Just tested some measures that could have made spam bots cry, but they turned out not to work: -Post limit/24h doesn't do anything to the 'Guest' group, since you're not technically a member of that group when you post, probably. -Tried to limit usage of URL bbcode for the Guest group. I selected all groups except Guests and Bots, yet no one could use the URL tag at all. A max TOPICS / limit would also be very useful. Even post limit / 24h is pretty useless... Post limit / hour would be much more useful against spam.

I think you can submit a file to the IP.Downloads here... a mod will just need to approve it. Try it out, tell me if it doesn't work

The PM quota probably changed when we had to make a new general moderators group... it was higher than 100 (fixed) And that's the quota of messages you can receive, so that's probably why you can still send them.

Make sure they are placed in your Continuum\banners folder, and that they are 12x8 bitmap in 256 colors format. Also, what Hakaku was talking about is the ingame 'select banner' thing, not the 'create/edit banner' window accessible from the main menu, which you were referring to. For the security tab... are you 1) using Vista? 2) Administrator on your system?
