  1. Atleast it will now be possible to modify the plug-in properly for a league
  2. ownership is a good thing I think... or anything that would give limited powers to a person in a certain arena (including uploading lvz's that are on the arena.cfg, but not on server.cfg or spawn.cfg..... or somehting like that)
  3. [bleh]
  4. bleh thanks ... stupid quotes!
  5. I'm trying to write a VERY SIMPLE .bat file to update other XP User profile's media library... Copying the files from user Sam to user Alain. I have tried several things, but I always get an invalid syntax error when comes the time to move the file to the other folder (or copy it directly there) @echo off cd C:\Do!@#$%^&*ents and Settings\Sam\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player copy CurrentDatabase_59R.wmdb Temp copy wmpfolders.wmdb Temp move C:\Do!@#$%^&*ents and Settings\Sam\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player\Temp\*.* C:\Do!@#$%^&*ents and Settings\Alain\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player PAUSE I also tried copying it directly copy C:\Do!@#$%^&*ents and Settings\Sam\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player\*.* C:\Do!@#$%^&*ents and Settings\Alain\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player I'm no pro at DOS and its the first time I write a bat file... Oh, and I have tried doing all the same commands directly in the DOS command prompt and I get the same error, so it's not a problem with my bat file, but with my syntax... Can anyone help? I'm using XP pro
  6. ---> Nuclear Risk <---
  7. This poll shows with 100% accuracy the optimism of the average SS player.
  8. hex editing server.cfg ?? wtf? ...... notepad?
  9. Edit: [nevermind]
  10. bump?
  11. I think he meant more like... to type HUGE letters accross map, like.. the name of the zone... all with 1 specific tile.
  12. nvm that 32-bit thing.. I can't reproduce the bug since I overwritten the file.. So I don't really know what it was anyway... Oh.. add something that tells you the size of the selection / square / line / ellipse you are drawing... like where there are currently only coords.. change it to: Xstart , Ystart -> Xcoord , Ycoord Xsize x Ysize while drawing something
  13. grrrrreat oh, add support for 32-bit tilesets ... i've opened a map that had one, and it screwed the tileset up when i saved it (made it all white)
  14. The program remembers the last folder from which you opened a file... so you don't need that.
  15. The fill tool acts weird when you try to fill in open spaces... you should restrict it when it's going to fill in thousands of tiles ; it slows down the whole program , and will only bug the map anyway Anyways, very good job If you want to enable LVZ handling, I suggest you have it somehow in a different module or something, so it wouldn't slow down the program when you don't need lvz's
  16. lol
  17. MMav's the man You can also include your sysop password in your profile password... just set your password to: yournormalp!@#$%^&*word*sysopp!@#$%^&*word
  18. I guess the other zone needs to be ASSS too?
  19. how can anyone use less than 56k.. .whoahh... i'm sure you can find 56k modems for free if you look in the neighbour's trash
  20. I don't think it is possible with the current client/server system... Long ago, there was that ?zone command to switch zones... but it doesn't work since..........since continuum? or even before that maybe... i don't know
  21. For the phantom wall... I don't know which one !@#$%^&* uses... cause there are many possible TileID's... you should use the same ID for it than !@#$%^&* does, so maps are compatible... ID #243-#251 - Phantom wall - Invisible on radar. - This acts exactly like a wall, just you can't see it on radar. - Tile is invisible.
  22. wow..... I think it already surp!@#$%^&*es SSME, only because it handles special tiles ;D... AND if you ever implement LVZ handling in that thing... I'm sure it will surp!@#$%^&* !@#$%^&* (stupid slow Java ) and you should get rid of the useless tile ID's and give the usable special tiles icons If I remember right, !@#$%^&* did not include support for some of those tiles, which properties did not seem very useful, but they should still be available, they can always be of some use for certain situations ; For example, I think there was a tile that had the properties of a wormhole, except that if you placed tiles at its right side, and below it, it lost its warping property... anyways... maybe like.. give the important ones an icon, and not bother with the others and give them only a number... There's a well-do!@#$%^&*ented topic on this forum about those tiles.. Edit: found the text file... hmm
  23. He deleted it... from your memory.
  24. NICE!!!!! I'm currently learning Visual Basic... you think you could send me the files so I can take a look at those scripts and screw around with it? That'd be cool... I'm pretty much a beginner so.. don't worry for me using your stuff to release something or whatever
