit I was wrong, and my prejudging (and without actually looking into the do!@#$%^&*ent but taking it for granted) was especially wrong. Next time I will read through something myself before I decide to even consider posting about it.
  4. Hahhaha, ok.
  5. Hah, even NIST (National Ins!@#$%^&*ution for Science and Technology) questions the truthfulness of 9/11. http://www.911proof.com/NIST.pdf http://commdocs.house.gov/committees/scien...hsy24133_0f.htm http://wtc.nist.gov/pubs/factsheets/faqs_8_2006.htm (Links ordered from newest to oldest.); besides that, a gigantic list of 100s of professors, engineers, architects, senior military/intelligence service/law enforcement/government officials, professors, entertainment and media professionals, survivors and family members, 50+ some pilots and aviation professionals @ patriotsquestion911.com. Sorry about the structure of that body of text..was a copy and paste setup.

    Soldat

Played it a year or two ago. Reminded me of Unreal Tournament in a 2D style.
  7. So then, that settles it. None of us know any actual truths, and when it comes to things like this -- it's totally legit to not settle on a "fact." I'm having a bit of trouble interpretting the tone of the rest of your post, but I hope it isn't negative. If it is, really, that just brings in words like "naive" and such. I'd like to see those unknown number of classified do!@#$%^&*ents for evidence then. You really don't know, do you? If you knew, you would know what's going on behind your back. I know you're going to reply with a comeback trying to argue me down, but it'll only settle this 'arguement' by itself. It isn't me or you to judge, but the people who read these posts. They can make up their own mind. Apparently you've made up your own mind and would rather stick with your government, despite the fact that we've not had a Cons!@#$%^&*utional president for a looong time.
  8. And there happens to be several examples of police officers (mostly in New York) violating such pact and getting away with it. But this is up to you do find out. I thought I already gave a link to a page listed with several of these. Either way, I've witnessed this on YouTube and Break too (non-InfoWars). When it comes to politics, I don't believe it is fair to "play the game" in scientific terms and facts. Unless you were God Himself, you don't know every single detail, nor do I. Take the CIA/FBI for example; classified do!@#$%^&*ents. How many more thousands of classified secrets are kept hidden? The CIA isn't necessarily forced to reveal anything, so they have the priviledge to declassify do!@#$%^&*ents as they please. A few months ago I watched "The Atomic Bomb Movie," a do!@#$%^&*entary about atomic bombs. On one of the bombs, they didn't know its effective yield simply because that single piece of detail was still classified. You don't know what the CIA has behind the curtains, atleast not the majority of it. I'm not saying I know more, less, or the equiviliance of you. I'm simply saying that I don't like to state everything as it were a solid fact, what the media says, what the politicians say, etc. Politicians put their hand on the Bible and swear an oath to uphold the cons!@#$%^&*ution. Since when have we actually had a President who has abided by that? I don't like to stick around these kind of topics for long because I've tired and exhausted myself with all the things I've encountered in the past years (if you ask me, this subject took the heaviest and densist influence in my life last year). They say Osama Bin Laden's Arabic terrorists attacked the World Trade Centers on 9/11. I don't doubt it happened on 9/11, but the detail about "Osama Bin Laden" and "[Arabic] terrorists" is what I wouldn't state a fact. I could go along with the flow, but I'll never settle on this until the moment I die and find out then.
  9. I personally prefer this one because it is traditional. This might be good for a "wiki"-like search and/or database.
  10. *Nobody in specific* So, why do you say he deserved to be dragged out and be tasered?

