Speaking of advertising... 1,260/3,991 e-mails sent to members who haven't logged in in more than 30 days. Already 25 downloads of Continuum from SSForum (linked it in the e-mail). Highly doubt EVERYONE has read it, it hasn't hit spam boxes, and they still have those e-mails or e-mails we're legit. So 25 downloads is actually pretty exciting. Hopefully more should follow.

I have put quite a bit of time into finalizing the layout, and the structure of the site, only to continue to be dissapointed by IPB, again. CCS was suppose to be out 2 weeks after IPB 3.0.0 (or wait, as IPB loves to say, "We said should" or "Might be", "not definately"). It has now been almost 1 month, and still just getting slight status updates. If I don't hear anything by next weekend, I will just begin coding SSO myself. I can't garuntee it will be super feature rich for a while, as I'll be spending more time coding the backend than just getting the site together, but I will get it done. If it weren't for the pain in the ass converting would be... I sware I'd drop IPB in a heartbeat after the BS they have pulled this past year. --------------------- Granted, I have thought of a new section for the site to coincide with the event banner ads. Will be kind of like an events calendar where you can scroll through and see all the events in zones for the current and next month. Should give zones an oppurtunity to advertise more large events, without just hoping their banner ad pops up. Again, if I have to end up coding the backend, I may not make it too feature rich at 1st, but in time i'd like to make it pretty easy to submit an event or a banner for a quick approval by an admin.

I checked: Software Emulation (Good for built in GPUs), Avoid Page Flipping, No Framerate Limit, Show Default Resolutions (you probably don't need this one if they're listed), and Disable Clipping. Software Emulation and Disable clipping make a big difference on fps on my laptop. 20fps in MG without em checked, 119 with em.

Flash is enabled now. They had a new setting I had never seen to disable it, and it had it disabled.

POS keyboard, deleted my post. Anyways, I already told Hoch about it, need to talk to BlueGoku also about maybe moving Name/Squad Retrieval. But there is a new central billing site in the works, as Ghost is REALLY pushing on priit to get scores connection for me for a scores page. Me & MTN decided a central site would be good again, so it will be a subdomain on the new sso. Larry is working on a design, and it will have news, information, faqs, staff, scores, and links to the BanG Dispute and Name/Squad forms. BanG.SSCentral.com will be moved to this new site, and if BlueGoku is down, we will also setup a new form. Mackieman has been removed from power last I heard, and neither Mom or myself have access to his script to help out. So not knowing if players will get help (dunno blue's activity level right now, though he says he checks it a lot), I just have them e-mail me or contact me in game. I get about 20-30 pms/messages daily, and handle em all on the spot. I'm on a lot, and know most the SSC zone sysops, and a good amount of zone staff throughout the game. So I think that kinda helps, as it gives them someone they know to point a player to. Anyways. Site should be up soon, as it'll only take a matter of a few hrs to throw a static website like that together.

I've been bugged for... a long time now to restart The Abyss. Altec and me did it once, but just didn't have things setup/the draw we needed. Well, a lot of players are zoneless now, or zone hopping again, so figured it was a good time to do it. To most players its new, to the vets, its old, and to others, they never heard of it but we're here during 2000-2002. The Abyss is Turf Flagging, Powerballing, Bounty Rabbit, and Chaos (open dueling). The settings are heavily mixed of DSB, TW, and EG. Bullets and Bombs are deadly, so you make your weapon of choice, and there is a great stronghold at the fr, but it does have its weaknesses if a team can setup right. 2 Simple goal structures left and right make for some fun balling for players (in time will setup a powerball side game again), and of course everyone loves chasing the bounty rabbit and pwning the poor newb who some how killed the last one. But just figured I'd throw it out there to all the old ex players (quite a few out there) that I put the zone back up.

I sent you an e-mail to send on to the council Hoch. But pretty much, I have 0 access to this form, and I get about 80% of the name requests between myself and mom. As I said in such E-mail, BlueGoku posted in HZ he was quiting SS, so I dunno his stance with billing, and as far as I know he and Mackie we're the only 2 with access to the form. Mackie is no longer an op, and I dunno his status. So really, sending em to the form unless I know they'll get helped, isn't an option for me.

Where do people who don't really know nor don't really care fall? But, religion according to the bible: I also find the 1st paragraph of this so very true: Me, my only real belief is if I do good and help others, good happens to me. As it always has seemed. My nickname with my g/f's family is "Mr. Lucky" as I always have good things happen to me, win a lot of stuff, and always seem to get the best deals/hook ups on anything. Why? I'm honest and not a dick. Does that mean my belief is a religion? According to the religious people's bible, no. According to myself, no. According to others, maybe, maybe not. Life is what you make it, and you're only here a short time, so enjoy it.
