  1. The background is transparent actually (so I didn't switch but removed). It's a PNG.
  2. What if you resize the original image to 100x its size with resize mode set to "nearest neighbor" (Photoshop terminology). That way the upscaled version is the same as the original, but upscaled 100x. Then rotate it. Downscale it to appropriate dimensions. Then you won't have the black edges. EDIT: Here's a picture to illustrate. (EDIT2: FYI the background is transparent, not white; background was removed, not switched to white. Also, this is a PNG.) http://www.hlrse.net/Qwerty/noaa_rotation.png
  3. A zone called.. RAMBINATORRR. You're Rambo versus 249 AI bots.
  4. The reason I am surprised because (aside from some oldies being here), at least to my recollections, this was common knowledge back 5 years ago.
  5. And I have to disagree with you about Jackpot SVS. That's my hobby zone, it isn't SSC (nobody is mandating you to require its presence in the zone list by default), nobody can regulate non-SSC zones (ahh the freedom of having server tools available), and more important, all of you are forgetting that it's not population that makes a game a dead or alive game. There is way too much focus on what zones have population and which don't, and yall' forgetting what this game is really about. My two cents. -_- Anyway, that's not changing for Jackpot SVS, and if there was an addon for Subgame2 where I could add my bot's names to a TXT file and make Subgame2 not count those users into the pop, then I would do exactly just that. The zone is a museum/archive zone for anyone to play in it. I'm not around 24/7 to know when people want bots to get the full nostalgic experience I can possible offer for the current states of the zone. >.< D: EDIT: hehehe >:]
  6. I very shocked that none of you were aware of that feature. Then again, I'm not shocked because of the "expect the unexpected" principle. Newbs.
  7. What? You never know you could do that?
  8. I'm pulling my numbers from actual speed competitions and practice.
  9. 1 divided by 0 because you have 13 posts.
  10. Additionally, you can create a folder in Continuum\zones\SSCU Trench Wars and put your bullets.bm2 in there. The folder you create must be the name of the arena for which you want to override LVZ with custom graphics/sounds. If you want to override all Public arenas, the folder name must be (Public). If you want to override the LVZ for subarena elim, you create a folder named elim and put your graphics/sounds in there. ie. Continuum\zones\SSCU Trench Wars\(Public)\bullets.bm2 ie. Continuum\zones\SSCU Trench Wars\elim\bullets.bm2
  11. Think Hoch had a point?
  12. L Y N X does make a good point. I usually type between 70-90 naturally without thinking about it or even trying. I attain higher speeds when, for some reason, I'm more energetic and hyperactive. ;o My natural speeds used to be in the 110-120 range, but that was like when I was 10-13 years old.

    LoL

girls never play ss. who made that rumor up?
  14. No, bitcoin isn't illegal. Since when was having your own currency illegal? People do that all the time, especially large cities like New York. I forgot what it was called, but there is a major third-party currency that is used in New York amongst the locals, and from what I hear it works really well and better than USD. These systems are no different than going from USD to EUR to rupees (India) to YEN, etc. Anyway, I tried my best. Unfortunately I don't know what it is you are looking for. Maybe someone else might know..
  15. http://www.bitcoin.org/ ?
  16. >.< Was just playing devil's advocate, sorry.
  17. The you will not find a billing network that is suitable. Unless you run your own, of course, but then your credibility is at question. The best billing network is the one where it has a healthy, trusted, and interconnected group of leaders to form a healthy ring of leadership. If one of the leaders in that ring of leadership is not synchronized with the health of the group, the whole chain of command and foundation of the system will be or is broken, and will fall in the form of the Domino Effect. One person can't be trusted because then everyone exclaims, "Dictator!" and questions the reliability. Two or more persons can't be trusted because of disagreements and inconsistencies amongst the group of leaders; if they are not in sync, one person or more persons are bound to abuse and utilize the system out of their own greed/selfishness/agenda/self-gain/power/ego. It's either one way or the other. You can't have it both ways. Based on the impression I am getting of what "you guys are looking for," you won't find what you're looking for, guaranteed.
  18. mm, Isometry.
  19. About the same. Used to type 20wpm faster. Can still do that, but my fingers/wrist aren't feeling well.
  20. For one, you should buy a router and ditch Zone Alarm entirely; my opinion. (EDIT: And stay away from cheap routers under $40 if possible.) All of those have pretty bad loss. You should have something like, 0ish, for Loss%.
  21. Creed by Steve Turner It is then followed by a postscript Chance What do you think? Opinions? :? (I think it was well written.)
  22. I would change the engine sound to this: http://www.hlrse.net/Qwerty/Chacarron.ogg (182 KB) Some people would prefer TIE fighter sounds, others would change it to..
  23. Just keep hanging on. The future is bright from my perspective.
  24. Well I fixed my LCD problem by disassembling and reassembling my laptop, so.. http://www.joyunbound.com/2010/07/assembling-a-lenovo-g530-4446-24u-laptop/ If I had to, I would go as far as resoldering stuff, or even baking teh laptop motherboard.
