  1. i just fixed something on your replace brush... you were using something like: for i = - width \ 2 to width \ 2 [blah] next like we used in several other places... but there is a problem with it rounding up weird on odd numbers... so the way to do it from now on would be this: offset = (width-1) \ 2 startx = startx - offset starty = starty - offset endx = endx - offset endy = endy - offset for i = 0 to width [blah] next that way, we make sure the size is correct, and the same offset is applied to all coordinates
  2. being able to do both without modifying options is still nice... but i guess an option could invert the two actions... so up/down would switch tool, and shift+up/down would zoom in / out
  3. hm... actually Shift would be better because Control switches to the dropper temporarly... makes switching tool screwed up and... done and ctrl switched to dropper only with certain tools... i changed that so it works with any tool
  4. hm, i didnt change that... and I think it always acted like that... but I agree up should zoom in and ctrl + mousewheel for tool is a good idea
  5. giving the option to customize it would not "change it"
  6. the mouse wheel actually zooms in/out ; i dont know if it is working for you... but the idea of changing tools... hmm... i like it it could be an option... and then you could choose many other things that could be useful i guess...

  11. unpinned ; the component is now installed in the DCME folder automatically with v1.2.7 setup
  12. Try the new setup file available in the latest build post... It installs the needed components (msinet.ocx) Too bad it is impossible to upload exe here... cause for now you still have to unzip the setup file, then start it... bleh. Perhaps we could get the file hosted on some site and provide a direct link.
  13. adjustable color randomizer on airbrush... pretty cool

  15. isnt that ... emm... old?
  16. wootage... almost done with the selection for tile editor... it works like a charm with undo/redo, and it allows photoshop-like selections, of course
  17. just fixed something that speeds up considerably selecting empty tiles at zoom 1:4, resolution 1024x768 , selecting the whole screen with no tiles in them took ~6000ms , it's now down to ~2000ms
  18. selecting "everything" is useless anyway... thats why the CTRL+A makes you "select all visible tiles" ; it wont select empty areas so it makes the selecting much faster
  19. hm.. im not getting an error, but it skips the save tileset procedure when the tileset is the default one... all fixed but for now, if you want to edit the default tileset, you should first Export it as bmp, then edit that tileset.
  20. hm... try File -> Save and use tileset for now.. that should work ; I'm guessing you were using default tileset right? i didnt try that... i'll fix that
  21. check for updates, 1.2.68 is available
  22. Why not? There must be an explanation and ability to change them. Is there some kind of limit that allows you to only texture 19x10 set? I would have thought that these extra tiles would be exactly as the same as the 19x10 set, except by default without any texturing, being 'black' basically (some with black being transparent). It is impossible to texture them because they are hard-coded in the Continuum client... they get their properties (including graphics) from something we cant change
  23. perhaps drake can upload it as 1.2.68 update ; until everything gets done
  24. hm... actually WinRAR seems to have PLENTY of settings for self-extracting archives... we can make it create shortcuts, delete files, whatever... nice So to make things simple I think the best would be to: Provide a self extracting EXE for download, that would ask you the path to extract to, and that would include msinet.ocx, and that would create a shortcut Then, additional updates are selfextracting exe's that would contain only the updated exe, and probably a history.txt file ; that archive would be executed automatically and would extract in its current folder... Just noticed we can even make it run automatically after it is extracted... that's awesome Once I'm done with the Tile Editor, i'll change back some of what I've done for the EZ update to adapt it to self-extracting archives, and we'll be ready to release version 1.3
  25. and on Subspace Downloads, v1.07 has reached 799 downloads... so there are like 600 people out there who still have that very old version and did not update... v1.2.3 has 217 downloads there... and v1.2.67 only has 24 there yet keep spreading the word about DCME and if people tell you that they tried it, and hated it, tell them to get the latest version cause they are probably using that old 1.07
