I didn't even get more than 2/3 of the way through before I got bored of it. Buy it used if you do. Was 10.99 used for 360 for me. Normally like 29.99 or 39.99 new still.

Yeah, he accidently put the post # as the topic #. Post 222,229... forgot how many we've lost round here over the years, being yours is 242,335. Though that also counts rightfully deleted posts, posts from deleted zone forums and squad forums, etc.

Look through all his posts... Well, you can't look at all of them since not admin, but in his profile you should be able to see last 5 posts and topics. Show me one that had any worth. I learned mostly from finding open source programs, basic ones. Looking at what they did, and comparing the code they used... Granted this was back in like 99-01 era, so there is sure to be LOTS more info on the web now.

Yeah. The server has been having issues for a lot of people on both sides of the US. It is central, so only natural there. TT is really good about monitoring it, so must be something outta our control.

Windows 7 is previous to Vista and has had even more time spent on it than Vista (which began dev even before XP was released). Then they took some of the features planned for Windows 7 and built them into Vista. I never really heard much about Vista pre-releasing except when it was codenamed "Longhorn", but I have heard lots about Windows 7 from a friend who got into MS. They've been taking lots of feedback from Vista into Windows 7, and improving on what they had before even. The GUI has changed something like 20x, and I guess Ballmer wanted it to have the same feel as Vista upon release, so you get a lot of the current Vista crap in there. His company, so goes his way sadly. I've switched between *nix and Windows for a while now, but a Vista built laptop w/ XP on it has been my fav so far. Though I will give Windows 7 a good thurough play once it is released.

Well XP was outbenching Vista on some things, but I guess Windows 7 outbenches them both on almost everything. Might need to look to see if it is up on my favorite forums yet or not.

Entered the new years curled up with the g/f, a drink, and Star Wars Music... Glad to see my tax payer money going to some good, mhmm. It's a fun 7min to watch, granted wish I coulda made it down there this year.

Do you have a "logs" folder? If not, try making one. if so, make sure that it isn't read only. I don't remember what other settings vista has with writing files privleges.

Heard it from quite a few reliable sources. But honestly (not trying to offend any zones here, just being honest) but it is hosting nothing more than a bunch of dead zones. That or zones working on development that really don't have much pop. Waste of money to have a large server just for that imho. Especially if it is the same server they had long ago hosting a bunch of larger zones and their bots without any issue. I'm sure SSCE or SSCC could help some of them with hosting for that if they really need it.
