Firstly, that is a private IP address only you and the people in your LAN will and are able to see. Your internet IP can be found through http://www.whatismyip.com/. The following is a list of directory servers I use in my Continuum client (copied and pasted): warpath.hlrse.net dir.cz.sshq.net sscentral.sscuservers.net ssdir.playsubspace.com

Two ways: (1) bribe a Subspace council member, or (2) seek approval from the council for a slot.

I don't understand the math behind it...and I've had my cousin try explain and show it to me before. X_x

How about combining Hyperspace with Trench Wars, DSB, EG, MGS, T3, etc? The picture isn't complete if you just take one zone (that isn't even the most populated, even). You have to take all the current zones, even the empty ones and the non-SSC zones and networks. Then you have to combine all that into one big, fat pipe and calculate from there.

Perhaps we still do, just that there are less and less people that play the game frequently and daily.

UK Teen facing procecution for Calling Scientology a "Cult"
L.C. replied to doc flabby's topic in General Discussion
I wonder if they'd sue everyone on the internet (or the internet) if there was a thread with thousands of posts calling Scientology a cult and other stuff. -
In Hungary, I think you have to drive about or around 100,000 miles to be considered a driver or something.

Hah, well if you think about abusing this insurance, you'll be in trouble with your license before you can use up your 7 coverings. Second, if a judge sees "this" as being intentionally abused in court, they can rule against it regardless of what you think or care. After all, this insurance doesn't provide lawyers or attorney's, just some fees. Could have used this last year though for a stupid speed trap. As far as I know, Idaho has no speed limit on their highways as long as you drive safely around people and other vehicles. Well you see, that's where I'm a bit suspicious about this insurance. If you have kids, just imagine how high you can push your insurance premiums with subliminal intent of abusing your ticket insurance. Have like 8 kids, and they all get their license and stuff before turning 18, get pulled over and such (and to mention you never reported them to your car insurance company), just wait until you get a huge insurance bill... Think this ticket insurance company will want to pay for that? I don't. It's a loss in profit and money. Companies don't give you anything for free unless they make profit one way or another. Paying for your insurance premiums is a joke. I dare you, Maddox (Samapico). At the end of time the people who know the truth and stick for it will be known as the renegades, rebels, and criminals of time. Now come on, understand this -- everyone sins. If everyone does it, it must be right, doesn't it? (I'm not actually serious *muahahahaaha*) lol. This I sort of have to argue. If there is absolutely nobody alive at 4AM outside, why not? I mean if you know for a fact that there's nobody within miles with a car turned on and everyone is sleeping, and you forget to stop at an intersection because you're tired and coming home from some weird late-night work, do you think you'd deserve that ticket? There are two logics: humanly and systematically. If you were doing it systematically, then yes, you deserve the fine and the ticket because you tripped a wire in the system. If you used the 'humanly' logic, it should be understandable that you are tired, coming from a late-night job that you couldn't avoid, just wanting to get home and to bed and can't pay 100% attention to certain things, but know nobody is out -- it would be understandable and should be a forgivable, punishless act. Then you have to question the righteousness of doing 125 on a 30 at 4 in the morning intentionally, when nobody is alive or in sight. Either that police officer is weird (I really don't know what to say) or the officer just wants your money because he knows he can get it through the systematic logic. However, because it was done with intention, I think everyone here could agree that the part of it being intended would make it an act of breaking the laws of the State. Personally, I can't quite decide if an event like this should be forgiven or penalized. It was wrong, but done during a safe time range of the day. Then you have to question or analyze your moral standards: what do you consider right and wrong? Do you use the philosophy or logic that if it was wrong, it was wrong regardless of conditions? Or do you use that if it depended on specific scenarios, was wrong, and conditions allowed an action to be accomplished with only the slightest or no risk at all then it would be a right or ok thing to do (or if it had the slightest risk, it would be a wrong thing to do because the potential is there; simply the potential existing causing you to identify such action as wrong)? Anyway. By the way, I hope nobody takes this reply in an offensive way. I just don't have the time to keep up with things to the minute (and if I were, I'd be replying more frequently). No harms. :]

Aight, forgive me if I missed any important notes that I should have considered. I just skimmed through the replies. *shrugs* I have to agree with you though. Makes some sense (and as you say, doesn't necessarily mean better). Got it.

NOD32. I'm using it. No problems with Continuum.

?top10 and ?coin are a nice feature, but should be optional (by that meaning that these commands can be enabled/disabled). The ?c- commands are ugly, so I renamed them all to ?chat. Actually, you should probably take a look at http://www.hlrse.net/Qwerty/.ssb2-112/command.h to see how I would have done the commands. Otherwise I would much prefer that Accede be kept simple, professional, and VIE-like. Although nice features, I would completely disagree with them being part of a biller because VIE wouldn't do it; the design (aka the idea, the way it is written) isn't professional. It should be an ASSS module or bot function.

I think that has something to do with CSS interferences and/or collisions.

I'm more concerned about being VAC banned, you see. And the last time since I had my account's password reset Valve's policies for password reset or reclaiming a hijacked account was very loose and unrestricted. The rules are very strict now and I'm afraid that I might not be able to reclaim my account if it were hijacked again. I just don't want to go through with it again. If you get my account VAC banned for Source-based games, that's permanent. Valve won't undo that. Other points have been made and supported already by the above replies. That $100 would secure trust -- and I would only use as much of it as I would have to if you devalued any part of my account (such as getting it VAC banned for Source games) to regain that original value; other wise I would completely refund all of it after you would be done using it since there was no value lost from my account during your session with it. If you don't accept my offer, then that's fine with me. Just something I won't have to worry or think about.

Well if he gave me a down payment I might let him use my Steam account. You see, by Valve's TOS you are not allowed to share your Steam account. This is mainly a big trust issue. If I, for example, let him borrow my Steam account -- I run the risk of my password being changed, my account being screwed with, or being VAC banned. Send me $100 through PayPal and I'll let you use my account. Once you're done I'll refund that $100 completely. Sound good? Or if not $100, something equivalent to the value of my account so that if it were screwed with to begin with I could go and duplicate the account as a fresh and untouched/unused account.

You could essentially just *wearz* a cracked copy to try it out.

How much? I might buy one.

I think it might be a good idea to learn from Valve's VAC2 system (Valve Anti-Cheat 2). Works very well and accurately...and you definitely can't get passed it. Then again you would have to make Subspace 2 subscription based or something you have to buy to be able to play. You should look into getting this on Steam through SteamWorks (http://www.steampowered.com/steamworks/) and using some of the nice things they provide you with. It might help.

I don't know if it would work. Put yourself in the point of view of the players are who down-to-earth addicted Hyperspace-only players. How do you think they'd react to see only one zone online at a time?
