Since I've seen many people doing this in spam lounge and in game before... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics...n-Rickroll.html Kinda funny.

and how do you know him? Edit: Sama, goto bed.

Mmm if you can't find noone, I might be able to find time. Just don't drop it on me and expect it the next day, as Testtube can tell you, that never works.

Just trying something different out for a few days. Most the projects have gone dormat and just sit on the frontpage loading as so. Most people just scroll down the forum and you see bunch of active forums, dead forums, bunch of active forums. I don't see it hindering them much, as this is how we use to have them organized. We just brought them to the front to give DCME more of a chance to be seen. And now it is the only actively used project forum at the moment.

I have COD4, and to be honest, I like World at War a lot better.

Probably have to say my favorite yet. Sadly the Nazi Zombies got me from behind my 1st solo run on the bonus level. Good times though. Found it really tough at times, and wasn't a breeze like most the other ones. Though I like the flame thrower, and a few of the sniper rounds a lot. Also the final battles for each campaign are a bitch at times.

Holy crap.. just checked that game out... Top Gear on the SNES is based on it right? This video shows the intro, and it's the exact same music as Top Gear Edit: and has all the same songs as Top Gear, and the gameplay it looks a lot like it too That seems to be Turbo Challenge 2 though, not 3 holy crap, I remember that game, haha.

I was kind of thinkin bout this the other day when I blew the dust off my Quake2 cd, and thought about the days when I was in clan Se7en playing Q2 CTF more religiously than I ever have Subspace. Hell, I quit subspace for almost 2yrs just to solely play Q2. Man, the days of dialup, and waiting overnight to get CTF updates and new mods, haha. Subspace (1996ish) was probably the 1st computer game I ever played outside of Oregon Trail in like the 1st grade (1991ish). Was on my buddy's dad's computer, then I got my own and found Quake2 and that was the end of it. Man, good times good times. Kinda makes me wanna see if my old clan is even around still. What were your 1st computer games?

Thing was, when we sat down and discussed that forum you all seemed to "love" and want back... It had 4 topics posted in in the last month (at the time) and we're talking this was the END of the month when we we're looking at it. Only one had even been posted in in like 2 weeks. So really, just posting in general discussion is good enough.

Meh. Just do what a friend of mine did when she was still living in Tennesee. She went in and asked for a prescription for the morning after pill cause her pharmacy wouldn't give her it without one (Funny enough my g/f just walked up, asked for it and got it here... meh.). He said he couldn't do that for her as it was morally wrong. She was like "You want morally wrong? How bout if I do get pregnant, in 3 months when I have them shove a pick in the fetus's head and swirl the brains all around and kill it, I bring it and leave it in your office on that coffee table for everyone to see." Because he thought it "even more wrong to have an abortion" after like 15mins of back and forth, he broke down and gave her the prescription.

there we're a few, saying it was stupid and pointless, I remember that much.

dude, I popped in Q2 the other day (yes, still have my original disk)... holy shit the graphics... lol. Q4 and Q2, amazing the differences. Almost bigger than Half-Life to Half-Life2

In time I'll advertise again. But I'm not really doing much, as I'll have to do it all again once 3.0 comes out (installing mods, updating skin, etc.). So nothing worth advertising just yet. But you guys can feel free to post, tell friends about posting and threads here, etc. The simplest advertisement is word of mouth. SSF was born from word of mouth (not in the literal sense, typing of course, but yea), and still lives by such.

Sadly... yes. I turned on its post count before I banned JDS and all. Was just curious how many posts he and X'terr had in there, and was then I found the threads. So sad as those stats are, they coulda been worse.
-
Well for the start, is just hoping those who still visit realize their posts and threads won't be hijacked or spammed by retards. Cause as I said, our traffic hasn't seen much of a drop, unlike our new posts and topics have. Lots of people visit everyday and don't post. People I know use to be some of our most active posters I see on daily in the "People who logged in today" section of the website. Yes, may also be they just don't care to post anymore, but 1 of them I pmed saying hi, said he couldn't believe the stupidity I've let SSF become.

Highlighted in both images are the last time this topic was brought up. That some people we're starting to get carried away with their bs, and I got quite a few pms complaining about it. But as before, it was decided nothing derastic was needed. Yeah. I found JDS's lovely Pot thread amongst 2 others. Both breaking both old and new rules, and I told him last time his ban was up, anything again and he was gone for good. X'terr said he was done with this place, so figured I'd help him with keeping away. Funny though that he got on every day and I ignored many complaints about his bs and he seems to claim he didn't do anything wrong... oh well.

Spam Lounge is gone, and X'terr and JDS are banned. If you feel the urge to post pointless crap noone is going to read... http://www.myspace.com or http://www.facebook.com would be good places to start. Or just create a blog at blogspot.com

I've posted them before somewhere, i'll find it in a bit, but we we're on an increase until a recent influx of some annoyances people have been constantly pming me and complaining about. Issue is the administration didn't think they we're worth banning. About the time I last brought it up, was the same time we began seeing a decrease in posting. Not user activity on visiting, that is still on a slight up trend, but just posting. No doubt they got tired of having their threads hijacked. I'll try to post some stats again later. Also I have talked to all of these people in the past about this bs. And they all seem to try and make it sound like they're the victim and promise they'll stop. But then nothing ever changes, so I give up on the 1 on 1. This time, taking care of them all in 1 big punch so maybe the idea gets through to them.

Due to popular demand and admin discussion, Bad Word Filter removed and Rule #2 updated. The plan is to eventually deem the removal of the spam lounge, as really, the shit I see in there anymore, ain't even worth wasting the server space. If spam takes over a topic, we'll just delete it, warn, and if need be, ban. That and/or continue as we have, close topics that go too far off course.
