I meant as long as it does not use the same zone title as Death Star Battle. Additionally, Hoch is not permitting the future use of DSB's material after the zone shuts down. But I believe it is correct to believe that DSB will still remain alive. I would fail to believe that for a zone having a community as large as DSBs that they would all simply just stop and go away after DSB is shutdown. The zone is too popular and alive to be shutdown. =X

Only true to the extent that you probably won't be cleared for an SSC slot. A "DSB-like" clone probably won't be enough. DSB just isn't DSB if it isn't DSB. According to Hoch's FAQ at http://forums.deathstarbattle.com/showthread.php?p=31520#post31520, none of this has anything to do with bills or financial matters.

According to replies following the quote at HardForum, 1.5mm per meter is probably way too high. Anyway, I'm more interested in seeing actual videos and pictures of this in use. =D Then we can get a better idea of how powerful this is.

I've been thinking more about this (not in terms of buying one, because for one I don't have money, and two I don't think I'd use it): This could be used in Iraq/Afghanistan/war-in-general. It would be REALLY bad if the Taliban and insurgents got ahold of these. D: I bet you could quickly clear houses with a couple 1W lasers and some helmets with $150+ protective visors. And then snipers ... just imagine the horror they could experience if a soldier shined it in the right direction. (Probably wouldn't even have to try very hard on the part of aiming to get the job done.) Someone could build a minigun with 8+ pipes of 1W lasers. Someone could make a ring that they wear on their body -- or maybe composed or multiple rings. Each ring could have a laser pointing away from the person, and have 8+ 1W lasers. Each ring would rotate in different directions/speeds. Then imagine the potential chaos that could ensue in various places around the world ... like in New York, or Afghanistan, or Africa, or a FIFA World Cup soccer game, or a museum of glass, or a museum/place of jewelry and diamonds, or in prison (if you could manage to sneak one in), or in bathrooms of mirror-frenzy, or a swimming pool/center, or against a riot, or against anti-riot/SWAT (of course you could expect being shot at, but if you aimed carefully and had some luck on your side...), or in places like Korea/China when there are protests, or one of those nudist people that run out onto the field during a soccer game could use one of these 1W lasers to prolong their attention, or use in a [high-speed?] pursuit, or ... Someone could even mod one of these onto a paintball sentry turret and have it activate the laser when it sights and engages at a target.

You are right in your assumption that I did not read his post. I was just posting general advice. But hurling insults and going about at a personal level is no way to get things done.

By resorting to a personal level like this, nobody will ever have a reason to listen to you. If you want to do it, fine. But don't expect anyone to care or listen. EDIT: Also, I think it's against the rules here too, but I will let a moderator be the judge of that.

Very nice work! I was going to turn the entire fontset of Continuum (all sizes) into TTF fonts using a pixel-to-pixel editor on some website (I already forgot its name), which would/was going to take a ridiculously long time. I stopped after a while and gave the account information to JabJabJab (in case he ever felt like completing it). This is good because then we do not have to rely on bitmaps for the font. (At least for future productions of Subspace.)

I changed the thermal paste on my cousin's XBox, which lowered its temperatures by like 20*C. I also changed the thermal paste on my cousin's PS2, but I have no way of checking the temperature and some circuit parts are broken and the ODD needs replacement.

I'm not looking for the ones in the picture used to move glass. Reread my post.