    Quake2

A few years ago my cousin in Hungary sent me this freeware version of Quake 2 or something. Joined his active server and played in it. Can't recall too much other than that it was indeed an active server.
  12. Lots of excellent suggestions and missing features from the old Subspace client -- but it will probably never happen.
  13. Nope. Your hardware setup sucks; it will happen to any recording software you use. Using a pure SATA-II setup should be adequate for a decent framerate. The best setup is to use a TV-Tuner/Camcorder combo.
  14. http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/septe...nt_tazering.htm
  15. Hmm, Jack Thompson could sue anyone who distributes/plays Subspace. Of course this is possible, but the chances of it happening?
  16. I wouldn't doubt if this were true. Nobody wants to spend money on a free game, like Subspace. Am I to be shamed to offer money for bot plugins, bot and zone hosting? (If the answer is yes, this either you or the community is ridiculous and a total shame.)
  17. Make a program that makes sure that I'm always connected on my dialup connection (as long as this program is running in the background). If my modem gets disconnected, I'm kicked from the dialup server, or whatever, then the program would simply initiate a reconnect until it successfully reconnected. :]
  18. Nope. Language is one of the hardest things for me. I had to goto ESL in elementary school (primarily because my parents spoke pure hungarian for the first few years of my life, until I went out into Public schooling). Had to adjust. Not sure if it counts, but I couldn't tell or didn't know the concept of "opposites" back then either, so the state !@#$%^&*igned someone to me to teach me the concept of opposites and I think similarities. I will admit though, I have attempted to learn C++ on my own using the internet and a book several times within the past 5 years. I have failed in each attempt because the book isn't human, and the internet isn't as helpful as a personal/on-demand tutor is. The real way I can learn something like C++ is if someone is socially close enough to me to help me with all the thousand questions I encounter along the way and problems. I do have a copy of Visual Studio 2005 Pro installed though. Hmm, strange. Some Half-Life mods use fmod for MP3 support (Goldsource [aka the engine Half-Life runs on] does not support MP3 files, and fmod.dll isn't even included with or anywhere by, from, or through Valve). Half-Life: Sven Co-op for example -- the mod's installer involves including fmod.dll into /half-life/ (the same directory hl.exe is located in). Actually that's more like something you or someone would have to code in manually. :S
  19. And tables for the most part are not necessary. Tables are meant to display tabular data, not to be the placeholders for graphical website designs. Say you took the Creatix SSCentral design and made two versions of it: tabled and pure CSS. The one with Pure CSS would be the most efficient and overall the smallest in filesize (long-run atleast). Basically the question your asking is also kind of the same as asking "why use XHTML/CSS/WC compliant pages in the first place? Simply tables aren't appropriate to use for most cases (oh, and aren't they a bit harder or take longer to render too?). XHTML/CSS/WC pages do load faster for me on dialup than do the opposite. It's almost like you're writing a formal paper... If you ask me, it's still pretty nice to look at even when images haven't loaded yet. I would rather see one of these pages than one that loads based on progression (like progressive-loading JPGs).
  20. If I knew how to program, I'd probably turn out to be a one of a kind programmer: programming > life. D: Don't have to take my words for it...they don't mean anything until it could be shown.
  21. Well, that's what I call "browser-wars." Pretty much each and every browser out there are trying to set a global standard based on their "opinion" (probably not the right word to use, which is why I put it in quotes). Firefox != IE != Opera != Safari 1= Netscape I'm !@#$%^&*uming for Netscape and Safari, since I've never used them and made comparison. I've once written a design in as logical and simple code as it could ever get.. and guess what? None of the browsers displayed the code like it was supposed to be. I mean, if you're planning on designing something for one specific browser, it isn't that hard at all. But when it comes to cross-browser compatibility, compatibility with all resolutions (auto stretching in all directions including font), etc (anything in a combination), it becomes a webdesigner's nightmare. It makes me angry and very frustrated when I encounter witty problems that shouldn't even exist...angry at the people who constructed browsers and decided to go their own personal standard. :<
  22. Now if you really wanted to find out the answer for yourself rather than expecting us to say yes or no, you could have tried your question in less than 60 seconds to see if it would work. I just debunked it with the previous quote-reply. It was an easily testable question and could take anyone no more than 2 minutes to perform it. If you are on XP, then you should have no worries. If you are on Vista, you shouldn't have any worries (as it was apparently designed for DirectX10 -- which is available for Vista only, which must mean that it has to work on Vista as normal). Just host a server with bots, rootbear.
  23. Well since Smong abandoned the project, I would need someone (or more people) who are experienced with PHP, MySQL, C++/C#/anything that works for MERVBot. The MERVBot plugin would require a MySQL library, which is doable (aka this whole project is doable, and I know that for a fact). Smong was doing the PHP/MySQL side of things (and a little bit of HTML and CSS), me doing HTML and CSS, and allshallperish the C++ and MySQL. Now taking Smong and allshallperish out of the equation leaves us with PHP, MySQL, and a programming language. It should be very possible to continue off of the PHP coding Smong has already done, which is so far (in my opinion) quite a progression in this project.
  24. Are you staying with MS3D or merging to MAP/LVL? If you're doing MAP/LVL (which would make me extremely happy and joyful), you can save the editor for later, since there's Valve Hammer Editor to use. An editor specifically for Thirdspace (VHE-clone) can come later. >.< 3D Radar can be an MS3D generation / part of MAP/LVL compile; or is that what you mean?
  25. http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?p=...#post1031393252 Cerulean is me. http://www.crazypc.com/articles/condensation.htm http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?p=2404473 http://www16.big.or.jp/~bunnywk/ln2/ln2_e.html http://www.tomshardware.com/2003/12/30/5_ghz_project/ http://www.overclockers.com/tips422/ http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=30925 http://www.tomshardware.com/2003/12/30/5_g...ject/page2.html http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=getarticl...amp;articID=429 http://www.beowulf.org/archive/2001-June/003919.html http://www.abc.net.au/science/surfingscientist/behind.htm http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=125155 http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=102575 http://www.techwarelabs.com/articles/mod/c...n/index_4.shtml http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=125155 Question: There was also this solvent or material that I picked up a few days ago (shame I didn't write it down) that helped to prevent condensation..something I could dip the heatsink into for a few moments before setting it aside for future use. Anyone know what it / some might be? Other Mentions: I am wide open for recommendations, suggestions, additions, etc. Even though it might not be necessary, your name will be written down on my credits listing. I'll try include photos whenever I can and is possible.
